Cricket batters keep their hands relaxed and low, because they also have to move their feet to adjust to the bouncing balls and they can hit/defect the ball in any 360 direction!
Except I would've lol. Looks like you haven't watched Cricket much. A "full toss" or let's say a "pitch" is the easiest/worst delivery a bowler could bowl/pitch. 9 out of 10 times it's getting knocked out of the park.

Rugby union is a much greater and more honourable sport than soccer with far bigger and quicker athletes..soccer pencil necks will get destroyed in rugby..
Thing is, you don't always have to swing for home runs, so cover drive could pick up a run. Baseball batters don't have all the shots cricket batters have.
