I remembered how much that game sucked lol. You did us well, miricle saves and a lucky goal, that's why the FA cup is so special. Don't scream too much though, there's not much oxygen up there😂
Trippiers debut, me and my brother went to this game Cambridge were good and we couldnt break them down. Not a humiliation to say on the day we just didnt take our chances and they did. Side note my brother was conflicted when they won become he had a football manager save with Cambridge lmao.
There’s a lot more where that came from: Newcastle United have lost home draws to the likes of Bradford Park Avenue, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, United, Peterborough, Bedford town, Carlisle, United, Hereford United, Wrexham, Chester City, and Exeter City. In one year when they actually made it to the final, the campaign was begun with a 1-1 draw at home to Hendon. So I hope to high heaven that they’re drawn at home to Maidstone in the next round of this year’s cup! 😂
@lucasmcvay593 Joelinton, Murphy, and Shar. Three of our players in that game are either retired or play in the national league. Two of our players are now in league 2.
God, I remember that day like it was yesterday. We had new money hit were still getting splattered by goddamn Cambridge: thank god we broke the curse this year, especially against who we played.
I would have said Villa was more embarrassing last season. Stevenage or something like that at home. This wasn't even our worst FA Cup loss in my lifetime i would have said Stevenage 3-1 away in 2011 was our worst
Well the takeover must’ve happened. Because I remember it was trippier debut. The takeover was in October or November, one of the two and this game was in January I went to watch it
I think City or Liverpool coming from a Citeh fan for 11 years btw. But i think Liverpool will beat Man City or Leeds in the final dunnow why i said Leeds.
Humiliated? Was at the game and it was 90 mins of Cambridge getting made our bitch. One lucky break and a scramble in the box and they score and it’s seen as a humiliation 😂
No where near the upset League two side Bradford City inflicted on reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea had not lost at home that year and a squad that cost a total of £7,500 beat a squad that cost over £250,000000 🤷🏻♂️
