Deberías ver cuando le ganó a Nadal en cuartos de final en el Australian Open en 3 set consecutivos, fué un partidazo, el Feña hizo pedazos a Nadal a puros derechazos, respetando tu opinión, para mi ese fué tal vez el mejor partido de González.

@@emilioramirezmarquez noo el revés con puro slice tal vez si tacticamente haya sido de lo mejor que jugo. Pero no lucia tanto con el revés porque lo metia adentro o sólo tiraba con passings en este partido con federer de revés devolvía adentro y ganaba puntos con paralelos

Yo diria que fue buena y mala suerte a la vez, mala por el lado que quiza habria llegado todavia mas lejos si ellos no hubieran existido, pero si lo vez por el lado del gozo personal, es buena suerte de que se dio el lujo de jugar contra ellos en su Prime y encima vencerlos en torneos importantes, yo creo que gonzalez está totalmente satisfecho (encima darse el lujo de ser campeon olimpico)

¡PARTIDAZO! . Gonzalez le ganó a los mejores tenistas de la historia (en partidos oficiales) y a varios que eran número uno en su momento. Derrotó a Federer, Nadal y Sampras. Además tiene tres medallas olímpicas. Para mi gusto, el mejor tenista chileno de la historia, porque para ser grande hay que ganarle a los mejores y en su mejor momento. Además, todo un caballero. Merecía llegar al número 1.

@@mitofree7283 Claro, pero Alcaraz es el actual número 1 y aunque ha jugado espectacular creo que ha tenido algo suerte para llegar a ser 1, principalmente por el veto a Djokovic, descontándole puntos brutales, un Zverev lesionado recuperándose y finalmente un Nadal reventado por sus antiguas lesiones. Si González que fue 5 del mundo hubiera estado en ese momento y oportunidad, seguramente hubiera sido 1, pero hay épocas y momentos, a González le toco una completamente difícil, en comparación a otros números 1 del mundo.

Simply love these highlights! They show every break, set point even though those points are not so attractive, but they must be shown in every highlights, since they are extremely important moments of the match! For instance, some of the GS highlights don't show, for example, set point, because it was a double fault or some poor rally! Show every break and set point!

Tuvo el privilegio y la maldición de jugar en tiempos de Federer y Nadal. Privilegio por poder jugar con esos grandes, incluso con Sampras, Agassi y Djokovic. Maldición por el hecho de jugar en el tiempo de Federer y Nadal te impide llegar más lejos. González con Nadal perdió 1 semifinal y 2 finales. Y con Federer perdió 2 semifinales y 3 finales. No es poca cosa lo limitado que quedó por ese motivo. Este fue probablemente uno de los mejores partidos de su carrera, si no, el mejor.

Que alegría y orgullo me daba ver al Feña compitiendo ante los mejores jugadores del mundo...ante probablemente el mejor de todos los tiempos en este partido. Fernando González no solo me hacía ver y disfrutar el tenis, sino también me hacía vivirlo, de la manera que lo jugaba. Era un jugador muy completo, este partido lo ganó el día de mi cumpleaños, lo recuerdo siempre.

En sud america Nalbandian lo pudo presumir varias veces... es mas en el 2005 le ganmo la final del master cup a 5 sets. Luego Del Potro le ganaria el Us Open 2009 en otro partido epico. Ese mismo 2007 Nalbandian les gano a Federer y Nadal en torneos masters seguidos... EPICO

Hubo un tiempo en que federer y González siempre se topaban en instancias finales. Más veces ganó federer, pero González siempre le hizo partidos jodidos

Qué bacán los partidos de tenis del Feña en esa época wn! Cada remate de González parece que lo hacía con rabia y le tiraba puros misiles a Federer por eso ganó eran con tanta potencia que Federer no alcanzaba a responder.

Instead of slicing the backhand to much like he did against Fed at the AO final 2007 Gonzo was hitting over and flattening his backhand effectively, which I think is a good shot..not comparing to his forehand..maybe his coach Stefanki told him to make that change and it worked..
