Yeah it seems like they are as modders do it quicker but mods dont have to work perfectly or on both versions and im sure mojang gets though tons of development of items blocks and mobs before scraping them
They're definitely doing there best to make it as good as Possible so we don't have any fails that just look a damn cheat that we can't avoid or Mistake that the mode does to mess us up...
There is a game breaking glitch on multiplayer worlds where everyone will just start talking constant damage, dying over and over. This happens consistently every time I play with more than 3 people and has been going on for years through multiple systems and updates. How are they going to release hardcore if stuff like this is taking years to fix
I bedrock bridge wherever I can (Obviously there are some cases where I cannot, when I am too close to the ground for example) but the block still decides to randomly unplace no matter how you bridge. It happens most often withe when I am fully immersed in the game and I enter a flow state. Followed by sounds of shattered glass, and a thump a couple seconds thereafter.
@@toycatI can't perform bedrock bridging. I don't know why it is, but I can never consistently get the block to place in front of me. I just stick with the ol' crouch and backwalk method.
Broken nether spawns are already a thing on bedrock. I don’t know how many times I spawned only to fall directly over lava only to literally die immediately. I still get nervous over nether spawns now because of this.
I guess the problem is that if there is a risk of that happening, it could possibly happen to something who spent years on a hardcore world. Which would suck.
Probably becuz this mentioned reason have not been fulfilled to get bugged: 1. Multi player 2. Low end Device 3. MOBILE 4. Going way to far from spawn like 1k+ 5. Ancient Data
Microsoft Q: What feature could we add that would require fixing half the rendering bugs in bedrock? Microsoft A: Hardcore! They use hardcore as motivation for their developers to fix these crazy death bugs. They’re not only adding it for parity, but instead as a big brain plan to hit two birds with one stone.
The issue is that lots of bedrock players play on lower end devices and it lags a lot. I used to play on a laggier device and I would fall from high places and the game would make me take damage a couple minutes later. It’s not randomly killing them, their device just kinda sucks
@@Unchained1918it is there fault when it’s running poorly on a last gen console though, performance was the main reason i stopped playing it on my xbox one s
that's true, but in some ways I believe bedrock is better optimized than java, especially seeing how on some higher end devices 60 something chunk render distance is possible
@@chef6752 exactly, on higher end devices, it’s still a massive optimisation problem if the console that bedrock was launched on, cannot run it at a consistent frame rate
Can confirm there's random things that can cause you to die. The other day I went through my nether portal, died nothing (looked like I suffocated) then went back to get my stuff and there was nothing there. I was so annoyed because I had all my best loot on me...... But thank god for villager trading
theres a bug where if you go through the portal you sometimes clip in a wall behind (or front if you prefer) of your portal (it only happens in the nether)
I've heard someone said that random damage can also be a cause of a trident killer, it is due to some mobs having some enchantment of thorns on their armor and being impaled rapidly, thus, reflecting back the damage to the owner. I also experienced the same thing before and after someone enlightened me, it is now makes more sense
Much more common on lower end devices. And obviously they can't just decide to add it anyways without fixing the issues, because people on those devices would like to be able to play Hardcore as well without worrying about random deaths.
Would be cool if they released an item that could conjure the dead back to life that way friends can revive you. Make it a hard object to find, craft, or brew though.
@@terrancesweetman7285what an immaculate, incredible, perfectly tailored answer, really just a marvel of modern literature in such an incredible response, “No”, truly genius! Bravo Vince!
Editor Amble here! Sorry for this slip up! I always at least triple check the videos and even then it still passes me and Toycat during the video check. Sometimes we get away with mistakes like these as most people may not notice them and yet, here we are. You're right, I'll try do better on the next one :) Thank you!
@@RogerMollet I hope it never happens to you I fell into the void on my long term world once luckily I had a back up the best bug is loading in to see your dead
@@RogerMollet my world become laggy after I switch to java then back to MCPE just to get the god armor. I now have two portals in the end, multiple end gateways on top of each other. The main end island got wider always teleport to y 0 when using an end gateway to go back to the main end island which causes me to lose most of my netherite tools and elytra
as someone who played on bedrock for 7 years, it used to happen to me all of the time. you could chop it up to internet for the first 5, but after getting the best wi-fi in my area (1000 megabits/sec), it still happened just as much in my last 2
The random death seem to do a lot with connections, I used to have bad internet and had these happen, but when I got my new interenet I've never had these happen again
If they're ever gonna manage to get rid of those bugs, they don't have a choice but to ditch Microsoft who will just get in the way and add even worse (more severe and more easily occurring) versons of the death bugs that got patched. In fact, even *if* they do add it, and that's a *HUGE* if with Microsoft around, I won't even play it until or unless I start seeing signs that Microsoft isn't in the picture anymore.
@@rhysamoment Not if I had anything to say and/or do about it. I'd make damn sure they're completely gone too. As in even the microtransactions won't allow Microsoft to have any involvement since that might as well have been considered money laundering which is almost as serious of a crime as spyware
I play bedrock all the time and I have to say if they are gonna waste time they might as well just fix their game and forget about hardcore cause bedrock has to be the worst Minecraft version because of its insane lag both offline and online
I remember before all of this, around 1.16 era, i would go from creative to survival in the air with a totem and then the totem would pop before killing me from fall damage afterwards.
I still have no idea how the game lags while being offline. I have been playing for 4 years now on bedrock and I have experienced so many bugs and glitches while playing offline and even if I was connected to the internet, my world wouldn't allow multiplayer since I don't have ps plus (I play on playstation) I seriously still wonder how tho??? Legacy edition for example had nothing like this and I grew up playing that version of the game on the PS3 since I was 7
Hello Pytahh, Editor Amble here! Thank you for showing support towards our work on these shorts! We hope that we can keep on pushing towards making them better. Have a wonderful day! 💚
I feel like a lot of peoples opinions on this directly coorelate with how common they feel like the bugs are. Even if its a 1/1.3028e33^6161% chance of happening, they are still bugs that completely invalidate hardcore worlds. Why would you dedicate years of work to something that can be taken from you in an instant from an unintended feature of the game? Most people wouldnt, and that's the entire methodology to how Mojang is approaching the situation. If anything, more games should use the same approach. Mojang doesnt want to add these big features when there's bugs that invalidate said feature, but many big companies are shipping almost downright broken messes on launch now
So basically every time they drop a decent sized update then they now have to disable hardcore again until “they’re confident” ? Seems to me the better and more realistic option is that it’s NEVER coming to bedrock. They shouldve never put it in beta versions if they have no clue how to optimize bedrock
I never had issues until one day i "fell into the void" in the End while a chunk was loading 😭 lost all my best gear, overworld trident rain flying is so much safer because theres just an invisible wall with no damage but the end is terrifying 💀
I don't know I would play hardcore like it's in the preview right now. Just put a warning label on it but please release it already. My survival world is 2258 days old now on ps4 edition without any deaths yet. It's fine as it is
Falling because of making a bridge? HAAAA that’s nothing, you don’t know what is to get into the portal and automatically fall into the void before the loading screen goes away, nether and end portal, that glitch sucks
People always complain about game breaking bugs but I have never experienced any. I've played on pocket edition since it came out, played bedrock on my PC, PlayStation and others and have never seen one of these glitches.
Idk if its just me or ppl over-exaggerate on how often do these deaths occur, cause in my lifetime of only playing bedrock since my childhood, never have I ever ran across these unusual deaths.
I was playing with my friend on a realm and i went to go through the end portal and it teleported me into the void and lost everything. if that was hardcore I would sell my ps5
I got killed by piglins whilst loading into the nether, I wasn't wearing gold Armour and they ate through my totem of undying and! Killed me I could do anything as my game was in a LOADING SCREEN!!
I feel real bad for the bedrock players here, despite how much I find bedrock edition to be yucky. its a shame that if you truly want to play hardcore safely, you'll need to be on java
Tbh I play bedrock a lot and have been playing for about 3 months and never faced this problem. All there is that some time I randomly take damage but it is very low like half a heart
I died a month ago to a creeper that exploded after i killed it and i ran over it to pick up xp and gunpowder not to mention i was also in full diamond
Idk why but for so many years I have not yet encountered some things like this on bedrock edition, Ive been playing for 7 years and yet had no encounter with these bugs.
I died from a death bug and that was a fair reason to cheat and switch to a copied world. If I die due to a normal game function, I take accountability.
I just remembered a time where my brother and I used to play together in like 1.13, then we slept on our beds, but there was a block over our beds so we suffocated and died. We then respawned and couldnt find our armor
And the ghasts in the nether when shooting their fireballs, and at first they’re not visible, so you have to punch where you think it is in order to return it to sender lol
I completely agree because just last week I was flying with elytra and I randomly just get the ability to fly and then instantly die even though I had a totem
Like I’m playing on an Xbox series X, a game that can run other games at 120 fps, why is my game struggling to load chunk when I’m flying with an elytra causing me to die😒
As someone who has a world that is nearly 8 years old on bedrock which to Toy Cats dismay is on a survival islands preset I would agree that bedrock shouldn’t have hardcore at the moment
