When I first saw this scene, I applauded and had goosebumps! Whenever someone asks me why Tom Hardy is one of my favorite actors I just show them this film!
One of the most iconic scenes in cinema history and such a shame that it’s so hidden and underrated amongst so much dogsh*t that people consume. Tom deserves so much more recognition for this role, and this scene specifically, truly a masterpiece, even from the director, the audio in this scene, hearing how raw and guttural the “switch” is when he turns into the other person, and then the whimsical music when he’s the women, to the brooding music when he’s Charles. It’s just so good it brings tears to my eyes.
Thank you so much for posting this scene. I've been looking everywhere for it. This is one of the greatest performances of all time. Tom Hardy and Nicolas Winding Refn are living legends in their own right.
TOM'S PERFORMANCE IS BRILLIANT IN THIS FILM. FUN FACT: THE REAL BRONSON SIGNED MY BOOK ABOUT PRISON WORK OUTS THAT HE WROTE. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE. .....HE WRITES HIS FANS BACK.
You know it's a shame that he never got nominated for his role as bronson... man was born to play that guy, it's a shame he hasn't won an oscar but tbh he's just too great for an oscar, tom hardy is a legend forever!!
i just finished watching this movie for the 1st time...and it was BRILLIANT! i liked it personally-- oh fuck that, i loved it! it was exciting! it was on the edge! it was madness at its VERY BEST!!
If this film had been more widely seen when new, Tom Hardy would be a household name. Now I'll get some ass telling me that his name IS a household item. For fuck's sake.
Thank you!! I was trying to figure out what he said at the part of "Mr. White recovered, dear." My copy of the movie is not so...legal, thus a lack of subtitles. xD
