When I was in Vietnam (1966-68), I played harp when not in combat and loved it. However, now, I’m learning how little I knew and so very much appreciate your teaching me 55 years later to play again and with a lot more style. I’m no Popper or “Hope Dealer”, but what fun. Thank you very much

Thank you for this unbelievable rendition of the Greatest song ever written. A challenge !! starting this song solo and bring in a hundred more harmonica players, much like the bag pipe versions do. Make the hair on back of your neck stand up brother style.

Lt is a great picker and singer. Please pass along my appreciation. I’m gonna learn this version of the solo along with the others you showed on the other video. Great stuff. This rendition is very refreshing. Also, KILLER AND AUPER TASTEFUL BACKUP FILLS BROTHER. Even for a little Terry McMillan feel toward the end.

Can you tell me what Hawaiian slack key is? I’ve never heard of that What key harp is this, C in 2nd position (G)?

Open tuning. Same like the delta blues guys use. I can't remember which specific tuning he was using for this vid, but open G is probably most common.
