Drove 3 hours to get in totality in Ohio. it was UNBELIEVABLE. One of the coolest things I have ever experienced. Pictures and video just do NOT do it justice. You could see the Coronal Mass Ejections with the naked eye as well as the stars and the corona of the sun..which looked almost completely white. Also the Diamond Ring effect at the end of the eclipse was just incredible to see.. It was SO cool to be there.
I wish I drove the 2-3 ish hours. We had a partial eclipse here, and I waited till the last minute to look for glasses, and nobody had em. It wasn't dark, but definitely was dim.enough that as I was driving, you could see the sunlight,and my headlights popped on. Looking out my back window of my house, it looked like a great sunny day outside, but it was so dim and strange. So I got to enjoy some.of it.but I'm sad I gotta wait 20 years to try again
I drove 5 hours (should have been 3 but traffic was horrendous!) to Indianapolis and happy I did it. I almost didn't. I had to shuffle things around with work and it was inconvenient, but I decided to go through with it last minute. The whole way, especially after traffic got bad, I kept thinking I should've just stayed home. Even as the eclipse started, I was watching it and thinking, "Was this worth all that?" As totality occurred, I thought, "Oh, yeah, it was worth it!" Hard to explain why, but it was just really awesome to watch. Got some pretty cool pictures (amateurish, but I still like them). Just a really cool experience. They got 90% coverage where I live, but that extra little bit that gets you totality is really something amazing. Super happy I did it, and I will do it again if the opportunity ever comes up!
I came up with the theory that space is GODS body and the Eclipse was his eye 👁️ it only makes sense. There was a rainbow 🌈 orb then a cross with a diamond 💎 in the middle of it….ive never seen something so amazingly unbelievable
Saw this one in person in Texas right in the center. Unless you see this in person there are no words to describe what it is like. What I saw today was the most beautiful & incredible thing I have EVER witnessed. If you haven't seen one of these total solar eclipses, you need to do it in your lifetime. It had a profound impact on me, & I can't quite explain how.

I'm glad I got to experience it only with a few loved ones and not a huge crowd. It seemed fun but I must say, hearing crickets being confused was much more interest.
When I saw the last one 7 years ago, I had to travel 1/2 way across the country to get in the path. I was in very bad health at the time with little hope of recovery. I knew the next eclipse was 7 years ago and didn't think I would survive to see it. So I can really identify with this man exclaiming "WE DID IT!".
This was my second Total eclipse in the path of Totality and I don’t care what kind of camera, lens, filter, telescope or whatever you have it makes a great image of what you see but truly it doesn’t hold a candle to actually seeing the filaments of bright pink and purple ejecting from the sun with the corona shining like a black holes event horizon. The best way I can describe it is like a black hole 🕳️ blocking out the sun in the middle of the day with electricity shooting around the edges. This truly was an amazing experience and it was so much better then 2017! See you in 2044!
I had no idea just how emotional this would be. It was like a religious experience, sort of. I love the way it brought everyone together. Gotta always capture these moments on camera.

That one presenter proclaiming on a microphone "WE DID IT!!" really sums up most people. Nature and reality doing its thing, we're lucky to be alive at all, and we look up at a total eclipse and say WE did it. Pouring a drink, of course we have to consume a beverage, we have to add all these things to the experience. People are so far up their own ass its incredible.

What an amazing experience. I saw it in Texas. Then a week later found out my best friend had died on Apr 8. I took a very good picture of the totality and dedicated it to her. Stephanie Abrams reactions to these last two eclipses are awesome. She gets it, the beauty and awe that nature has seen fit to give us in these rare moments.

My father and I were at a co-workers wedding on the day of the eclipse. We both cried and were very emotionally moved. By far the best memory ill have. So glad we got to experience this event together ❤️

Very surreal moment. I'm very happy I got to see it at least once in person. The universe we live in is incredibly beautiful and amazing. The fact that something like this even exists is beyond words to me.
I was in Kerrville Texas and most of us didn't see much of the eclipse due to too much low and mid cloudiness. We experienced only 4 minutes 30+ seconds of darkness which is like dark twilight. The clouds around the horizon was lit by some effects of the distance sunlight. It was just dark twilight for us but dang clouds hid the eclipsed sun from completely seeing it.
Ofcourse it had to be cloudy af in Toronto Yesterday and perfectly clear the day before AND today. It was still kinda cool to see the daytime sky get dark but it was a bummer for sure.
Having this is like understanding another birth happened for humanity. It engages many, like having begun a Peloton subscription after decades of inactivity, and the commercials for Peloton acquaint us with that emotion in their first commercial. Believe that we can now see the sun safety. This is kind of proving that the human experience adapts, but also evolves through, and during the in-between eclipse periods of life.
Saw total coverage in Indianapolis out in an open field. Better than 2017, which went right over our house in St Louis, but there was a lot of light pollution.
It was an amazing eclipse! Me personally I have been waiting since 2012 for that and during I think I was the loudest screaming person lol! I'm usually really quiet so weird lol

Solar eclipses have been happening for millions and millions of years. I would say that eclipses are pretty poor signs of the End Times. Maybe an eternally postponed End Times, eh?
Right after the Eclipse, I watched Danny Boyle’s 2007 (Sunshine). Such a visually beautiful film. And the soundtrack is a 9/10 in several parts. But the ending, it’s either a take it or leave it situation. All these years later it’s awesome to watch the movie again under the circumstances of being able to see totality for the first time in my life. After Sunshine, I watched my favorite movie of all time. Robert Zemeckis’s 1997 (Contact) with Jodie Foster. It’s an 11/10 as far as I’m concerned.
I saw the one in 2017, nobody cared and millions of people didn't see it. This 2024 eclipse was better, because the Sun is in full intensity and the totality was 4 minutes long. I understand it's an incredible event, some people find this as a religious experience. I think it's an experience that shows us, there's higher forms of intelligence in the universe. That being said, I don't think that God would block his own Sun, from shining down on the Earth. God wouldn't confuse the animals and people of Earth. There's a reason people are getting emotional at the Moon and the sky, that reason it's the Moon itself. I hate to say it, but people act stupid for the eclipse, they have no clue what it is, they are convinced it's beautiful. I thought I was seeing God for a moment there as well. They could be looking at anything, no clue why they are emotional. You are emotional cause the Sun just got blocked by a foreign object, a huge one that's never supposed to be there. This is the same reason that the birds are getting emotional and the bats and insects too, they don't know about God or religion. They understand there's a large foreign object, invading on their personal space and eclipsing the Sun, of all things. Let's be real, this event is beyond spooky, this time was even spookier and crazier than 2017. I think there's a reason that historically it's a bad sign. The old people thought it was supernatural, nowadays most people think God had something to do with this. I am thinking none of the above, nope I think it's a artificial Moon. This event was never natural, at all. A type 2 civilization existed, they pushed the Moon right where it is from some other solar system. This was also concluded, by teams of scientists working together in Russia. NASA also knows something, calling the eclipse a "wonderful coincidence for us". No it's not though, because life isn't a coincidence. The implications speak for themselves, if you think about the situation and process this information. It wouldn't take God to move that Moon, or move some planet around, It would take a type 2 civilization, only. God is a Omnipotent being, not a personal Santa Claus for me, for you or anyone else. Santa is also not responsible, for the eclipse. This is just a big lemonade stand in the sky, not a big deal. Give me 100 more years on this planet, we will get Mars a new Moon, we will terra-form Mars just like our ancestors terra-formed the Earth, using mass displacement. Stop blaming God, magic or something supernatural for any kind of advanced technology that's unfamiliar, many things can be possible down the road. I believe the Moon's purpose was to terra-form the climate and tides, via orbital governance of Earth, based on the 0.25% size and scale of the Sun, that object that drives the orbit of Earth. This massive Moon, nullifying Earths natural orbit and giving it a precession of the equinox. Precession would never exist, without the precise Moon placement, the oceans and tides would spill out all over. We can reverse engineer the thing, starting with 1/400th or 0.25% mass of the Sun, this fraction is how I can tell it's been designed, It's a terra-former that uses mass displacement, it did not need to adjust more than 0.25% of the Suns gravity. Otherwise, we could do a Canon of 200, make the Moon 200 times smaller and 200 times closer than the Sun, and that would be the same exact mass effect in orbit, wouldn't it ?. This would just take an extra large, double sized Moon but twice as far away. If we did a Canon of 600, the Moon would hit Earth. The Canon of 400 was the equation that worked, the eclipse is the result of a piece of machinery doing it's job, could even be an accident. The math is what would be hardest to work out, for the exact orbit and climate result, so the eclipse is not the main point of all this math, it's Earths climate. Makes no sense to move a Moon, for the sake of blocking out the Sun only during eclipses ?. The odds this eclipse can occur naturally, absolute zero and same goes for the Moon, it's never been okay. The Moon does far too many things at one time, for it not to be considered the main command center of planet Earth. The Moon has always been absolutely insane, it's physical attributes themselves. You add this all together, it's actually very safe to say we have a fake Moon, one based on the size, mass and mathematics of the Sun. I don't care if you believe we are the smartest people to ever live in the universe, we're all stupid people on Earth still, trust me on this one 100%. Most of what people believe makes, 99% absolutely no sense whatsoever, the eclipse in 2024 is documented proof that people are still likely to believe anything, maybe a dragon ate the Sun.

We are so lucky that they can tell you the path of the Eclipse down to the second. Imagine the fear people had thousands or even hundred of years ago when events like this took place.
No fear because they didn't need scientific instruments to see the eclipse or know of it. As above so below. The macro affects the mirco . (Space and us) human inutiiton use to be superhuman back then. Plus we had technology in the 1800's before the last reset just like we do now.
