Hope and pray we never have to see another video like this. This one however should be viewed by every race organizer and athlete

You’re completely right. Hopefully the world has learned from this disaster and we won’t make the same mistake again. Thanks for the support and be on the lookout for my next story style video which should be out within the next week!

Very interesting and well put together video! How there were not workers at each checkpoint is astonishing. Would have been such a simple and effective way of preventing this. Do we know how many runners were able to complete the race if any? And if none, did most of them stop shortly after No-Mans land? I am surprised no one was able to ring the alarm earlier.

No one made it past the no man’s land. Most runners never even made it that far and turned around and made it down safe. It was the elite runners expected to place in top positions that made it that far and sadly, it was the strongest runners who took the hardest hit that day. Thanks for the support man! Glad you enjoyed this different style video!

Wonder what David Goggins would have done.

Probably finished the race with the 21 runners who collapsed on his back lol

While content is interesting, there are several technical downsides to the video. Very monotonous voiceover and presenter is looking away from the screen to read the script. This completely breaks the story immersion and adds a feeling of an artificial content. Presenter is also very stiff. Try to do few dry-runs to make yourself feel comfortable with a content :) I`d recommend reading through script beforehand and positioning it close to camera at least :)

I completely agree with a lot of what you said. I tried my hardest but I think if I continue with this style video, getting a teleprompter to connect to my tripod will be necessary. Thanks for the tips! I’m sure they will get better as I continue to put out this style of content.

i fully know i'm in the minority, but if one race have to have checkpoints not only with food and water, but to carry your clothes and other accessories, you know this is too much... i even think marathons are stupid and unhealthy, but they are a long tradition and a staple olympic event. anything up to half marathon i'm for and i think it's great. beyond that it's becomming more and more silly imo but who am i to judge

To each their own man! I used to feel the same but once you reach certain mile stones, some people always look for that next challenge. For some, that’s just a faster 5k or half marathon, others it’s going to the extreme 🤷🏼‍♂️. I say as long as you’re out there doing something, ya got my approval lol. Thanks for the support!
