On June 18, 2021 in Florida, officers responded to a trespassing call at an apartment complex. The landlord reported that a woman was trying to claim residency in one of her vacant apartments. The landlord stated that the apartment had been empty on June 6 when her plumber had gone in to start a project, but upon re-entering the apartment on June 18, the plumber found an unknown female inside saying she lived there. When an officer arrived on scene, the suspected squatter had left the scene, but shortly thereafter, the woman came down the street yelling that she lived there. The landlord asked the officer to trespass the woman. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
