@@johnmontgomery4923 so why can't he be an upstanding and refined gentleman saloon owner as he is portrayed on WCTH ...perhaps just maybe a one in a million for our Elizabeth ???? As Elizabeth says..."it is only fiction" !!!

@@sherrelhauhe7791 Because it doesn't work that way, Women didn´t associate themselves with saloons. They Never went in a saloon unless they were soiled Doves. They were gentlemen clubs. Saloons were hastily built to accommodate Trappers, miners, soldiers, and railroads. Elizabeth would never have left a life of luxury. Victorian women married up. Even if it meant marrying their first cousins.

@@sherrelhauhe7791 North West was the same thing. It is an outstanding series. She wouldn´t leave running water and the bathroom. For a tub and outhouse.
