She (mom) says other baby is talkative except when drinking milk...how anyone can hear Mui crying and not worry is beyond me. This is a crime. You can hear how hard things are when she puts them back on the plate and they rattle....how does she expect a fairly newborn with no teeth to eat that?

Miu is calling to pick her up. It's natural for a monkey that young to be carried constantly. She needs to cling to a warm body. I'm sure she would thrive if she were carried.

Look at this madness. He hides because he fears you. He doesn't reject because he isn't hungry. It's because he can't eat human, adult food. If you read comments, almost all of them tell you this but you and your husband are s o stubborn you refuse to change. For now, he is still a baby and in nature, they are still at their mother's breast..but you keep giving them food they cannot chew. It is stupid. As is having both babies with no access to each other, sunshine and things to watch. It is a horrible prison for those two animals who, in nature, would live outside 24/7. Look at him..foraging for food on your messy table..he's still hungry and so is Miu who, for reasons I sure can't understand, you keep apart even though Gon can hear her cry. That has to be distressing for him as well when they could be comforting each other. She would have likely enjoyed the peas as well

Hi, Demona. You are right..so hard to watch and listen to. But, every now and then, there's frustration in her voice too.. Surely, this is not what she dreamed of. In a new post, she gives him lemon juice and tries to force him. As long as she keeps forcing food he cannot eat and seeds with no real teeth yet, it is just STUPID, STUPID and things like bitter lemon, he will never trust her. He already refuses anything directly from her hand. He forages on her table because he is still hungry. This is why.

That Miu cries through the entire video and she doesn't care, doesn't do anything to help or comfort her says much about mom ability to detach from everything but Gon. Most everyone I know would worry. And Miu crying has to distress Gon and scare him. pretty presentation, useless food. pity Gon, pity Miu.

Hey, Sherry Shaw..replying to your comment, of course there are ways to tell if he's happy. He hides from her and if you see earlier vids of this little one, he was lively, bright. He has given up his struggle to be an individual because there is no escaping "Mom".. All the while, in the background, his sister continues to cry from neglect and hunger because "Mom" is incapable of leaving Gon alone long enough to clean her, feed and comfort her. And Mom still tries to feed him grownup food, knowing he needs a bottle. She is a bully and totally disconnected to his needs and his sister's.

Does anyone know the actual story how she came across these 2 baby's. She may have just seen them being mistreated in a shop and wanted to give them a proper home, or at least as proper as a monkey out of the wild can. The least is be thankful she loves them very much and she does let them cling to her. This is their best life NOW! GON is super cute, but he always looks sad, she seems to know his moods, he is very sensitive, and melancholy. MUI is much more spirited and funny. GON will change as he grows, but he may just be a quiet little guy.

So many people have commented about Gon refusing food from her hand and some of the inappropriate things she offers BUT, she is certainly doing better with Miu. Wish she would take them out for sun more and provide something they can both climb and swing on. Gon and Miu both need it. And, more peas for Gon☺

Hi, Isa..you told me to check my facts. The fact is Gon had never bonded with her..had never taken food from her hand, and when she held him, he always hid his face. To this day, he doesn't feed unless forced until she discovered he would eat peas on the floor. She refuses to give him a bottle and hold him which is the bonding time with young monkeys so she missed that opportunity and I think it may be too late now. She finally started paying more attention to Miu and is doing better with her but Miu is more brave and feisty than Gon. However it goes, I wish them well.

Hi, Maxilyn..the entire situation is sad..Miu crying somewhere else in the house, Gon acting depressed. They need to be outside and they need a cat tree or something like it to play on to grow strong. But, I am told she doesn't read English so all the helpful comments are a waste of time and so is watching. Between Miu crying, her singing and Gon being sad, it's too much😞She keeps giving him hard food which he cannot eat..he needs food he would eat with forest mom, not 'beads'.. but she never listens. She needs a small nipple and baby bottle..I have seen them so she could help, but him not eating may make better videos which, in my opinion, is sick in a bad way.
