Everyone loves a Good Burnout.. Unfortunately they don't always go according to plan with Tyre Fires, Rods Out or the dreaded Wall Hit.. Here's a compilation of some of the best action I've filmed over the past 12 months...
I hereby crown Australia the absolute king of the burnout! I have never seen a better display of burnouts of the sick variety. Sat here memorized for the last ten minutes. Holeee she-it!
I pride myself for being part of the car culture in California. This makes us look like we ride little peddle trike bikes from when we were kids. Absolutely badass!!!!
Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars worth of carnage in the name of entertainment. Entertained me, that's for sure! The Aussies must be world champions in the sport of burnouts! Anthony
+anthony851 aww c'mon , people need entertainment. Also, billions that goes into reality shows, or maybe even trillions that goes into wars (yeah, those are reality shows too) dont count right?
Hey, I wasn't complaining! Look at channel, most of the videos involve the conversion of fuel into noise. As I said the Aussies must be world champions of the burnout. Anthony
I'm an Aussie chick who loves fast cars and burnouts etc. Unfortunately, some silly Aussies though, tend to enjoy doing burnouts in suburban streets. And they have no respect for the residents in the area. Especially when children could possibly be outdoors during the day or it's late at night and most folks are sleeping. It's a shame that those idiots can't go to tracks where they can do whatever they want with their cars, legally. Instead of just fanging burnouts at roundabouts and so on, whenever it rains or randomly whenever they're bored.
@@ozlass7778 fuck up, they aren't on tracks because they aren't open half the time and when they are open they get told off for bullshit, ain't their fault. Obviously anyone doing skid in the middle of busy roads should be shot but not anyone on quiet streets
I gotta hand it to the Aussies, (Michigan USA here). Many are a very "adventurist people" and these guys have a lot of experience building a nice car several times. Many people think it is a waste, and they may have a point to a "minimalist mindset". But it's just a voluntary transfer of wealth, (along with exciting entertainment), to the economy of the aftermarket industry, and they are not complaining. :) I like the Aussies. Those guys know how to live life and have fun!
Love burnout machines but god damn the stress they go through is almost heartbreaking when you know how long they take to build and how much they cost. Just, wow...
I will say, cringing as I watch some of these spills (largely the impacts with solid concrete), that I am impressed that some of these maniacs can keep a track of where they are in the skid pan with the volume and density of smoke some of them produce!
I find it hilarious the first vid, a huge fire breaks out from the car, and the one guy stumbles over to extinguish it hahaha. At Summernats even the smallest little fire and 5 guys come sprinting over to put it out
So much hate from complete ignorance, let me try to explain to anyone who isnt Australian what they are actually seeing. These cars are burnout cars, specifically built for burnout competitions, they are not show cars. Some of these may also be drag cars. Burnout cars are usually built by hot rodders or drag car builders who are heavily into the drag racing scene, and this is kind of like a side project they do purely for fun and to let loose. Anyone who thinks they 'have no control' just doesnt understand that this is not just dudes showing off in their pride and joy, this is a burnout competition, with prize money, and these cars and purpose built to be absolutely thrashed and put on the best show they can. They dont spend hundreds of hours building these things to try and take care of em, they are built to be driven like this. Every one of these drivers would have other cars they work on, that they would never drive like this. This is sort of like a sub culture within the car scene in Australia.
Burnoutsa are one thing, small things please small minds BUT the deliberate fires are dangerous for competitors, officials and has been proven the public. Plus the idiots who deliberatly crash,,,, WTF are they on.
Either way, hundreds of thousand Dollars are spent on deliberately destroying Cars for „fun“. Money that people obviously can‘t possibly have worked hard to earn (easy come, easy go.) Also, money that could have been spent so much better on poor people where they would have created joy, Hope and real happiness for so many, instead of destruction and pollution for a few minutes of enjoyment for a little group of spoiled spectators and „competitors“.
LDN, no one is deliberately crashing. Most burnouts do not end in a crash. You have to exceed your limits to know what your limits are. These competitors are trying to win.
Obviously you don't know how many of these old cars are in Aus, not to mention these guys buy rusted ones, reinforce them and do whatever they please. Please feel free to pay $500 - $16000 to save a cars life.
The engines in some of these cars are upwards of $16k, not to mention the man-hours put into body and paint. It's a total waste in my eyes, but if you have the money and this floats your boat, to each their own I guess.
Just reading the comments and I think people have forgotten the headline "WHEN BURNOUTS GO BAD" these guys obviously don't hit walls on purpose and maybe with a tyre fire , just keep up it and put on a show . Sometimes shit just happens . Maybe watch some videos when Aussie burnouts go to plan , it's bloody impressive horsepower, driver skill and great entertainment. Cheers
Pete, 100% correct. Most cars do not crash. A little fire is ok (possible paint damage - easily fixed) but owners do not want to damage their cars, but this is a highly skilled sport and things dont allways go to plan. All the ignorant yanks posting here should look up the rules, before typing rubbish. The competitors want to win, and points are deducted for tagging the wall, and for excessive fire. And yes, yank burnouts are the lamest thing.
You might get to meet all these thick headed bogans who blow big bank loans in order to produce some tyre smoke so they feel loved by dipshits in the crowd, a pretty odd yet sad form of feeling wanted. And if you're really lucky you might just get to meet their personality compensating pets too, no doubt some thickheaded brainless staffy or down syndrome Bull terrier etc
My beach city in California: "you cant have fires at the beach anymore because it pollutes too much". Australia: "Send out another car!" California bites!
I swear it seems like the fire extinguisher guys never remember to pull the pin or grab the hose first. They just run up and expect the extinguisher to just magically put the fire out.
Yeah, like they don't do this shit in pretty much EVERY country on the Planet.... And it's stupid if you ask me, a waste of money. Guess you'd have to be 16 with to conception of money and work to enjoy watching assholes flush all this money down the toilet in 5 seconds. But hey if these idiots want to destroy their rides for 5 seconds of fame, and by fame I mean, "a bunch of people that paid $10 to watch you ruin an expensive car, and clapping and laughing AT their dumbasses", then so be it.
Not to burst your bubble, but according to wiki, both the current top fuel and Pro modified records were set Down Under as well.. And the fastest pass down a 1/4mile dragstrip ever happened in England in 1984. :P But the important thing is we're all having fun :) Personally, I like corners lol.
These people have to be truly desperate for attention to abuse their vehicles for a few seconds of applause from an audience who clearly cares nothing about them or their vehicles. Yeah, wave hands in the air. That's a real accomplishment.
+Walter Grace People in the states burnout before they line up and race so the tire sticks better and they're not spinning all the way down the track, however the Aussies burnout to tear the cars up because they are fucking idiots.
Walter Grace Yea,but the point of burnouts on a racetrack is to warm the tires so they stick and hook better so they launch faster etc.not just to be a jackass.
