He’s not in the GOAT conversation… never was and never will be.. he’s an exact replica of MJ but worse… how tf is that the GOAT when there’s literally a better version of him?
When KG does the finger around the ear (signalling he crazy) is a testament to how respected Kobe mentality was to other ballers. KG is know for trash talking but he knows Kobe and respected him because he know that just adding wood to Kobe fire.
It’s a symbol of how crazy Kobe was. It’s like the pot calling the kettle black but even the pot had to admit the kettle was painted with the worlds blackest black paint 😂
I think you are spot on....I don't even watch sports on TV anymore.....it's all rigged for the bottom line anyways. The NFL has always been rigged nonsense
No. They just don’t make many players like that in general. The list was MJ, Kobe, end of list. Maybe Larry Bird but his trash talk was never finding reasons to hate an opponent lol
For anyone wondering about the details of that game: (March 4th 2012) Kobe gave him an efficient 33 points in a game the lakers won 93-83. Dwayne Wade had 16 points, 5 turnovers, and fouled out trying to guard Kobe.
I feel like nobody trains and hoops like that no more, once they to into the NBA. Since they don't want to risk any type of long or permanent injury, taking them out the NBA. Weather they win or lose, they still get paid really well that's why.
If you look into his work ethic and practice schedule, it makes it even more true. Dude was sleeping 4-6 hours a night every night just so he could train from 4 am to 10pm
I remember that game Kobe wasn't doing nothing but showing Wade up in the all star game wade got mad and fouled Kobe hard, and some people thought it was a dirty play especially for it to be an All-Star game. Wade knew that Mamba mentality was going to light him up when they played
KG had a similar experience with Michael Jordan and Kobe had the same mindset like MJ. He could very easy and understandable relate to the story from Wade. If you tease the devil then you have to go through the hell
the way I tear up when I see these vids is crazy. smh I don't even mourn people I know that hard . shows the impact. I didn't have a dad growing up and let me share something real sad but special with the rest of the world cus once kob died we had to share with the rest of the world but being born and raised in Los Angeles Kobe 2pac and nip was my dad! they raised me! so it's deeper the feeling when you hit that freeway once you touchdown that empty feeling is telling we will never be the same ! but so pleased to had known these Legends of real men and Gods.
Kobe made being abnormal a very awesome trait. Man I miss this dude. If I can’t seem to accept what happened I’m not sure how Vanessa has/will ever be able to 😢
The goat kept coming. Kobe lived for that. Ppl don’t get why he the goat man. That mind man to prove and be better to put in the work against all odds and win that man the goat. Period if it’s not Kobe then it’s jordna ain’t no LEBRON. Awesome player athlete goat of his time. All time goats Kobe jordna period
This is why basketball players love them some kobe. He was ridiculous in all ways you can think of, and if you ever caught him lacking he was just another student of the game, learning and adapting. Man imagine him as a mentor to some of the people in the league now 😭 thats the closest to mj we'll probably see for a while
Always loved the respect these 2 had for each other and wade has gone out of his way to give kobe his flowers since he died too That redeem team doc killed me when wade was like “third best sg? Ok ill give u kobe, ill give u kobe, but manu?” Lol
Kobe was a incredible player. When he passed Artest the ball and got his 5th championship that impressed me more than anything he ever did, but at that moment he said he was injured and he was hiding the fact while he was competing.
