Fucking same.... "Wu-tang!!!" The scene freeze frames are fucking brilliant as well, when he drops that mop and throws his arms up.... bro.... fucking genius
It was the initial snap that got me. I've done that at work. Where you don't even look at the person and just go off. "get yo muthafuckin hand out my face" lol
The company Viacorp is referencing Viacom who runs Comedy Central. In his Sticks and Stones special, he talks about how the executives would always be subtly condescending. Both are examples
Actually, these 'keeping it real goes wrong' skits have improved my life. So many times my instinct is to do something stupid but then I remember these skits and it reminds me to keep playing the game and wearing the masks to come out on top in the end.
@@guru_basketball_kiero I've learned the hard way before and kept it real gone wrong. Luckily, it worked out for me in the long run, but now I know not to keep it all the way real anymore!
@@goose2760 - I am winning all the way to the bank so far. It's easier if you just play it all like its a game. Some people can play the game well and prosper while others are clueless and lose it. Then they end up living life "as real as it gets", LOL!
People's faces would explode i tell ya! Nowadays u call a girly-man a male, he gets triggered, and goes into depression, and may even sue you for assuming his gender lol.
That's the best part. I so related to that. I used to have a close friend with a white boyfriend who always greeted me with "What's up girlfriend!?!" In this awful black lady voice and it just killed a piece of my soul every single time 😭
@@fangal12 oh no. I get people right together when they do that crap. I ask them, "Is it because I'm black? And they get so embarrassed.. that'll teach people to come with ridiculousness.
@Vinnie Provolone I was reveling in what I thought was mutual love for this skit. As I scrolled down, some girl named Lena started keeping it "realer". Shots fired! She went OFF!
My coworker said "sit yo ass back down" to our supervisor once. I wanted to laugh so bad (he deserved it) but she didn't lose her job. He was not liked so he would've had a hard time finding witnesses.
@@thebreakfastmegapowers3525 nah.. I got bills.. you can only keep it real if u own your own business and even then u cant let your emotions be your demise..
This is so accurate. Our people get so caught up trying to “keep it real” but end up screwing themselves over in the end. Dave was a master of subtlety exposing our cultural deficiencies and masking it with comedic gold. There may never be another like him 🐐
I'm close to a change in career after years of not being happy with my current job. I think I'm going to go out just like this. Barking and shouting, "Wu Tang!"
Quite possibly the most realist skit ever. So many people lost good paying jobs because they lost their cool, and end up working at shit jobs because no one else who pays good wants them.
@@gav2027 there are ways to subtly disregard someones disrespect. No harm no foul, if you do not vibe with them, you do not vibe with them. Emotional Outburst is never neccesary.
One of the most underrated skits...because this is really how thin the line can be. This is funny as hell, but so damn true. You have to overachieve and then work against decades of built up biases and prejudices many don't even acknowledge having. And one misstep can put you right back in the spot you worked your whole life to come from.
COINTELPRO, perfectly displayed... Only now it's spread to other societal groups. Which explains the 'woke' movement. Sabotage of certain groups which challenge the corporatist regime. Controlled opposition.
@@MiG2880 If only people were smart enough to understand that, they'd say less and use their money to DO more. Plans work best undercover. Idiots are too loud and give their opposition the opportunity to counter act. It's hilarious to see.
Allen Iverson about practice, fake? No. Real yes. Latrell Sprewell choked coach, fake? No. Real yes. KD's sub accounts, fake? No. Coz he hurt for real? Maybe. Erbody knows you never go full real.
I discovered this skit a couple of days ago, can’t keep watching in loop. The off voice is just deadly efficient. “Get your motherfucking hand outta my face.” “Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is HOV.” And the barking scene. Wow. Masterpiece
The older I get, the more accurate this skit is. I've worked with several black coworkers that have had that exact freeze frame face when people try too hard to "talk black". It's human to emulate others and can even be flattering. But it can be too much sometimes. Also I've def seen them get in more trouble for raising their voice than I have when I got frustrated at work. Skit is hilarious but there's a lot of truth in it too. That was always Chappelle's strength. He was unmatched in his prime.
