I believe it will be just under 100% like 99. Some % for me and I’m not sure if I should drive a bit to get to a better spot or not

@@Liverpool1616have you seen one at 100% before? It’s pretty spectacular. 30 minutes would be a trip to the grocery store. I’d drive an hour or even two for true totality

I feel so sad...i took my 7 year ...drove for 6 hours...and due to traffice..we could see only 99.4%...another hour of drive would have made the difference

Maybe I'm easily impressed but I was so happy and in awe overwhelmed with emotion that I cried from a 95% solar eclipse. The 64% eclipse I saw in 2017 was cool. But OMG........I think I get it why people say it's life-changing. I live in Massachusetts for reference. I'll be 44 in 2045, definitely gonna drive to see 100% totality. I bet I'll faint during totality.

I live in Cincinnati, OH and some in Cincinnati areas were 99% totality and I was lucky enough to have 100% of totality.

We are in san Antonio, Texas it's 99 percent, but we have some thunderstorms coming in on Saturday till Wednesday 😢 so sad won't be able to see it. And it would be my first time to get to see it. I won't be able to go anywhere else. 😢 if iam good l might be able to see some but not sure.

I haven't heard anybody talk about being right on the edge. Like in totality but only for a few seconds. Maybe being on the edge of that cosmic shadow is a special experience you wouldn't get if more in the center. Just saying, wouldn't have to drive

@@megan722he means the crescent is what you’ll see if you have eclipse glasses on. Without the glasses you wouldn’t be able to look at the sun cause for one it’ll blind you but secondly it’ll still be super bright. So should you get into the totality path? Yes absolutely it 100% makes the difference.

@@beemo9 it will be noticeably darker compared to a normal day, but you won’t be able to actually look at the eclipse with your bare eyes nor will you be able to see the corona or anything like that.
