Of course people can change, but it usually doesn’t happen as quickly as in movie and tv. But also, I was so devastated, they really were one of Disney’s strongest ships😢

More seasons was supposed to happen but it never did, if it did we would have seen chad be fully redeemed.

It does make it sadder and I recognize that this was probably because of the show being canceled, but a part of me is glad that this is how it ended. So many shows promote the idea that you end up with your first love, More shows need to show a character arc where you're a kid, you fall in love, it ends, you grow, and you find someone who fits who you've grown into.

As dumb as this is, at least Cody and Bailey--whose dynamic I also loved--succumbing to jealousy and insecurity at what was supposed to be a high point in their relationship has more logic to it. * Not to mention Chad immediately knew what he did was wrong: he left the award behind.

@@OfficialHummerTV Other worse things were that he got so nervous he threw up on her and another is he blamed her for the date going wrong when really it was a joint venture. Also, his saying she didn't care about the Falls was more important than their date when they hadn't even had it yet. All these things and the stunt double were worse. * The award is a very public altercation though and stemmed in the rivalry between the shows which we thought we were moving past, meaning that while it still doesn't quite work, you can almost see how it would. Also, his jeopardizing the bet with Mel by hiring people to cheer everything Sonny did didn't help either--even though it came from a place of trying to do right by her. Could probably find other dumb things and yes, this was something that ended up being pretty personal while she and Chad were dating, but it still doesn't feel right. * It could also just be that I'm tired of the Season 2 breakups on Disney at this point since their only real reason for being is so the couple has to basically start all over again. They're cheap and they're annoying.

That's the thing about the last straw, it doesn't have to be the worst thing, just one more thing in a long list of things that makes you say "You know what, I'm done".
