I've had that same lady as a target as you did in that final mission. She has a small tattoo on her hand. The catch is that her tattoo is bugged and sometimes won't show up from certain distances. Can't be too close or too far away or else the tattoo disappears lol.

Its probably too late for you to see this @bigmooney but i am going to speak for myself and let others just chime in. We are happy for you to use the best equipment you can like the dart guns because we also enjoy seeing you smash out the missions perfectly and with skills you have learnt over the years playing this game. You put heaps of fun and interesting handicaps on your other hitman content, we want you to get as rich and powerful in freelancer as possible and see you smash out syndicates so you can get to a point of doing a full syndicate speedrun video.

Colorado starting point- switch on that water pump and that exact guard comes over to turn it off, back toward you, and there’s a box to hide him in right there.

Funny thing i figured out about freelancer, guard kills do not deduct money, only unarmed civvies. Also, if you have patience, you can get a fish and a starfish from the dock from fishing, and they only take up one spot each. Not sure where the starfish in freshwater are, but there ya go.

i always make sure my freelancer runs end with showdowns in new york, berlin, or sgail... because these maps have disguises that let you anywhere: suit and tie guards in new york, biker guys on berlin, and hooded guards in sgail...

When you arrive at the main entrance on Sgail on the story mission, he is dropped off by a boat that speeds off in the entrance animation, just as an fyi lol

Ambrose Island is possibly the worst map for showdown. Even worse than Colorado (and no I am not kidding). Apology for the longest comment on youtube but I would like to gave you some hints on that anway (also note that my playstyle has changed in Freelancer because I stopped caring about ranking, basically trying to reach level 100 of my safe house before 0107 will come out so I often do some stuf than hide, go for food etc. and than return). GL with hardcore mode. General tips: - take man objectives that consists of killing guards, killing with SMGs, killing with assault rifle, bombs.. etc., these maps will have almost zero objective (I do not count prestige objective) to have silent assasin, suit only, hide and seek and timed; - for showdowns try to leave the maps with safes, they might trigger open safe with explosive Prestige objective (almost on every map there is at least one fire extinguisher and/or propane flask so even if you forgot to bring explosve with you it is still doable); - avoid following maps at costs (at least for Showdowns) - Amborse Island, (probably the worst map ever, not even Colorado is that hard, on Hardcore mode), Miami (on PS5 there is a bug where guards in VIP area will stay alerted indefinitelly when alarm is triggered), New York (on hardcore mode it is quite challenging if you get wrong starting spot, on showdown you might even get spawned between 3-4 lookouts); - easiest map at all: Dartmoor (there one empty house which you can use as hiding spot, for planning etc; ChongQing (apology for wrong spelling) , the map is huge but very easy to nabigate, Dubai (another easy map), Berlin (same as Dubai and Dartmoor (the fact that the map is so small is actually on the plus side); - if you do not care about ranking than one of the easiest maps is Colorado, just use Wicker man to clear the map (do note two things the path from Wicker costume to water tower is quite challenging and you need sniper rifle, but other than that - the map can be completely cleared under 10 minutes, you need to have very good aim with silverballer or take sniper rifle and hit the bells with it); - as for prestige objectives - make sure that you take the required equipment first (I almost always take the best rarirty for weapons or equipment); List of maps that I always try to take on the Freelance - while this tier list might be biased I am very confident in tier 1 maps for showdowns and tier 4 maps to avoid at all cost, the rest might be interchangable): Tier 1 (for showdowns):. Dartmoor (on hardcore mode number one as easiest map, on normal mode number two), Berlin, Chong QIng, Dubai, Mendoza, New Yourk (for showdowns, yes as I mentioned New Yourk might be hard depending on spawn location, but I woul dstill take it over other maps in lower tiers); Tier 2 (for normal stuff): Marakesh, Santa Fortuna, Hokaido, Paris, Haven Island, Sapienza - those map are challenging but if not on showdnow there are still managable; Tier 3 (not recommend but sitll playable): Miami (yes - unpopular opinion but the bug with gurads in VIP area mentioned above is making this map more frustrating than enjoying), Mumbai (there are so many NPCs that it might just randomly crash, also those super enforcers from campaign are still here so there is really high number of them), Coloado (I use Wicker man strategy here so for me it is an easy map, but otherwise I would probably not reccomend it to play it especially when it is alerted territory), Isle of Sgail (the map is hard on normal mode due to sheer number fo guards, the difficulty is definitelly higher when it is on Hardcore mode); Tier 4 (maps to avoid): Ambrose Island (some might argue with me but this map is far worse than Colorado and/or Isle of Sgail), Bangkok (if something will go wrong it is almost ufnixable here),

I think they only removed Perfect Run from Hardcore mode since it's bugged. If you have any objective that only completes once the mission is over, like "1 Disguise" or "no combat" Perfect Run sees that as a missed objective. I haven't played Hardcore mode since I got it in the first month of Freelancer's release because it's just not worth it, but since failing Prestige objectives fails the campaign, I think that's why they removed it.

I love the new intro! Don't do hardcore. The regular game is bullshit enough.

As someone who almost exclusively plays hardcore mode let me give you some insights, hopefully without spoiling too much. First of all, there's the disguise ruined mechanic from master mode and I'm pretty sure you also have less hp. All of your targets and suspects see through your suits and guard disguises, I actually really like this cause it encourages you to seek out civilian outfits you usually don't ever need to use. Couriers and supply caches don't show on the map, whatever. Failing prestige objectives fails the entire campaign, which is not as difficult as it may sound, especially when you ignore the normal objectives (I always try to complete all 4 which makes it endlessly more fun and sometimes frustrating). Unfortunately, it does limit how often you can take objectives like SASO or timed trial if you don't want to start all over again because of some hitman bullshit. Don't ever take the arrange meeting objective, it's buggy and sometimes just doesn't work. And double-triple-quadruple check if your weapon is rare enough for the objective. When it comes to the showdown levels, I have mixed feelings. I love how complex it can get, sometimes you have a small window to even look at the suspect, let alone take them out. There's a lot, and I mean a shit ton of suspects, assassins, and lookouts. Suspects don't have the little icons over their head that tell you their tells and meeting type so you have to figure these out by observing them. You also don't get the "assassin/lookout nearby" notification. And yeah, assassins and lookouts is where hardcore really sucks. Assassins just one-shot you with their first bullet, no questions asked. You see "assassin alerted" and 2 seconds later you just die. Lookouts on the other hand have some telepathic abilities which allow them to notify their boss as soon as they lay their eyes upon you. You're all alone in a mining shaft in Santa Fortuna, a lookout comes through the door, you immediately shoot him in the face, and... "the secret network is escaping" How? I have no idea. It doesn't happen all the time but has definitely cost me some runs. These showdown levels can take some significant time, I'm pretty sure I was stuck on one of them for almost an hour. Call me a masochist, but I actually prefer playing hardcore than normal. Yes, it can be difficult, it can be annoying, it can be absolute bullshit, but in the end the satisfaction after completing a clean run is completely worth it. Good luck!

Mooney, HC is a good idea. Just maybe in the showdowns look only for glasses/no glasses, hat/no hat, and hair. Ignore the other looks attributes, that will save you time and nerves. And learn to distinguish blonde from gray... You can do it.

What you should *really* do is enable hardcore mode and level up your prestige at the same time. Being forced to complete every prestige objective while starting with no weapons or tools whatsoever (since each prestige level removes all of them at the start) is seriously challenging and nervewracking. Looking forward to the next episode either way!

I definitely still get perfect run show up in my prestige options fairly regularly and they seem to mostly have fixed it, and I only have it bugged out once in the last few weeks

Definitely try hardcore mode it would be so chaotic, I was able to finish a hardcore campaign after like 2 failed attempts so I don't think it's that hard once you get used to it

You're at the stage now where you can transition from trying to maximize payouts to trying to maximize XP. Best way is to shoot for perfect runs; all four objectives done giving you a 2500 XP bonus. If you can't because the prestige objectives are shid, so be it
