I like the black hole in the manga a lot more as it works a little differently. In the manga it kinda just appears and deletes everything it touches and then it disappears as soon as it came. Which then causes hurricane force winds as a huge volume of air was just deleted.
When you can't see the process of how thing is created, it looks even more terrifying. In manga they reacted something like that: - What is happening? - It is... night already? Yeah, I like manga style of this black hole more.
I mean if part of the competition is that your sword breaking means you lose, maybe don’t allow the hero to use his hero sword which is (supposedly) unbreakable while everyone else has to use standard training swords…
Not really. Every student has to prepare their own sword, and Yumiella picked the most durable sword that can be bought with her money. No student try to win by breaking swords, except this one guy who knows he can't win.
The students in sword department really made a good choice since they have no chance to win at all and her single mistake can result in heavy injuries.
This was an episode I didn’t understand because it didn’t seem to have any purpose to the story. At least not the anime adaptation version. Haven’t read the manga so it may be beneficial towards the story as a whole, but anime adapted story wise; it serves no purpose.
In the manga they essentially tricked her into 'performing' by dangling the first place as a "increases dark power by 10%" or something (which would be useless to everyone else naturally) so she immediately goes for it, since its her and they used her as a sorta stage prop to show their academies power or something? I think
