I miss not just this side of Miley but the 2000s music in general, there's something really powerful about a lot of the songs that came out around that time... I cant help but feel the emotion in this song like all her songs hit with pure emotion. Brings out the tears in me I love this song After everything Miley have been through, Liam is still deeply cared for her and finally they ended up together. This song really resemble their relationship. She may not look back at this time with the best of memories, yet she was giving power beyond time with this. @@bunnyg1996g Wow, considering I would have been like younger than 10 when the songs in question came out, if it was just nostalgia it wouldn't hold up under scrutiny now. So no, I'm not talking about nostalgia, these sorts of songs are legitimately moving in my opinion. I didn't even realize that they first met from being in this movie together. Of course, back then I had no idea who Liam even was. Too bad it took until the making of "The Hunger Games" movies for me to discover him.

I’m a senior citizen now, but I remember back 50 years to those summer romances on the beach during vacation. Some of the best memories of my life, and this song reminds me of those times. I remember walking the beach with my wife, the sunrises, holding her body close, thinking it would never end. My wife left to leave her footprints on the eternal beach four years ago. For whatever reason, God left me here for the time being. Other family members need my help for now, but when my work here is done, I will follow those beautiful bare, small, indelible footprints she left for me, which no waves can erase. We will both be young and healthy again, and spend eternity in love, with the blessing of God.
How incredible it is to see Miley's transformation from the person who looked for motivation in other people to the person who is self motivated to live life on her own without anyone's support. I think we 90's kid have been through the same journey 🔥

This is when Miley and Liam fell in love for the first time. They dated, broke up and then found their way back in each other's arms, they finally got married. Six months later and they have split. This song is still very deep for me, from my pre-teen until today, 2021. It makes me cry and I don't even know why. People have lost their sensitivity, we are in a pandemic time, where people lose who they love and will never come back and there are still people who don't give a damn.
9 years ago a close friend of mine passed away from Leukemia. We were just 8 back then & I don't think I quite understood the concept of death. I thought she was going away for a long time & that she'd be back some day. They played this song at her funeral because of how much she adored Miley & till this day this song reminds me of her. I mean it isn't romantic. Lol It can apply to anyone who's important to you. Not every relationship is romantic. I think the other relationships are actually more genuine than romantic ones like the relationship between a parent and child.

i don’t know why this breakup/split hurt me more than it should. it truly hurts my heart and overwhelms me. i feel like they truly are soulmates and their love was compared to lovers who were meant to be together for the rest of eternity. hurts that they’ve decided to split and take their own paths 💔
Well if they’re meant to be together they will no matter what because there’s been cases of people breaking out for years and then back together again so they might date for each other and other people for a while but then they might end up back together again if they really meant to be together they really sold me so always find a way back to each other to grow up go through the changes and then one day they migy not be back together and have kids together and stuff
I obviously do not know them. But I feel like Liam loved the very simple and country part of Miley which is part of her identity. But she is also very rockstar and outgoing/outspoken which I think is where the conflict arises.
