@@DonnyDevvo Till got the early hype cuz he went through the ranks quickly. Till was finishing guys while Leon was squeaking out decisions. Leon had support for the rematch with Usman, even when Jorge was dissing him. It became stronger after he beat Diaz. Leon has to take some of the blame for sitting out for long durations, while most contenders fight 3-4 times an year for several years to get a title shot. Not saying Leon wasn't ignored by the UFC, the media and the fans but He had a lot of backers against Masvidal, including me. I knew Leon's striking technique was miles ahead of "Street Jesus" and He would beat him handily on the cards, if not finish him. Didn't fancy him against Usman in the second fight but he pulled a rabbit outta the hat on that one.

Thompson is just the perfect type of person to be a professional fighter. He doesn't trash people behind their back or on social media. He is respectable. In addition, his fight IQ is insane.

Yep I think his background is also crazy aswell growing up in Jamaica, moving to Birmingham a very violent city surrounded by gangs, his dad getting killed in london, all that stuff didn't set him back that's dedication right there
