Hey Grey! There's this game where you use ever more ridiculously powerful guns to fight back an alien invasion after they drop Giant Ants all over the planet. It's called Earth Defense Force 5, and it's fun as hell. Use the Airraider to blow them away with mortar strikes, Space Lazers, 135 millimeter bombardments from the AC130 circling the area, and summon mechsuits. Use the Ranger to shoot the alien scum with machineguns, shotguns, sniper rifles, rockets, missiles, or any other handheld weapon, use the Fencer to become prototype iron man and dual wield gatling guns, Grenade launchers, small cannons, pretty much any big gun, or use the Wingdiver to fly over the battlefield and fire cool energy weapons. It's a great game and just your type of ridiculous, I think you would enjoy it. It also has like, 50 bucks of DLC dedicated solely to adding anime women to the game's textures, because why not.
