Joe, looks like you need a pipe roller stand set between the two tables to keep the logs from falling through. Could be attached to the log table for more stability.
@ohiowoodburner
@ohiowoodburner 27 дней назад
I had thought of something like that but these occurrences are rare. I like the space to be open bc I pass thru it a lot

Maybe a pipe roller hinged to the jappa and folding up like a bar top pass through?@@ohiowoodburner

Pretty cool that engine can handle the outfeed conveyor, perfect clean conveyor, barrel cleaner, ram and saw all at the same time. And I don’t even see the ram slow down. I’ve seen processors where you can’t run the saw and ram at the same time.
@ohiowoodburner
@ohiowoodburner 27 дней назад
I understand that newer 405s have a larger engine than mine. Mine is the D409 which is 25 hp. It seems at times I wish it had more power but it comes down to how you adjust your saw motor.

A couple bolts and a scrap piece of bed liner would solve any log from ever getting hung up in that knot so sweet spot again I mention bed liners because they can be easily found extremely reasonable at times free and they are slick as snot yet can take the abuse of just about any application

Could be worse. I've had a chainsaw knocked out of my hands twice when bucking logs in a pile that the log truck stacked up. Skidder Kev once told me that they've had log piles shift and come tumbling down quite some time after they pulled logs from said pile. A little warmth thawed the logs enough to allow them to roll.

You and Chris in the wood 🪵 yard got the same PROBLEM fight him waste boiler logs 🪵. Just take the old way with a chainsaw and blocks it up 🆙. Chris this morning cut straight stuff with his chainsaw and probably tmw fight with junk wood 🪵 going threw 22MB . Must be for more times on U tube I was a guessing man joe . 😮
