Hey everyone hope you're all doing well, just like I promised I'm making shorts covering both Yugioh 5D's and Yugioh Zexal today because I couldn't fit them both in the same short, but hey that just means more content for you guys so that's a good thing 👍Anyway, after today I won't be posting shorts for a couple weeks because I want to focus on my long form video that's coming up so be prepared for that one and I hope to see you all there 😊

actually 5d's takes place from 2021 - 2023, in the episode where Yusei meets Antinomy you can see a banner outside the building reading 2021 and later durning the wrpg finals there are banners outside reading 2023

Well yugi is still a name people remember in bonds beyond time and besides you don't think k there wouldn't be a statue of the king of games if he did die in zero reverse? And jaden was probably still going around the world when that happened

I doubt it. Pretty sure they're still alive to some extent as we know Yugi, Tea and Joey eventually go on world tours. I doubt Kaiba is dead in the anime canon and Jaden is certainly still alive because he's constantly traveling the world, so there's no reason he'd still be in Domino as, most of GX and all their characters, their stories don't even take place in Domino City. Might be a chance that Tristan, Duke and possibly Serenity were killed, but they're also side characters so their status doesn't impact the story enough to be mentioned.

THANK YOU! Man finally someone that makes an accurate timeline video. Also, I believe the reason yugi and kaiba don't appear is because... Well, you know zero reverse? The incident that killed everyone in the city yugi was in? Well there you go, you have your answer (it's pretty grim but that's kind of the point of Zero Reverse: it's absolutely disastrous). Judai's probably alive... Somewhere on the globe though

Pegasus survived and died of old age off screen in 5ds. And also yusei never even mention yugi died in bonds beyond time when they were looking up the past

I think this is just my theory When the event of season 4 GX happened, Ener D was already on development and somewhat halted due to the world of darkness which Yusei's dad and Goodwin brothers are one of those victims. When Judai defeated Darkness, everyone return and the project was resume at least until 2009 or 2010 when Zero Reverse happened and also, the birth of Fudo Yusei which where the story of Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds begins. So in my Opinion, 5ds happened around 2027 and ended in 2029

So can we all agree that Yugi definitely died during the Zero Reverse event? Because theres no fucking chance that Yugi wouldn't intervene in the whole Dark Signer/Crimson Dragon bs that was going on, *especially* since it would've taken place in the ruins of his home-town.

Tbh, I genuinely wonder what happened to Jaden. I mean, I am pretty sure anime-Yugi also has the power of some kind to interact with real monsters, but Jaden would be much more effective in helping with issues like these. I know it is one of these "don't think about it, it is not about the old eras"-things, but it is still very noticable in how these shows just do not interact beyond Ushio scuffing the timeline by making 5DS take place earlier than ideal. Meanwhile, GX at least had the wrapper of "old characters ARE involved. It's just that in the case of Season 4, they just simply could not respond in time, got wiped out or were busy simply defending themselves from the onslaught".

Well, we saw during the WRGP that different supernatural factions will defer to one another, or settle things by a duel at worst (Team Ragnarok). Since Yugi already met Yusei when he time-traveled, he might just trust that Yusei can handle it (or not want to take the risk of screwing with the timeline himself by interfering with Yusei's development, since Yusei has to go back in time to stop Paradox).

Ever scene, the events of arc-v with time and space being shattered all events are cannon. We have the ainme timeline. The manga timeline and finally the DSOD timeline. Which goes directly to links and ignores all the other series. It's like DC comics agreeing that all their events matter and are cannon.

Alternative main timeline with kaiba not dying (not DSoD ending) finding a new way of advancing the world (remember KC was an arms/army company) and blowing up the world cous he couldn’t harness chaos energy and made new energy source while making new Summoning mechanic (also reason why kaiba doesn’t have xyz blue eyes not counting the “Legendary” ones which were prize cards that you can check the text being attack directly and win means wining match 2/3 and Yugi monsters do have a couple of XYZ monsters but no Synchros)

You shouldn’t try to fit Zexal into the timeline because it and all series after it legit do not take place in the timeline that goes from DM to 5ds. It’s not even that it couldn’t fit, it just legit doesn’t happen in that timeline.

Judai isn't ever mentioned in the present of the series; Yugi dunno why he is apparently dead, maybe the cause is Zero Reverse, but Ushio a bully that was against Yugi in season 0 and at the start of the manga, is also the adult police officer, who is againts Yusei and later became his friend

My head cannon tells me it’s at least 70 years after. There no way yugi and especially Jaden with yubels powers would allow the city to be destroyed and the dark signers to run amok. Yugi maybe died in that explosion which makes me hate 5ds because wtf what an anticlimactic death tot he king of games. ‘The real problem is Jaden since the dude has literal powers and has to be in his 30s when it happened and he’s no where to be found? Nothing makes sense unless 5ds is its own timeline which had a yugi but not a juda/jaden??

In official Yugioh character profiles on the official website, each character has a list of every episode they appeared in. Characters who appeared in multiple shows like Yugi, Kaiba, and Pegasus are listed as appearing in both shows. Trudge, however, is not listed as appearing in the original Yugioh despite his single manga appearance making it into the anime, implying that they are different people.
