As we all know. When we see Tony Jaa perform his unbelievable skills on screen. It is clear, no matter how many times you watch a UFC event, or RU-vid vids portraying these type of feats. No one can truly live up to, or replicate these moves better then the man his self. If it wasn't for Ong Bak and Jaa's talent. These vids or clips wouldn't even be possible.

The reason why no one does these moves anymore isn't because they are hard (don't get me wrong though, they ARE hard), it's because they're stupid. Imagine in real life someone goes for a frontflip kick. Let's say you get punched in mid air. Or you miss the head, or miss entirely. Or they take it and keep going. And where do video games move inspired from? A martial arts+imagination
@sabresessh4081
@sabresessh4081 4 года назад
I agree with Omid H, almost every move is real or based on a technique of martial arts in movies or videogames. The reason why people don't do some of these moves I think is because it's too risky meaning they'll be wide open or countered unless the Martial artist is really sure of himself and knows his opponent also he is several steps ahead of him. Personally I think it depends on the Situation the Person And the Mindset.

Muay Thai is a complete art.
@Chrims27
@Chrims27 5 лет назад
It doesn't teach takedowns (sweeps could conpansate this if you are good at them) and ground fighting so it's not 100% complete, you have to complement it with BJJ or Judo if you want total completion. It's still an almost complete art so it's level of completion on it's own is satisfying unless you are really into MMA

Most aren't "martial art fantasies" just because you happen to see them in some film. Flying knees, spinning kicks, are widely used in MMA. Many taekwondo kicks exist solely within Taekwondo because of how useless they are in a pure combat sport, but they aren't new either. Many others are pretty bad though, in a real fight opening the aggressor up for painfully easy counters or putting him in a bad position to get his face smashed in.

0:55 I used to train when in was younger. I got to a point I started thinking differently and gravitated to ending a fight as fast as possible at any cost. I spent a long time developing one move that was designed to confuse the target and make them.shuffle back. At this point I had the momentum and would end up breaking a leg possibly 2 at the knees. I stopped fighting when aids seemed took over the area I live in and finally just stopped when everyone began carying guns. Not much you can do with your body to beat a gun. When insane this I thought it was mine but turned out to be one of the best out of the blue kicks I've ever seen in my life. I've watched this a dozen times in the past and still amazes me.
