@@cesiaalvarez9853 I would say it is called Slow Stitching. They are simple running stitches and back stitch. There are lots of tutorials and how to's on Pinterest or RU-vid. DinLife is exceptionally good at the art of slow stitching. Lovely to watch.

Yes, sewing in school! I am 53 and I have most of my clothes and bags that I created in school! I even have a suit! Haha! I modeled it at Christmas one year and my family laughed so hard with the poofy sleeves and peplum ruffle on the bottom of the jacket! The big scream was when I turned and everyone could see that I couldn't zipper the pants anymore! I tucked a shirt in to cover myself! I was laughing so hard, I could barely model and keep a straight face! I still have my pant suit! I received an A on it. It means a lot to me! Oh, did I mention, its tan corduroy! LOL!!! What a joy it was to bring fabric to school and come home many weeks later with something wonderful. We got lots of use from the seam ripper! Augh! Our teachers were tough but correct in making us do it over if it wasn't right. Thanks for bringing back the good memories with your comment. God bless you! Peace and a prayer! Lynne🍃💜🍃

You should try it. It isn't difficult. In fact I am pretty sure it is the type of activity that stimulates our brains to form new neural connections. I have not in decades even though I have been wanting to hand-sew a quilted blanket. I'm thinking I should re-begin with something smaller so I don't screw up the first attempt and discourage myself from what I know I CAN do and easily without distractions, even WITH brain trauma.

I love seeing people's inspirations. One day my mom came to visit, when my kids were young. She told us all to see how we could draw a snowman. She praised everyone's artwork and took them home with her. Months later, when my new daughter was born, she gave me a quilt made from all our drawings! Mom passed away four years ago yesterday. We cherish every quilt she ever made.

Hand sewing is one of the most relaxing and satisfying things to do. Imagine that with a needle and thread you can make anything, clothers, furnishings, toys and more. I learnt to hand sew at 6 and it is still one of my pastimes. I am hand sewing two patchwork quilts and also embroidering another. When I go to see my mum I take an old military jacket onto which I apply and embroider all over, since I began it it no longer fits but it's lovely to do. Lovely video thank you.
