⚠️ The unions in the UK are not the way they used to be when all the major unions joined together in the UK this is when the unions started to become a business for profit. They set up strikes almost every year at critical times, postal strikes at Christmas, train strikes at Christmas & new year, medical worker strikes during a pandemic like now when 7 NHS Trusts have declared critical incidents, firefighters during Guy Fox night, teachers during student exams, airport staff during summer holidays. I'm not saying workers shouldn't be part of unions, but union organisers are doing strikes at the worst possible time every year. It's its not fair on the general public, and who end up having to suffer especially when someone calls an ambulance for a stroke and it takes over 1 hour for an ambulance then the patients get took to hospital only to sit outside in an ambulance for 30 hours waiting on a bed to become available. Last week, 33 ambulances were parked outside A&E in England because there were no beds available, taking an ambulance and its crew off the roads for 30 hours. If strikes are necessary, then they should be conducted and planned for days that will less impact the general public become all these strikes are just making the general public angry and less sympathetic towards striking parties. The unions make lots of money when they organise strikes through donations, etc. This is why the unions these days are trying to set up as many strikes as possible throughout all sectors and industries.

What kind of people go on strike just before Christmas. The one time of year the majority of us look forward to. Not nice people. Well, all those of you who can, go on strike now. Dont answer your phone, dont reply to letters, cancel appointments, cook up a good reason though and give plenty of notice. And, And, if you can manage it, dont buy anything new for the next month, two months would be better. Sick of these strikes happening again, had enough of them in the seventies. So, dont go to the hairdressers, the nail parlour, the barbers. Dont attend any club meeting etc, in other words, withdraw all your support from anything you can. You wont die and you will be better off. I have experienced these strikes before, SO I am on strike this time. What am I striking for? Normalcy and consideration for others and a vibrant happy country. Imagine the impact if we all did that for a couple of months. Just might jolt the system back to common sense.
