Praise the Sun! Hurricanes don't collide. The spin around each other. If they stay close long enough the larger one can suck in the smaller one, but it doesn't make it stronger.

If one storm is much stronger than the other, the smaller storm usually rotates around the larger one. But when bot storms are similar in strength, they tend to orbit a common center between the two. If the two storms get to within 190 miles of each other, they'll collide or merge

There is a strong steering current, so it is unlikely to happen. The fujiwhara effect usually happens, when there is no high pressure ridges guiding them. Look at the recent case of Typhoon Noru & Kulap

when they collide and the other one absorbs it, it doesn't actually goin more windspeeds and such what happens is the bigger one that absorbed the smaller one actually gets weaker or bigger in terms of length and width

Finally found a video that gives a normal reason to have more than one hurracane at once now days there are a lot of channels that say is the end of the world because is so difficult to get more than 1 hurracane at once and they are only panicking people its just the hurracan season
