It's probable that the stage light left on was a "ghostlight." That's a lamp left on in a theater, to make sure no one stumbles in the dark. It's traditionally placed on the stage itself.

If I recall, the Yes Man face is just a clipart they found online, so it makes sense that it's the same in universe. And yes, the code was stupidly simple, but between the case and the panic, I give the scientists a break.

I think this was a reference to Glados from Portal, esp with the gas killing people, figuring out puzzles, and the Goodbye message of being "disappointed"

That was a fun one! I especially enjoyed the computer voice and glitches that were added, it made it much spookier. But I think this is the true difference between our world and Fallout's world - they decorated for Halloween here and there, but if the bombs dropped in our universe can you imagine how much Halloween setup there would be?! There would be 10 foot skeletons abandoned everywhere!

That TV helmet for Power Armour is perfect for the Sentinel Suit from the CC. I actually have the Sentinel in Tesla X-02 with that Helmet and I've never been happier with that companion. Obviously using the Yes man face lmao.

The ironic thing is you're wearing power armor you don't even get affected that way in the halogen building where you have to do the Vault 88 mission I think whoever created this mod did not account for the fact that power armor has a filter that filters out toxins so that you don't get poison damage

The code for the door was simple because as mentioned in the terminal the AI wasn’t too good at puzzles. As for why the scientist couldn’t solve it, the combination of panic at encountering actual booby traps and the gas Pratt introduced into the air vents made them unable to think straight. Speaking of Pratt given his corpse was found at the podium it seems he died in one of three ways: either he was murdered by the AI controlled Protectron after he passed out drunk after hooking up the gas, or he died from inhaling the gas while unconscious, or he died when the nukes hit the next morning while he was still passed out drunk. And yeah I agree with the other commenters the guys who made this content for the game should’ve added in a single holotape instead of a written note for the part where the lady says stuff is coming out of the walls. Also yeah I feel bad for the AI, I know he killed people but it was his users fault he did bad stuff because they overloaded his systems and he didn’t know any better. 😢

This is late but from my initial plays before the latest update it actually works if you listen to the Mysterious signal immediately upon exiting vault 111 for the first time. In the same vain if you can't do that objective because of this glitch just go to the Harbormaster Hotel and enter the New England technocrat society ballroom. You can absolutely do this creation during random exploration. And before you ask I play on the series S.

Would have been funny if the Protectron was wearing a hockey mask with a blades melee weapon. Would have fit the theme, you think the crazy Ai is defeated until it’s too late! Lol

This quest is nuts. I like the helmets. Laughed a lot. ps. I found it by mistake. I got a pop-up message that said "listen to the broadcase: FAILED" so I failed that part of the quest and just went into the madness of the hotel. :)

as much as we hate bug-thesda for their crappy debugging... you cant deny that THIS content made a jab on the rapid AI integration...

I stumbled into the quest. My audio signal was bugged, so I ignored the quest - but while wandering around Boston I stumbled into that Hotel, and voila!!!

Been playing 4 for the first time and found this randomly while doing some exploring. Was very surprised that it wasn't apart of the base game

New theory about who dropped the bombs! It was the AI in the technocratic society! What better way to entertain its guest than to have them survive a nuclear wasteland! What a great idea for a Holloween party!

i like that you can uses a skill check to open the door to the control room if you didnt open any of the other door it a skill check using luck and science.

This was a fun quest and one of the houses in the sanctuary hills that I gave up trying to fix up because building a new building is easier is going to become a haunted house

Got Fallout 4 when it first came out, and just moved nearby a town called New Boston, and on the main road they have a place called Boston Commons, and it's also near the tri-state area of West Virginia, so it makes my mind really wander!

Funny. I panicked after killing the ghouls and rushed to the back door without opening the numbered doors and got an option to use a stat-check to randomly open the door. I think that only happens if you don't read the note, but because I couldn't see anything I never knew about the note until watching this video. I passed the check, which was a Perception check I think, and turned the gas off at that point. Didn't notice the door next to Pratt's Skeleton so I gotta go back and do a double check.

A cautionary tale that's never been more relevant.

Great video! I'll definitely have to put that note about the helmets net to the unstoppables issue and one of the helmets too. Also, one possible reason as to why they didn't manage to figure out the code before dying while you can is that the amount of Halucigen gas in the canister has dropped over time and as such is at a lower concentration than before the bombs. And with how creepy the signal is and the raiders in the area, most people probably just noped out of there before the AI was able to get them. Also, I can't wait until someone eventuly makes a mod the replaces that note with a holotape. We'll probably have to wait until the mod situation is better though with the next-gen update.

hi Oxhorn, i know the most mods dont work now, i hope u make a new fallout playtrough. i love your content and make a new Mod Moster vids like back in the day. this is a new start for the modding community and i hope u play Fallout London when this Mod came out. i started a new play and i like this kind of quests. it was not to hard this quest. i got my the legacy collection when its came out and played Newvegas and all DLCs and now i play F04

Ya know as much as I’m loving the additional/new content I can’t help but feel like it’s repeating the issues some people had with Skyrim’s paid for update wherein creation club content which was previously paywalled was now being handed out for free and people who had previously paid for it essentially ended up wasting their money.

Ah! I was wondering what was wrong with that radio station quest step! I was bouncing all over the map, trying to get it to do something... anything! "Curse you, Bethesda!!!" I think this is my last update quest to finish. Anything to not quite start my last add-on... Far Harbor... because it looks TOO scary (I don't like it when the environment can kill you). Anywho... thanks for the information, Oxhorn... and, as always, thanks for the entertainment! I appreciate it!

This and the Tunnel snakes DLC I have never been able to hear the transmissions, even on the ps4 before. I had kinda hoped some part of the next gen update would make the game actually work, but thats asking a lot of Bethesda. Also I have a recurring issue where objects just can't be clicked on at random, especially in settlements. It's been fun to go back into the game again after so many years, but these basic things not working do get old, especially when nothing had ever been done about it.

Yes Man is to RobCo as Clippy is to Microsoft. He is a built-in feature on the system that probably doesn't work well (knowing their terminals). Most people disable it immediately but the asset is in the files of the O.S. which would be how Benny was able to use his face and why he already had a sarcastic personality. I doubt Benny would take the time to program in a sarcastic interface with House always looming. After typing this out I decided the military face and victor would have been like the other Office helpers (the wizard, Einstein).

I don't know about anyone else, but after only 7[ish] minutes in, I'm detecting a real Fallout '76 "flavor" to this. Nice! =D

The mysterious signal bug didn't stop me from getting the location of the hotel, but it did completely prevent me getting the signal in "early retirement"... the Creation Club quest that gives you the player home on top of the 360 Hub building. So getting one quest for free has cost me one of my Creation Club favourites that I actually paid for.

Hay Mr oxhorn huge fan we've talked on Twitch a couple times. The video you made his excellent however you're missing a huge part of this DLC the actual apparel hats that you can pick up off of the ghouls inside of the hall will allow you to apply ballistic weave to be honest it gives you the best resistances in the game now bringing the Felt hat 115b 110E .. and the Jack O'Lantern masks were a lot higher than the stock Trilby and the three other hats in vanilla game .. I really wish that something was mentioned in the video how these outperform all the base hats that you can apply ballistic weave to .. yes I know it's silly looking what more resistance is more resistance and you said it yourself this is part of the game now. Wish something was mentioned here is all take a look when you upgrade them to Mark 5 you'll see what I'm talking about even the TVs have more resistance resistance. Anyway keep up the great work bro

It’s easy for us, especially given the amount of meds we can get, but these were ordinary people hallucinating out of their minds while trying to see through haze. I honestly wish they played more in the base games into the fact the bombs dropped right before Halloween, really liked this one.

I think it’s perfect especially looking at it realistically because if you’re high, you ain’t getting the passcode down like you’re straight up tripping during that entire game quest line so I feel like nobody’s gonna be able to type in a passcode with like the type of system, I mean it’s easy if you’re just normal, which you are playing a video game but picture your character and all the characters in the game diedpretty good

Isn't this like the..... I think it was Project Snow creation? Just a way to use the idea without adding a player home in an unpaid way, or to not use too many previously released creations at once? The others make sense because they added story and additional power armors and weapons, but with Snow it would be hard to add anything additional to the creation.

I loved this quest. Can't wait until Halloween rolls around in the game and in real life so I can decorate my settlements. Edit: I have my power armor De-Capitalist helmet painted black, with 'please stand by' on the screen. It has its own suit of Enclave power armor to match.

My decapitalist power armor helmet got damaged in battle and even though I have a million pieces of junk (i'm level 50) it just keeps saying that I lack the materials to repair it, but won't tell me what I need. I have to stop wearing it before it breaks or I won't even be able to display it. Does anyone else have that problem?
