Swoops is disgusting, Pete Marivitch only had 3 years of eligibility and he averaged over 44 points a game every year he played! Can't anyone compare to his accomplishments and he didn't have a 3 point line in his era, if he did he would have averaged over 55 points a game! So, what you're saying is that the men's college teams back in the mid-to-late 60's is far superior to that of the current WNBA players? Until verified facts are presented, I'll let you have your OPINION! Highly doubt, even for as good as Pistol Pete was during his ERA, he would have crushed scoring records in today's more physical game, with far better conditioned and athletic players!

I don't agree. Clark is a 5 on 5 savant seeing open lanes before they occur, both passing and scoring. She would probably do OK one on one, but her true genius is with a court occupied by 9 other players. Just my opinion. :)

Another reason Clark is so popular is because of HOW she plays - she has inspired the whole team to be better. Some of them are becoming stars in their own right and she supports them all the way. She's a "We" person, not an "I" person; people like that because Life is like that.

There isn't much I could use to support you are wrong. I've been trying to figure out just how good she is and will be. When I look at other players there are others that top most of her individual stat categories but Clark is more complete at good stats across categories and impressively so. She has forced players on her team to be much more aware of the floor, where they are, where they will be so they won't flub a perfect pass from Clark. Clark is drawing defenders out of positions and by that setting up teammates so many times it forces them to be more aware. They have to go faster and be more aware because of Clark and having a very positive effect on her team. The Fever pull off a few plays against Griner a few days ago that left her bamboozled and flat footed. She could only get her arm up as she turned to watch the players back putting in an easy layup. The Fever's second one was somewhat similar for an easy layup with Griner watching. The Fever are more on all cylinders now and hot. I watch the Suns v Sparks last game. There was a lot of individual briliance in the game but not much from either functioning continually as a team. I think the Fever can take out the Suns with the Clark effect.

CC didn't make the Olympics because of biases, hate, and jealousy. CC is THE class act. It is hard to believe people like Angel Reese with her family's sports background could be so insecure, hateful, and intimidated. Same here. But instead of hate, I'd say I'm more on the disappointed spectrum with DT. She could have easily taken her narrative in a more positive direction, but instead made a conscious decision to be petty, envious, and insecure. AKA, a bully. She blew a perfect chance to market herself with CC and make millions. So ultimately, a dumb bully. DT was shocked at Brink's ACT score being so high, so no surprise. UCONN's admissions are obviously WAY below Stanford's, but now I wonder, how far below?

Clark has a long history of being impressive and growing each year. Her college record is amazing. She has only been in the WNBA for a very short time but looking impressive there also. She is already amazing, very amazing in basketball and looking like she may be a challenge beyond basketball in the future.

I keep saying this - sports evolve over time. Olympic records are broken nearly every year as equipment, high tech clothing, venues, rules change. Check out Eric Heiden's gold medal speed skating times at Lake Placid in 1980 where the events were held outdoors in all weather. Now check out the world and Olympic records set indoors in perfect, climate controlled state of the art conditions. Caitlin is setting and breaking records based on today's rules. If it is so easy, how come nobody else has done it?

Not “our kind”. Words by britany griner the man who shouldn’t be in WBA….Is WHY Caitlin is not accepted. It always happens to the good-guys- it is she who is harassed b/c she is normal!
