UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou dug deep in his first title defense and won the first fight of his career by decision at UFC 270 against Ciryl Gane Music: "Almost Evil" by Infraction #shorts #ufc #mma
Torn my ass he was getting his ass handed to him on the feet with all that power bumgannou has he turned in to a wrestler to bore the fans to death this guy is a bum and ran from mma altogether now he fights tall boxing retards for cash that suck he's a prostitute looking for cash not competition bumgannou is a joke thiers only one goat and that's Jonny bones the goat 🐐 jones remember that you ducks keep quacking 🤣😂😅
@@tylerrobbins8311he’s dangerous but so is Francis. Heck the Tai win was amazing but Tai just had a war against Gane not that long before that fight and was knocked out in that fight with Gane
You cannot be serious. This was one of the most boring heavyweight fights in years. He took Gane to the ground and didn't do any damage for more than half of the round. This just exposed his lack of skill. He literally skirted by with pure power alone. Jon Jones would have absolutely destroyed Francis and he knows it
@@iliilliliiliilliliiliillil9137 no just no... steroid coke out jon jones yes, jones the boring one, he always fought people smaller than him to, and old as hell past their prime- so meh
@@iliilliliiliilliliiliillil9137 well, then you're looking at it all wrong. Ngannou was known for not being able to wrestle, neither is Gane, but Gane atleast has 3 submissions I assumed he was better grappler than ngannou. Ngannou had a torn knee he could barely make it to the fight and Gane is a lot faster. Ngannou still showed up and somehow was able to completely neutralize Gane to get the win. It was unbelievable
How Is a massive hw picking up another hw shocking lmao I can easily walk up n pick up any hw in the ufc lmao nothing shocking about picking someone up lmfao
It's underrated how intelligent Francis Ngannou is. Seven years ago he only spoke French. He learned English and became fluent in it in a couple of years. He learned all the different elements of MMA. In his early days he would just go in there and throw bombs. His last fight showed his evolved version. That wouldn't have been possible without a good brain behind that brawn. He has reached an ascended level but not his final form yet IMO. He wants to try his hand at boxing. I'm excited to see what spectacles of entertainment he'll give us. He might be the only one to knockout Tyson Fury.
@@zdzmi6799 problems with kids when they learn a new word. They spam that word irrelevant. I texted a 5 words sentence once and i am a keyboard warrior. And to top that i wasn't even talking to him. He came out of nowhere and say keyboard warrior. l 😂🤣😹
@@zdzmi6799 You are DELUSIONAL if you think Ngannou is ever beating Fury. He could possibly evolve to a good intermediate level as a pro boxer. He’s not touching Tyson Fury. Get lost casual.
@@runipaulino6268 It was fairly slow and cautious with roughly 68% of the average significant strikes thrown over a five round heavyweight fight but there were some solid exchanges.
@@user-hc9sk3mg1h agreed, fearless is a bit dramatic but Cyril did get in there and mash it up, there were a few good exchanges all of which Cyrill did very well in.
@@karllhungus2681 huh?? 😆 dude you’re lost your mind. You’re saying Francis won because Ciryl gave up? Francis fought a smart fight and improved his ground game. Meaning they prepared him well. Why the bias man
That’s usually th case with a great man or woman, a champion in general. When we want to give full credit, we just say, if we can bring ourselves to acknowledge it, “This is a great man, with a great team.” Or we acknowledge that Ngannou is part of a great team. Someone has to get in the ring and actually realize the plan, I mean that’s the whole effing point. People want to act like Francis is Frankenstein when he is actually the tip of the spear, the man.The dissonance is staggering.
Yall a bunch of ass lickers, ngannou tripped him ofcoarse he gonna drop hard. Yall ralking like he picked him up lift him overhead then threw him. Lmao, booty lickers...
@@bernardlartims9114 260? he walks around 245-247, Jones is weighting around 250-255 at the moment, almost at the limit without looking fat. You can use google to avoid sounding dumb. There's no way Francis could out wrestle Jones.
Ngl this was incredible to watch live, the fact that his leg was fucked made me think he might lose since he wouldn't be able to keep up with the stand-up of Gane but the way he methodically broke through his attacks and took him down was a masterclass
@@dannyboysaavedra4853 I'm fine with the outcome. Joshua is ok and Fury still has no excuse for how poorly he did against Francis. If you want to back up on Fury's dick go ahead. He's lost weight so he should hit you deeper.
Anthony joshua knocked him out, stiff and out cold toes curled staring up af the ceiling lights gg. Francis reminds me of worldstar victims getting ko'd usman too 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣
What many fail to understand is Francis has not been in the gym or been a fighter from childhood like the others are. He is just applying natural strength and the little he has learned from when he became interested to fight for a career.
Gane started combat sport 7 years ago and mma only 5 years ago from now and he is ranked number 1 right now btw he was training any sports in his 20’s and he is only at the beginning of his career so I agree with you but still people underestimate gane
He didn't adapt. He wrestled because he kept taking damage and couldn't return. This is an age old tactic to win on points. He did no damage on the ground. He got outclassed and relied on his power to skate through the fight
@@iliilliliiliilliliiliillil9137 your casual everyone was saying if he dont ko him in 2 round gane win easy by decision with torn acl he win this fight easy gane strike did any damage so nganou adapts and take him down to win the fight since gane was trying to win by decision
@@micahjohnson138 mabye it would be different in a rematch id love to see it I bet on Francis for the first match cause i was surrpsied he was an underdog vs Gane After watching it though i would 100p switch up and bet Gane in the rematch. I trust hes worked enough on his ground game hed win
@@tonypaellalol stipe didnt shock him..ngannou lean backward while juggling which made stipe thought he hurt him. Even ngannou said later stipe thought he hurt me so he rush which was a mistake i was not hurt.
You can run but you can't hide!! Francis beat the entire MMA industry with this victory. Now he will be paid astronomical amounts of cash to box & goes in the record books for being a man of integrity!!💪🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥳
Don't remember the last time I was that happy to see a fighter win! Francis showed himself to be a true martial artist this fight. A willingness to evolve and adapt and not just rely on the power that had taken him so far. His years of hard work since the first stipe fight showed. I will always respect a martial artist. And that's not mentioning the calibre of man he is outside of fighting. A true warrior. I wish him nothing but the best in life.
That first Stipe fight was one of the best things to happen to him. He had the opportunity to learn a lot from the way Stipe approached the fight. Typically, the fight would be over before he could learn anything from other opponents
An L for Francis, because he turned down a guaranteed 24 Million for 3 fights. If he had won those 3 fights, he could have negotiated a even bigger deal.
@@GoodStuff1992 Like a dude Mike once said, “Just cause you shot Jesse James don’t make you Jesse James.” Francis got revenge on Stipe but that doesn’t change the fact that what Stipe accomplished for the HW division is still much more impressive. Maybe if Francis defended his title a couple more times it’d be debatable but as it stands guys like Stipe & Cain accomplished more as champions than Francis ever has & You have to take that into account. Just cause Conor KOd Aldo don’t mean he’s higher on the GOAT status than Aldo, Weidman beat Silva twice, Don’t mean he’s the MW GOAT over Silva ya kno?
You can’t be serious. I rly like Francis but he looked terrible on the feet( ik he was dealing with a knee injury) and On the ground he kinda just controlled gane because of his strength.
@@karllhungus2681Your talking about stipe not ngannou who was very active before he left, one fight a year best for heavyweights they are bigger and need more rest time just common sense tbh, he gave us amazing moments and may knock fury out and become lineal WBC heavyweight champion I hope it happens he deserves it more than fury and will fight AJ, Wilder, Usky He could end usky with one strike I believe body shot from ngannou will see him crumble he got folded with body shot in his last fight and got gifted a robbery by acting like it was a low blow embrassing better not call ngannou name if upset happens that's a quick night in office for him
So many people were doubting Ngannou before this fight, I remember him being a +350 Underdog on the betting lines, props to him for getting the job done and following his dream in boxing
@@User-mk2xni mean the way he grappled and took him down was insane cuz francis isn't known for being a wrestler. But i do agree gane was outsriking him on the feet
Jesus, that man is a Demi God with that strength. Ate heavyweight shots like nuffin, then he picks up a mammoth of man like nuffin, and throws him like nuffin. Nuff said, Demi God.
@@karllhungus2681 the average heavyweight is larger than the average human. If someone can accomplish a feat that most other humans cannot, yes they are a Demi god/ super human. However that is just an opinion on something that has no scientific definition or basis. All of this is subjective, maybe you don’t think he’s a Demi god but that’s why one might consider him to be. Maybe cris Barron is 4’11 so obviously his opinion on a 6’4 athlete may be a bit skewed who knows…?
Ngannou's last two fights were amazing. Not because he was technically super smooth, precise etc but because his overall evolution as fighter really started to shine. He's more than just a power striker now & it just makes all the more reason why it's sad that he's gone from the UFC now. I do hope the UFC & him can come to terms so he comes back, though I simply wish the best for him so yeah
@@philvalantine8853gane's gameplan against brawler is to keep them at range. Damaged knee or not, gane will literally run away before ngannou was able to load up his punches
This was a seriously impressive display from both fighters. And then Jon Jones jumped up to heavy weight and made gane look like a toddler… I really wish we could’ve seen John Jones fight Ngannou…
If he defeats Joshua. Huge task. Joshua has a dangerous boxing style, leaves little angles with his defense, loads of speed & power and wont take the fight lightly. If i was advising Ngannou i wouldn't have taken this fight. Wait for Fury re-match or Fight Jon Jones instead.
I wish Francis practiced more wrestling. It would have been cool to see how far he would have came. Ik he is known for his knockout power, but just imagine someone as strong as him, with as good of wrestling as someone like Daniel Cormier . Would have been so cool to see.
I wouldnt say no way he can win but he had problems with dc already in the second fight amd reyes beat him in my opinion. If dc would have been as big as john he would have had a big chance beating john. His size made it very hard. Ngannou is bigger than john and I'm sure if he lands as clean as dc jones lights will go out. The power in his punches is impressive
