Sometimes you wonder why does Riot always try to be extra, so extra that it ruined the game. Then you remember, it's probably to satisfy the current generation. Then you remember again that the current generation also thinks they ruined the game.

Sad thing is the Idea is good. Dota 2 has a similar Hero named Rubick who steals abilities. It is just that Riot has programmed all these Heroes in such a static manner that interactions outside of their box nearly always requires extra work so that they don't break. And Riot is too lazy to often do that extra work.

To be fair Ability Yoinking never goes great xD Overwatches Echo also had a fair share of bugs at the start xd and even then it's considered rly powerful

Was this set of bugs related to the same ones Sylas had, if you know? Those were really interesting to see explained and due to the nature of stealing abilities it seems like the cause may be similar.

yea i was playing morde top and i got pinged to go to jungle, and viego killed our himerdingdong and proceeded to 1v3 us, i come from payday 2 so perfect balancing like this is nothing new

@@primary_magic1227 Wasn't a "Bug" per-se, more of an exploit. People that used it got banned because you'd have to edit game files to change Ashe's old Q's targeting type so she could cast it on allies, then it changed Azir's W to his passive.

It's because the bug made these abilities go over Viego's auto-attack instead of his abilities, and so they have perfect CD reduction because the game doesn't recognise that there is a CD in the first place. I assume that the cast time is being read as the AA timer if anything is being read as an AA timer and the game isn't just resorting to a default AA timer (makes sense because most abilities prevent AA's during the cast time, so making the cast time directly interact with the AA timer is fairly logical. I assume that there is a default AA timer somewhere in the code, to prevent any desync or glitches that cause a missing AA timer resulting in an instant crash from an unhandled Null Pointer Exception).

there's cast time you know, or else you can cast multiple spells at the same time and have crazy burst. In fact, certain animations can be canceled if you have quick fingers. But for autos, it's called timer (as mentioned above, thanks) and it doesn't seem to be capped.

@@Vandiril Actually it has the same effect, you could shoot Brand ults every auto attacks and most interractions are the same than with Viago, Syndra moving enemies randomly, Twitch throwing his W every autoattack, it was all due to an Ashe exploit

It is actually the same Issue. Ashe Q swaps to the "hidden" Skillslot, which with the Exploit it did for other Team Members and not just yourself, which ended In Brand Ults on Auto Attack and so on. With this bug, Viego's Autoattack swaps to the hidden Skillslot to get the double Auto, but when used while transforming into something else, it will instead swap to the new transformed one, which results in the same effect as the old exploit.

@@yorik1006 i belive it was value asinged to auto attacks, like normally it was 1, ashe's q changed it fot ex. to 65 and exploit forced this change to apply to champions chosen on script gui. And fortunately or not certain abilities like: Azir passive Brand R Sivir Q Fiddle crow Panth R.. (and many more) Had same value with resulted in spells every auto attack.

The azir turrets are probably coded as a pet summon and behaves as such. Well, not sure if actual turrets themselves are even coded as a separate entity or if they're minions too

@@Roflmao6173 if i'm not wrong Azir's turrets are targeted like common turrets do. If your minions start to hit them, they will not focus a champ that hits you
