Yes obviously he is.....but he should sign his projects wisely.....he signs most of the films which do not have good script.....for eg. Big bull, bol bachchan
I think it just depends upon which actor do you frame for a particular character . Every actor has amazing amount of potential in them , its the job of the director to get that ability out of that actor. Whether it be Varun , Arjun or Abhishek they have atleast one film in their lives in which they totally suited the character they played. If you would have seen Omkara nobody would have thought of Saif Ali Khan in a negative role but see what a director can do. Vishal Bhardwaj probably gave us the all time best performance as a villain till date . Or if you would have seen Guru , Abhishek bachhan really made us believe that he was Dhirubai Ambani indeed . Ranveer singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali films as bajirao or khilji. The directors actually did an amazing job , nobody would have thought of these actors giving such amazing performances and that too in these roles !!
Unpopular Opinion : Abhishek Bacchan is unfairly under-rated. He's got the wit and also the craft for acting. And he deserves mych more love than the criticism that often unnecessarily comes his way.
Couldn't agree more. Think it's got more to do with the fact that he's the son of Amitabh Bachchan. Arguably, the greatest actor/entertainer this country has ever produced. The bar set by his dad is way too huge such so that anybody is a novice next to him. The comparisons/expectations were always gonna be unfair
4 reasons he is much better than Slaman Khan 1. He is talented actor and natural actor no overacting- Guru,Yuvaa, Bunty babli, Bluffmaster, Ludo, Raavn, Bob biswas 2. He is polite and down to earth 3. He is married to Ashwarya 4. He has no controversies
We never realize how lucky Aishwarya is to have such an amazing, good looking and grounded person as a husband and life partner....Abhishek is a rockstar in the way he thinks and vocalizes his thoughts !!!
A person can have so much self confidence only when he has a supporting family.understanding and togetherness in a family plays the major role in making impossible things possible.
Never thought, Abhishek Bacchan can motivate me that much. Didn't expected so much honesty from him either. I didn't knew, he has definitely a rich mindset and it will surely led to a rich life.
i have been a failure all my life ..been arrested for around 5 times ...forced to resign from my job..and now i have operating a store which is running at 50% loss..but still i have hope that if i try i will become something in life
An actor with supremacy and such a diplomat! They way he politely replies to the trolls is just so respectable! He really has a different style of acting and has done really good films! People should just think beyond nepotism and respect talented artists like him.
I saw this video a few days ago and came back to comment how impactful abhishek's words were "never have a backup plan" all this time i thought the reason for my failures till now was i wasn't working hard enough but actually after thinking about what abhishek said i realised the real reason was that i had back up plans which lead to me not being serious enough about my goals because a voice inside me was telling me "even if i fail it wouldn't be the end of the world" but no! having a backup plan is the first step to failure its either you win everything or lose everything. Thank you so much abhishek for sharing your wisdom 🙏
It depends on the context, Abhishek can say that because he knows he won't go a day without starving even if he doesn't have any income. That's not the case for the average Indian, so if you quit your job and decide to start a business, always remember that you need food and shelter and that you can't always rely on your parents for money like Abhishek can. However, I understand what he is saying and resonate with his idea that if we have an easier back up plan, we will naturally fall back and quit our main plan when things get hard. Powerful words!
I don't watch Bollywood movies and from the comments it sounds like he is a good actor, this man is underrated. He has the spirit, humility and knows how to stand up for himself without becoming victim of the trolls. That's how it should be done.
For this guy to stay positive most of the times is crazy hard. Most would have perished. This guy is alive and kicking. Oh and btw he is better than most in bollywood.
He is the most underrated actor in Bollywood IMO. I started loving him more after seeing his interviews. The quick wits, honest answers -- things like this is what made me realise how amazing he is.
To be in his shoes not an easy task ! Abhishek is a strong willed man who cares for his family and has never given up , no matter the pitfalls .. his journey inspires in many ways
Though its not mentioned here, KBC was the biggest help Amitabh sir got in recovering from financial crisis ( he said in interview) along with mohabattein n other movies which worked
See every hero has its downfall .One can not be a superstar for ever.Literally after around 1985 his stardom began to wane .So he opened ABCL which made movies that featured Amitabh ji in those as heros. But back to back those turned out to be flops .So he became bankrupt and that time Akshy, Sahrukh, Salman , Amir etc were already new crazes. If you see " Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" Govindas role was more important as Govinda was a hit hero of 90s.So in the end he realized ,in order to survive it would be better to act in character roles, not in leading roles anymore. That is how he got the role in Mohabatein and started acting again in charector roles...
@@srishtimalik1381 Once you become star and once the adulation gets into you, and if you get abscessed with it, you certainly will become depressed and if you consider it as a thing which comes naturally and goes away naturally too, then you will be fine. Think about Rajesh Khanna who saw stardom like none has seen so far .But he had wrong notion that every movie will work for sure .So after few movies which did not work well , he became depressed without focusing on future. So it became disastrous for him and lost everything. Amit ji lost too but in his case it went away gradually after trying to get back his old stardom so much when it did not work at all, he found it prudent to act in character roles which obviously helped him to survive and make moneys.
@@gourabmukhopadhyay7211 I read Rajesh Khanna's biography. Truth is his attitude, wrong group of friends led to his downfall coupled with smoking and irritable nature
I respect his attitude, he is good actor too. When he and his father talk openly about it. It resonates the fact that all go through ups and downs in life. And motivates million others to keep their hope. That this too shall pass. Who cares if his movies didn't work like the khans. Sometimes, it's not just about ur hardwork. Its about timings, naseeb, luck. Hare Krishna
Amitabh bacchan is severely underrated Bunty aur Bubli was an amazing movie, but unfortunately the general Indian populace is hostile to good films and real talent.
I seriously don’t care that he left BU to help his dad. All I know is that he is a very good actor. Bonus is his great up-bringing. I wish to see more of his work.
Amitabh bachan was very hardworking during 200 to 2010. Multiplied movies he was working on at a time. When younger actors were slowing down, he was doing more and more films...he was helping himself and and as well as industry.
Sounds like a story that every middle class, lower middle class goes through. It was not as if AB was in hand to mouth situation. AB was lucky that late Amar Singh and Yash Chopra helped him out. Many other actors and music directors ended up in poverty.
Yes, Man Abhishek Bacchan is unfairly under-rated. He is extremely talented man. He deserves more man. Got damn give him more chance to show his talent.
Nearly at the same time he also got KBC. I was in class 7th when Mohabbatein and KBC was released. Both turned out to be blockbuster. And then he never looked back. He bacame more commercial, did many advertisements as if he wanted to save for the next 7 generations.
He wanted money for all his debts.Had he not chosen to act in charector roles, and desperately kept wanting to act in lead roles which he did through out 90s , all of which were flops , it would have more disastrous for him.He literally realized that in order to survive one has to stop acting in lead roles as superstardom can not be there for ever...
you don't understand, when you are rich and everything is crashing, you get into debt. Continuing his education would result in him continuing and furthering his fathers debt. You also become accosted to a certain lifestyle.
So reassuring to know , irrespective of who you are - we all go through something similar !! I have liked him as an actor and now as a person for being so honest ..
Fuck man this guy is so dangerously true. I have recently experienced what he said. When you have a backup, your goals are over. Now the backup becomes your destiny.
Disagree on the backup bit. There's no issue in having no backup for him because of his background. Most middle class people don't take risk of not having a backup because they know they'll end up on footpath if they fail and of course AB doesn't have to think of ending up on a footpath because of the connections and network he got in high and elite.
yeah i agree that was bs but in his defense i think what he was trying to say is when ppl go back to comfort zone or ppl not wanting to come out of it hence self sabotaging or not taking things seriously.
I have always liked abhishek since childhood. The role of prem he played in Mein Prem Ki Dweewani hoon such a calm sweet boy is hard to play but the innocence he showed in that film. I felt in love with that. Guru, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Bluffmaster, All is Well, Yuva, Dus, Manmarziyaan. He has played so many good roles. I never knew he was not appreciated. For me he was always great. All actors have some movie where they're doing just cringe stuff but there are good films too. When I entered college that's when I got to know he was never appreciated which honestly broke my heart. He has his own charm.
He's Gem and gentlemen in behaviour... many trolling him for without a reason but he's always take them with smiling face in my opinion he's succesful human being...
I'm not a star kid but me and my father has the exact same relationship...sometimes we don't agree but never stopped supporting each other... I'm the most lucky guy I guess...
He is really a talented actor..I watched his guru 20 to 30 times..the court scene in the climax was really awesome..hope to see more good movies from him
Our country should be proud of this guy who's doing every bit to actually make his parents proud just the way it's said in the books and I dnt know why some people are so harsh to him. He's got looks, skills, good nature, character and I appreciate his efforts so much...
Abhishek bacchan might not give us successful box office hits, but one thing we all should acknowledge that he is a very good actor. Just watch his acting as Bob Biswas.
His words made me clear what to do with my career.. No one can make me understand about my career but now I understand thanks to him for such an experience sharing with public
It mustve been insanely tough for Abhishek all the way to come out of the shadow of such greats back home, but I admire his maturity wit and humility despite so much in terms of trolls over expectation debacles etc that he has been subjected to. I also genuinely appreciate the fact that he has done a fabulous job with Jaipur Pink Panthers and yes I support the fact that he is the Big B of OTT. He is a thousand time better actor than the Dhawans , Kapoors and even some khans and am sure he will make it big v v v soon like his father made it to the pinnacle after a bunch of box office misses in his early career.
I can’t tell how much I have adored him since his first movie.. he is much better actor than most of the star kids. Poor guy had to face criticism all through his acting career. It’s high time, he should be given the respect he deserves. More power to you 👊
Well said Abhi.. such a brave action you have taken despite of being in such a mess! You’re so right , when life hits you hard you have to start from the basics.. totally agreed!!!
Abhishek is just stuck in the wrong industry. I think he was amazing in Bob Biswas. And many people may contradict but I believe his best performance was in Bol Bachhan. He just needs to work on good films.
Abhishek is a good man media feeds us that boy born with golden spoon and whatever his career is of his father ..It time to change perception about abhishek ..
