as a gold killjoy who just recently found your content this vod review is like everything to me. only kj content i see is usually setup/lineups. i currently have a case of lineupitis and knew it was a problem but felt like i couldnt break out of it because i was kj thats all i can do, play my mollies. kinda needed the call out. im trying to grind out this act and next to hopefully hit plat. i was hardstuck bronze for a year then hardstuck silver for a year. just recently hit gold for the first time. i know this content is going to help a lot. thank you for this.
Bro, the conscius and subconscius thing he explained literally made me feel so much better, because Im always an asshole on myself because I think Im always autopiloting
8:44 I honestly disagree with this, you should always check corners when you notice your teammates did not check it if there’s a nonzero chance that someone might be ratting there and clearing the corner doesn’t hurt you. And yes, some golds do have trigger discipline. Even I do. Back when I was in SILVER, a chamber on fracture in a 1v2 tried to play trigger discipline against me and my teammate on A hall. I noticed my teammate did not clear that corner, and sure enough the chamber was right there. We would’ve lost the round if I didn’t clear it and run and gunned the chamber. You might be thinking, why would these low elo players know something like trigger discipline? Well they watch too much TikTok seeing higher ranks getting many kills doing it 😂. I can say I’ve gotten lots of kills like that, and even my bronze friend can do it too
so yeah, you die to it once and spend the next 500 games checking every corner, only to get a kill on the 501th game and have your shitty decision making validated. if they're there, just die and adjust next round.
True. I’m bronze and I do that if multiple people run back. But I am also bronze because my aim is not good enough to get all of them before they kill me.
