+Penison Wenda except Jesus Christ was the only person that hung bloody and bruised on a cross for your redemption. No other religious leader laid down their life for us, wretched and rebellious hearted sinners. No other religious leader is even worthy to untie Jesus's sandals, much less righteous enough to carry His cross to pay our penalty. Jesus said no one is good except God, so why do you think we could possibly live good lives? Even if we could, we're not commanded to live good lives; we're commanded to live perfect lives. Be perfect just as God is perfect. That's God's standard: perfection. To an all perfect God, Isaiah said even our most righteous deeds are like filthy rags. So, unless we are perfect, there's absolutely no possible way for us to get to heaven on our own merit. That's why Jesus came to earth. He lived the perfect life on our behalf and then traded his righteousness for our sin and judgement and penalty. He traded places with us so we could have eternal life.

+Duck-fil-A so to say that if you live a good life that you will get to heaven is just simply not true. Please don't be deceived into thinking you can earn your salvation. Outside of living a perfect life, there's not a single thing you can offer to God that will gain you admittance into heaven. What could you possibly offer the creator of the universe that He would accept for you to go to heaven? There's nothing, especially for someone who has broken God's laws. We are not saved by works, but by grace through faith in Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except thru me." Please choose Jesus and find your salvation before it's too late.

Clayton, I wake up... listen to "when I became a man" every morning ! It is motivation and the spirit speaking to me through you and explains fully my own journey I just went through to rediscover my true love for Jesus. And now, I walk with him in my heart more than ever... Chills shoot down my body when I speak to anyone and profess the glory of God! I see it in you Clayton just as I feel it in me. You do not truly understand what your videos have done for me the past couple weeks. Not only gave me strength but confirmation of what the lord is telling me and telling me what to do. You are truly inspirational and a light that shines bright. I hope that God places you in many more lives so your methods and messages can touch the hearts of many to see with your heart and not with your eyes. The world is lost and signs are everywhere. +Saber Selections Actually, I still listen to it and watch but not everyday like I did but never have turned away from the lord. But your reply comes at a difficult time for me as I am dealing or trying to deal with some marital issues and need him more than ever. You made me realize I need to get my focus back to him so I can find relief and hope things can work there way through it.If I could, and you dont know me or my situation. Please just pray for me and my family... My wife my step son and our own two kids.

Theres never a time to not pray. I figured that everyone always takes a tiny step back. I myself have subtly not been to church in 5 months. My pastor left us and our church went into financial troubles. We have new pastors coming in all the time, but church was never the same since we had our old pastor that inspired me to give faith a chance. And since ive gone away to college i feel even more distant toward the lord. Clayton says hes no one special, but I disagree because he s always on facebook and on youtube to remind me of where it all comes down to. Having my head wrapped around girls, failing to get my work done, sleepless nights of goofing off doing nothing. I've been away from the Lord. I pray for you and your marriage. I hope that even in a difficult time you love your wife and kids just as much as God loves you and please pray for me as well as I look to get back into my faith stronger than ever before. If you are on facebook i started a group a little while back that i invite you and whoever else to join called the yay god group. Each day you post one good thing that happened to you and thank god for that small little thing. Prayers.

@@WeeklyJens Good i suppose, just embracing the suck (grunt humor) went into the DEP program at 17, finished HS and joined the marines at 18, MOS 0311, going on a deployment in 2 and half weeks (trying to follow opsec and keep as much info as confidential as possible over social media). Being unable to sleep at 2300 on a soft bed while being able to sleep on hard ass ground at 1200 in 96 degrees while in full kit. Addicted to nicotine and caffeine to cope with the "suck", the usual grunt life.

Wow... This is so crazy. Just last night I was talking to my friend about getting baptized. We played a game on one on one basketball and i said if he won I would get baptized. We played and he ended up winning it all by one point. We talked about it and I have been thinking about it anyway but I still wasn't sure. I prayed about it last night and opened up to Jesus. And this very next morning My other friend Chris reached out to me and said this youtube video reminded him of me. And now I'm in tears. Jesus you reached out to me. This is not a coincidence. My mind has been made up. I'm getting saved!!

I remember listening to this while on my mission, for the "mormon" church, and it inspired me then to be a better follower of Christ. Now, after a few years of being back home and dealing with the harsh reality we live in, this poem has taken on a new meaning to me, helping me remember the love on my Lord and Savior; to be a better Christian. Why am I now seeing your RU-vid channel? You just gave me motivation. Thank you so much. I'm crying because every time I drew closer and closer to God I lose friends, and people that were closer to me. Some of the same people come back to you years later wanting to know more about Jesus. Thank you so much and continue doing what you're doing. I tried going back into the world and I did things of the world and I started talking to people that would stray me back away from God, but every time God bring me back to where he wants me to be. I was searching for physical love even though I know that God's love is the only love that I need. There isn't no other love like God's love. Sometimes we run out from under the wings of God and go out into the world but he let us get hurt sometimes to realize that we're not anyone without God. I love you channel already!!! "When I became a man I was ridiculed and laughed at." That line, though I am not a man, really speaks to me. For so long I have ran as far away from Jesus as I could get for fear of my fiance's opinion of me. Fear of him mocking me the way he mocks others. Your videos have inspired me. They make me want to be better and do better for myself and for my children. So thank you for inspiring me to grow up too. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I cannot thank you enough. Jared Kimber True that. The Bible does mention that sinners and Christians can not be married in the eyes of God. In the fourteenth verse of the sixth chapter of the second epistle of Corinthians, there is a very important verse that a lot of people have forgotten about: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath light with darkness? and what communion hath righteousness and unrighteousness?". In another words, you can't be holding on to sin and to Christ too. You must choose one or the other. Now I am not saying leave him. However, I am saying that if he absolutely will not choose Christ, then why do you even delight to be with him?

I just listened to this. My son is an addict. He is rehab again. Last time he was clean a little longer. He said the difference in before and now is before he did it for everyone else, now he's doing it for himself. God has a plan for him and saved his life so many times. My son is like some of your friends you talk about in this video. He's been saved but he needs to be strong and take a stand for Christ. I'm praying he does because then I will know "he's become a man" instead of a 27 year old boy~ Thank you for this video. I love it!

Saw You at Hope College, Holland Michigan. My fire wasn't gone, but some how....not your words but the Omni presence of God came whooshing in and in a moment of clarity, I know why I was there tonight. I don't even go to Hope. My girlfriend does. So hey: good word...God shines bright..I hardly noticed you on the stage.

Feb 13 2022, 11:54pm. Now I definitely hope you or see this, I am going through a lot. I stayed with a boy who said he would change , Now that I am pregnant he is so much worse, I just pray that a miracle happens so I don't have to go through that heart break, but I'm giving it to Jesus everyday now that I found out.
