Frenchie and Kimiko are my favorite relationship on the show. I agree that the moment he saw her, it was like: "Oh, she's the one. I'm supposed to take care of her."

NikkiBell10 When I was watching the SDCC panel for the show that premiered today I was mostly sitting there impatiently waiting for them to talk about Frenchie and Kimiko and they did almost all of the other characters before them. 🙃🙃🙃 They are absolutely the superior relationship on the show. Their connection is so powerful but they’re also really sweet with each other. I love that in the next episode, as soon as Frenchie wakes up he COOKS HER A NICE MEAL and lets her go yet again when he’s ordered to leave her to be captured.

@@LadyJenevia I just watched them talk about their characters. (Yes, I fast forwarded to watch them first.) And it sounds like both Frenchie and Kimiko will be growing up and growing apart a bit this season. It sounds like it may be a bit heartbreaking to watch, but I'm excited.

NikkiBell10 I just hope it’s more so a matter of them working on themselves so that they’re in a better state (mentally, emotionally, etc.) to be together. Plus, the show has been renewed for season 3 so there is clearly room for them to continue with their blossoming relationship. THEY HAVEN’T EVEN KISSED YET, I AM WAITING. 😆

NikkiBell10 I think it’s a nice message to send to the audience - that you don’t have to be codependent with your romantic partner to have a healthy, loving relationship. It’s not ultimately their job to “fix” you and all your issues/traumas. But if they don’t spend enough time together I will scream even more loudly demanding another domestic cooking scene for them in season 3. 👀🔥

Do you think that line in Frenchie and MM's monogamy conversation where MM says Frenchie is gonna die by himself is foreshadowing to when Frenchie almost dies all alone in that alley when Black Noir comes for him? But then Kimiko comes and saves him. Or could it be foreshadowing to some future event where he dies by Kimiko's side?

A Mere Mortal I suppose there could be subtext or foreshadowing... or it could just be a line where he’s telling Frenchie he needs to find someone to share his life with. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

THE PANEL WAS SO GOOD! I love that they went through all of the characters to revisit their journeys in season one and previewed their trajectories coming up in season two. I can't stand when there's a panel full of people and they don't take proper time to talk to everyone. UNSURPRISINGLY my favourite part of the panel was when they FINALLY got to Karen and Tomer to talk about Frenchie and Kimiko. 😍
