When Parents Go Too Far to Help Their Kids 

That’s crazy, he didn’t even know his daughter was there. He was just going to arrest that kid for nothing

If the daughter wasn’t there he was going to arrest the kid for no reason

Cop: "you're going to jail". Suspect: "for what". Cop: "we'll make that up as we go". This is another example as to the reason why people hate and don't trust cops.

The dad in the first story is outrageous. He is the reason why people hate cops. Honestly he should have been in prison; not only did he use his use his power against his daughter and her boyfriend, he put a bad taste in peoples mouths

"We'll make ______ up as we go." I appreciate his honesty about his dishonesty.

The first cop not only lost his job, but also the trust of his daughter. He misused his power as both a cop and a father.

“I think my daughter is suicidal so I’m going to take away the boy she deeply cares about” - the cop

That’s not an ‘emotional parent’- it’s an abuser, who also happens to be a parent. Im sending my love to the daughter, I can’t imagine what this was like for her. She must have been terrified that her father was going to shoot her boyfriend and/or herself. She was madly in love with this young man, & evidently shared no values with racists but carries the burden of shame, feeling she is a representative of her family/father. May she now be safe and happy, and continuing to heal. No matter what happened between her and her love, I hope they still have a friendship or at least send one another thoughts of love & respect when they think of each other. How this didn’t end in a triple murder suicide that day is nothing short of miraculous.

And now his relationship with his daughter is shattered and he's unemployed. Way to go genius.

The first father was ridiculous. I was scared for the bf but then was scared for the daughter. She NEVER stated she was going to self harm. She said if I can't be with him I don't want to be here! As in under your roof most likely. To threaten to place her in a facility is frightening. I hope she has a good mother.

Most likely the cop was going to plant drugs on his daughter’s boyfriend but changed his mind once realizing his daughter was also in the car. What a vindictive & controlling individual!

The first cop is absolutely disgusting. The fact that he forced his daughter’s boyfriend into his cop car, then threw him out in order to force his own child crying and screaming into a car while telling lies about her, it blows my mind. And I can take one guess as to why the cop called that young man a bad boyfriend: Racism.

The last boy’s story is so sweet and great☺️ He has such a big heart and I don’t think I would’ve even thought about leaving my sweets for others when I was his age.

He didn't just violate the police standards of conduct. He violated the constitution by arresting somebody and not telling them why. Of course that's assuming he had a reason.

My son at the age 6 after we came back from trick-or-treating he wanted to give candy out too. So he started to give out his candy 🍬 without me saying nothing to him about doing so. But that shows his character in wanting to bring a smile to others. And I became disabled he was 1 year old but he always helped me and still does but now I have a 6 year daughter who does the same. She was my surprise blessing because of all diseases I didn't think I could ever have anymore children.

What would that cop have done if daughter wasn't there to catch him in the act. From the moment he saw her, he knew he was screwed. the "goodbye!" wasn't enough to save him
