That wouldn't work, a body is only hidden when it cannot be found and the game lists it as gone, and cannot be hidden after someone has found it since it has been found. The objective also specified that unconscious bodies had to be hidden, so no leaving them as that would invalidate the possibility of them getting hidden.

I think the “bush hiding mechanic” or any other pond and such is based on if somebody gets “killed into it”. It is similar on the sniper maps when killing somebody and sending them through a window etc.

Yeah I think it's doing sniper map/game rules for the sniper team kills and then normal rules when knocking someone out. I feel like the bodies fly a bit more when they are sniper kills as well.

At 13:48 the point bonus for "body hidden" pops up, so apparently being in the grass like that DOES count as hidden, same as being put in a box (also at 14:41 and 15:13). It being in the middle of a bunch of other bonuses and only showing up on screen for a couple seconds certainly does make it difficult to realize you've successfully completed the objective, though. Edit: Particularly because I don't know of any other case where grass counts for hiding a body.

It didn't count for the non-target guards though... I think they coded in an exception for the targets on this particular escalation.

@@TheMTSilver Yeah, that just makes it more confusing, and they don't seem to have done anything to communicate that either the grass or the roof would count for hiding the targets' bodies beforehand, and didn't really give any clear indication that they'd been successfully hidden afterward. They could have implemented it much better. Which is too bad, because it was otherwise a pretty neat addition for that mission.

The problem you were having is that they would see the body immediately after they got shot, but as soon as the body landed in the grass, it was counted as hidden (invisible to the guards). So they ran to the last place they saw the body as it flew threw the air and searched for it, but could not see it in the grass because it was rendered invisible by the rules of the game. That’s why that one guard said “someone must have moved the body”. Unlike most tall grass in the game, they apparently coded this tall grass as a permanent hide, otherwise this particular escalation would be extremely difficult.

It's not actually a matter of the tall grass, I don't think, but a matter of the targets being killed by the sniper team and then landing in tall grass instead

I wonder if that works in the main mission too... Lemme check Edit: I spent a dumb amount of time on trying to see if it worked because in the main mission you can only use the camera on Vidal and shes usually not in a way that would land her in a bush. Basically no it doesn't work, its specifically coded like that for the escalation I guess I have too much free time :D

Yeah I tried contracts mode too but you cant use the sniper in there either. Its specifically for this escalation.@@ethirtee

12:47 since the mission only said bodies needed to be hidden, I left the first guy by the radio and shut it off so that he wouldn't be noticed. Apparently it counts as long as the Bodies Hidden tag pops up after the kill.

Recently I have completed everything in Hitman WoA, so now I just go on full yolo runs with the beast assault rifle. I never knew how awesome that thing is before because of always trying to be silent. 60 rounds per mag means you can pull the trigger and make yourself a sandwhich before you run out. That's genious.

At 24:40, those guys weren’t part of the sniper team, so you could have just dumped them. The condition said that even if you pacified them, it would fail you, so those guys aren’t sniper since you would have failed otherwise.

The Satu Mare Delirium on Berlin is a fun one. It's a modern throwback to the very first Hitman when 47 wakes up on a slab and has to escape the asylum. The map is way less populated and without the blaring techno music, and all you do is run around in a strait jacket and taking down targets with the strait jacket belt and avoid detection.

Bodies don't need to be hidden if they were killed by an accident or poisoning, and since the sniper team kill is considered an accident, the bodies don't need to be hidden. Even if there's the complication of requiring bodies to be hidden.

pretty sure you are only spotted cause you are strapping on a machete. iirc, NPC spots illegal items on a wider range, so it is best to not pick up any illegal stuff you are not allowed to carry if you are sneaking. also, i think for the sniper team kill in particular, it is always treated as an "accident", so when they get found, they don't fail you for some reason.

i got a challenge for you. do the explosive tank mod thingy you did way back when in big maps like mumbai, mendoza, miami etc. to make it even interesting do it on master mode. all npcs MUST have the mods too like last time. i think it would be a chaotic mess for sure.

Couldn't you have left the two unconscious bodies at the yard where certainly some walking person would see them, leave to the exit and wait till they are woken up? Then you did not have to hide them and you can instantly leave.

20:30, nope. You can snipe anyone into a bush and the body will be hidden. I know what you think you're talking about though because with any other tool or setup you use to kill the target, it doesn't count as hiding the target in a bush, but if it's a sniper? The game makes an exception. I do mean as in you sniping them by the way.

yeah it's like the sniper assassin maps, if they fall somewhere after being sniped, they're hidden. strange specification but i assume thats why the whole idea was to use the sniper team.
