Yuki Morimura is the concertmaster of an amateur orchestra called Fujimi City Philharmonic Ochestra. He takes pride in his position as their leader, but when Kei Tonoin joins Fujimi as a new conductor, everything starts to change. Kei graduated from a prestigious music university abroad, being appreciated as a genius from the early stage of his career. Kei's arrogant attitude drove Yuki crazy, ending up announcing his resignation from Fujimi. This decision also upsets Kei, making him do everything he could to stop Yuki from leaving his position. But as Yuki and Kei argue over this resignation, Kei gradually unfolds his true intention of his transfer to Fujimi and the reason for convincing Yuki to stay.

I remember reading this as a manga over a decade ago, if I am not mistaken the story is originally a bl novel and has more books than just the manga story plot. Which continues to be toxic. Back then I was more innocent and didn’t know that yaoi was mainly a for female product and that nonconsent was a popular topic among novel readers… tbh, I am thankful novels like Bad Buddy and Remember Me are being made now. Because back then, 99.99% of stuffs were toxic like this.

Enough with rape as a means of seduction. I'm getting really tired of Gagaoolala promoting nonconsensual relationships as cute or sexy. And I'm done with it as a BL trope. Rape and sexual abuse should not be normalized as just part of a relationship.

Gagaoolala "Promoting non consensual relationships". First off gaga is a platform. They air dramas. You don't have to like the series, you dont even have to watch them.But you most certainly cant go around accusing platforms for crimes, just because you dont approve of the content. Now since you are clearly illogical, let me be clear. I'm not supporting such relationships, nobody should. But that doesn't not mean they dont happen. Closing your eyes will not make things disappear neither can you censor creators or their creativity. If something you disapprove of happens, or unethical or immoral. Yes, some storylines include rape and sexual abuse, but Gagaoolala shouldn't use scenes depicting that as ways to get viewers, especially when the shows aren't even acknowledging that what happens is a crime or even amoral. Some BL shows depict force and rape as means of seduction, of getting someone to like someone else. It's despicable and needs to be addressed and done away with as a trope or even an acceptable idea. I understand that Gagaoolala doesn't create the content, but as a platform for the content, they have a choice of what to air on their platform and how to promote it. They have posted clips before that include rape and captioned it with some cutesy words about finally getting the boy to fall in love. I want everyone to do better than promoting sexual violence as love. In no terms is anything nonconsensual okay. We're doing harm when we do anything other than condemn that behavior.

@@jesse8977 i get what you're saying, but their job is to promote this shows. it isr the job of the public to educate themselves on SA. Not gagas job, though they could help, they aren't activists . SA should never be glorified, but you can't put that on gaga. Everyone should know what is right and what is wrong. Theres a difference between fantasy and reality. And this issues need to acknowledge in reality as abhorrent. In fantasy, to each his own. We might not like it, but, we can only emphasize right from wrong. In actual relationships. I'm glad though to see some bl make steps in addressing alot of issues, like SA, stereotyping, consent, faithfulness and communication in relationships. Lets hope for more improvement.

I can relate. I'm really frustrated with the Japanese hairstyles since 2000's. Actually, Japanese hairstyles didn't use to be like that. If you watch Japanese shows from 1950's-1990's, Japan had the best hairstyles in Asia and a lot of Japan's hairstyles were even better than hollywood. These kinds of hairstyles started in the 2000's

This is a 2012 content. You can't be mad at it. It is the famous era were everything was dark and painful to watch. Everyone were uncomfortable and in pain but we couldn't complain😭😭. BL content was very small and we eat everything small production could offer and was allowed to do. We are in 2022 now, yes. A lot of people who watch BL, especially from Japan, are young or immature and can’t differentiate between a story and real life. Japan will deal with real life issues while others countries who imitate Bl won’t. Getting on a forum about a movie and complaining about it shows immaturity, IMO. Nobody is trying to “normalize” sexual assault. But, the reality is it happens. So, if you can’t handle the subject matter, don’t watch. This ain’t no airport where you have to announce your departure just slide on out. Everything on the internet ain’t for everybody. Getting upset and making comments about how angry you are is ridiculous. Just go watch one of those romantic comedy fantasies from Korea.
