@@Delsto5 literally cooking time is 10-15mins in the air fryer. And prep is just chopping up some chicken thighs, seasoning it and popping it into the air fryer DUH
Y'all freeze your meat? I buy meat only for the week and buy the meat with the longest expiration date, no need for freezing or thawing meat in my household 🤷🏻♀️ Then again some people buy in bulk for the month I guess? But my mom only ever froze meat if she knew she wasn't gonna be able to make it before the expiration date But then again we had a tiny freezer, barely enough to fit a bag of fries and frozen nuggets inside
lmao y’all mf’s weak. just because she isn’t unwrapping a frozen pizza from the plastic, doesn’t mean this recipe ain’t quick (and ridiculously simple)
This would take a whole shopping trip just for the ingrediants- let alone the airfryer I don't own lol. And who has fresh dethawed chicken thighs just laying around??
@@Tiramisoup I mean my mom probably has dethawed meat, but she also has a huge fridge and a giant freezer in the basement. My fridge is tiny and my freezer is even smaller. I rarely have even frozen meat unless I'm making something specific. I try to keep stocked on dry/canned goods but I honestly don't have space (or money) for ingrediants I don't use on the regular.
Just made this in the oven instead of airfryer and it was still amazing. Super delcious! Wish i had an air fryer to make these crispy. Next time i might pan sear them after baking to get a similar texture
compared to chopping up a ton of onions, tomatoes, peppers, etc and then using 3 different pans to cook dinner (or even just one pan)? This is like 30 minute dinner max.
@@LethalLuggage I just mean usually if I’ve forgotten dinner, I don’t have thawed raw meat ready to go and time to let it marinate long enough to matter. That implies forethought 😅
You forgot to make dinner but magically have all the ingredients you need and thawed out to make dinner. Meanwhile I forgot to make dinner and went for a burger.
@@jazzip it's literally chicken, spices, lemon and sauces. I have all of those at home...also I said most people who "like to cook"...her channel is literally cooking, it would be weirder if she didn't have these things.
I did these. Can't fully say about the recipe, since one of the eaters can't eat minced garlic so I left that out. But they were really good! Everyone complimented them
Sure, here's the recipe for spicy garlic parmesan chicken skewers: Ingredients: - 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into chunks - 2 tablespoons lemon juice - 1 teaspoon paprika - 1 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 teaspoon onion powder - 1 teaspoon dried parsley - 1 teaspoon lemon and herb seasoning - 1 teaspoon dried oregano - 2 tablespoons oil - Salt and pepper to taste - Wooden skewers For the sauce: - 1/4 cup mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon mustard - 2 cloves garlic, minced - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tablespoon lemon juice - 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, plus more for topping Instructions: 1. In a bowl, combine the chicken chunks with lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, lemon and herb seasoning, oregano, oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. 2. Thread the marinated chicken onto wooden skewers. 3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). 4. Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and crispy. 5. In the meantime, prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, mustard, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and grated parmesan cheese in a bowl. 6. Once the chicken skewers are cooked, brush them with the prepared sauce while they're still hot. 7. Sprinkle more grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top before serving. Enjoy your spicy garlic parmesan chicken skewers! Recipe for anyone wondering

You guys. This is PHENOMENAL. Yes it’s not necessarily a “forgot to defrost the meat” kind of dinner but holy shit ya’ll. I made this for 6 people from 2-60 and everyone DEVOURED it. Sara, my girl, your recipes are to die for!
What recipe? She has no recipe. I understand the ingredients- but there are no measurements. To make this authentic. And on top of that I have no idea what taste or texture I am driving for so…

when you forget to make dinner and realize you're hungry do you just accept the fact that you're hungry and not eat? that's a very unhealthy habit if so
@@aristo_art9305 Put rice in rice cooker with salt. Get chicken, season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Place chicken in oven with thermometer that notifies me when it’s at 165. Check temp in multiple places. Keep cooking if it’s not 165. Serve chicken and rice. For when I was REALLY bad off, I would just eat plain unsalted white rice. I’d keep a bunch in my rice cooker at all times keeping warm and I’d just slowly eat all of it. Great for when you’re depressed and can’t move. Can also add like eggs and stuff to it too and it cooks it, like a whole meal. Another good one is a tuna fish sandwich. Tuna mixed with mayo in a sandwich. Or PB&J. Tuna mixed with mayo is also amazing on rice. And, for a slightly fancier but incredibly easy meal, I like this shrimp recipe called Honey Garlic Shrimp (honey, soy sauce, garlic, 1lb shrimp). I don’t add the green onion or ginger. I serve mine on rice. In the future I plan to also serve it with broccoli.
Pretty sure this is the same one that had a video a few weeks back that was like, "If you don't feel like making ravioli, make this instead!" and it was a stuffed shells recipe that used numerous pots and pans and dozens of ingredients lol. It looked good, but in my family, something like that only happens on holidays.
Your presentation is on point! These drumsticks not only taste amazing but also look incredibly appetizing. Can't wait to impress my friends at the next potluck
This was delicious!!! Cooked on 400 for 10 mins, flipped, then 7 more mins and they were perfect! I add more lemon juice for my flavor preference and used Greek yogurt instead of mayo for the sauce. Great idea… keep em coming!
Air fryer, but you could possibly use the same temp in the oven but watch the timing (try 7 mins on first side and if not a crunchy brown add 2-3 more minutes or to your liking)
Mine is in the oven atm and they look and smell great. I tripled the batch going off on how much I think you used in video. Sauce resembles a Caesar dressing which I’m in love with atm. Think I will turn my extra into more of a salad dressing tmrw. ❤
You have a VERY different definition of "quick" than I do...and I don't know about American air fryers, but non-american air fryers are capable of regulating the temperature, so in addition to a frying time, a frying temperature would be helpful...
I'm American, my lazy cheap @ss doesn't own an air fryer lol. But my BFF does- pretty sure you can adjust the temp on his. But keep in mind our education sucks so we don't understand metric lol so a temp still might not be that helpful 😂😂😂
@@aristo_art9305It's not so much that it's not easy, but more that not everyone has all these particular spices on hand. People have different tastes and grew up with different flavors. They may have spices this content creator doesn't. What makes her recipes not so easy is her unrealistic ideas of what quick and easy dinners are. Most people have time and family obligations or other limitations she doesn't seem to have, which is fine, she just shouldn't mislabel her recipes as something they aren't.
@@aristo_art9305 some people think all food needs this much seasoning, some of us think this is over seasoned. When I see so much seasoning dumped in the recipe I mentally dismiss it, as so many of these videos do this, and for many it's simply over powering in the recipe.
Two chicken breasts. Preheat oven to 420. Combine 1 TEASPOON each of the following dried herbs: oregano, basil, seasoned salt, garlic salt, onion powder, and one TABLESPOON each of dried parsley and olive oil. Rub that all over the chicken and pop it in the oven til it’s done. 15-20 minutes depending on size of the chicken. Extra credit if you put it in a pan with a little olive oil and cook the outside before you pop it in the oven, it’ll be extra juicy. Want a quick potato on the side? Wash it, wrap it in a paper towel, microwave it 3-4 minutes on each side.
this is the definition of that one post saying don't tell me you have a quick go-to meal if the first step requires me cutting up something lol. Looks great though, haha
@@jonathandpg6115 It would definitely take longer than that, especially for those of us without a proper dishwasher. Handwashing the dishes alone would take probably 20+ minutes start to finish.
This really seems simple to make and absolutely delicious! We should have most of the ingredients in our pantry. All you have to do is stop by real quick and pick up some chicken!
That’s what I’m thinking… if you forget your dinner, the chicken is necessarily still frozen. Nobody leaves thawed chicken unless planned or bought the same day…
I don’t have a microwave, but noticed a thaw button on the one at work. I wonder if it would it take a long time to thaw in there. I freeze my chicken pieces in a single layer, so they don’t take longer to thaw and I can easily take portions. I think 10-15 minutes in hot water gets them to thaw. They do recommend to not thaw meat in hot water, but it’s not like I am cooking my chicken medium-rare.
girl i love that this is ur idea of quick and simple forgot to make dinner- dinner 😭 bc this is dead ass a full cooking time lol, im thinking cereal or a sandwich
What degree do we set the airfryer oven to? Im always scared to cook chicken, for fear of being undercooked! Looks & sounds delicious! I soooo want to try this asap!😋
@@DominantBtch I par cook frozen chicken by steaming it on med heat then I cook it regularly and it only has to steam while I grab and prep other ingredients. No time added. But I'm still making dinner when I do that.

A lot of those ingredients are considered kitchen/pantry staples. Once you have the spices and seasonings, you’ll be able to make many meals before you have to go running to the grocery store. As far as the fresh stuff like the chicken and the garnish, just plan ahead when you’re about to go out for your weekly grocery shopping. Decide which day you want to cook this dish and you’ll have these on hand for when that day comes.
