I went to Egypt so you don't have to. Cairo is a massive city with more than 10 million people living in it, do they all eat pigeons? Pyramids of Giza will blow your mind, as will the constant honking. #egypt #cairo #pyramids
Sure, if I didn't think they were farmed from the streets where they eat trash and plastic ^^" But I eat chickens and ducks - pigeons are not that different to me.
When I was a kid we had often pigeons for dinner. My uncle bred pigeons for sport and those which were not strong enough or good at races ended up in a pot or oven. The brest meat and the drum sticks taste realy good, also some of the giblets like the heart or the kidney.
well really the reason we have these flying rats in our cities is because we ate the untill the biginn of the 20th century (also post an´ stuff) so eating pigeons is their intended use (and post)
@@_hunter_hunter1048 My Egyptian friend, after we existed the Cairo museum, and were trying to cross the street scolded me and , "No! Don't cross at the crosswalk! It's too dangerous!" She lives in Cairo.
As an Egyptian I find this very humorous 😂😂.. you got a great sense of humor , I realize we Egyptians got a lot to work on and hopefully one day this country will be more tourist friendly ..
Dude that would be great .. alsooooo u should absolutely consider visiting Aswan and if you do holler at ur boy I'll hook you up but not after august this year cuz I'll be out of there by then.. Seriously can't wait to see another one of these videos .. much love ❤️❤️
Please don't become tourist friendly, every single place that became tourist friendly ended up loosing their authenticity and natural charm, I'm literally beginning to think that tourism in that form is just another form of colonialism, I remember traveling before, it was fantastic, everything was different, everything was a challenge, now everything is American tourist ( idiot proof) "paradise", everything is distorted simplified and stripped of its natural charm and authentic soul.... it's actually a nightmare, so please stay the way you naturally are

I did not. Egyptians just see white toursits as a piggie bank. They ripped us off everywhere we went. Wouldn't leave us alone until we gave them money. Cairo is a sithole in itself, but the constant hustlers and beggars bothering you makes it even worse. They scammed us around 40 times in 4 days. Not counting the ones where I haven't realized.
I visited Egypt for the first time last year and this 100% sums up my experience The German license plates were driving me nuts, they are everywhere! But why?!?
There is a huge market for used cars in the middle east. I guess keeping the old license plates is a form of showing off. Or it is just easier to put new plates over the old ones. Has anyone looked, if these are cars manufactured in Germany or just any cars from Germany?🍒
@@theworldaccordingtokirsch The first car was a Fiat, so my guess would be any Cars from Germany. Or they just like to put on old german license Plates.
i can tell you why. When our Cars dont get another approvement from the TÜV, we probably dismiss those cars. They get sent to africa/ME and people there will drive those "bad" cars for another 10-30 years.
I laughed from my heart through the whole video, except screaming I cross the street exactly like you did 😂 I'm Egyptian and I hope you enjoyed your time here, and sorry if you faced any negative things.. ❤️❤️
Your videos are so funny!!! I couldn’t stop laughing with the “dinner has arrived!” You are definitely one of my favorite RU-vid channels out there! Keep up the excellent work!
As an Algerian I enjoyed the Arabic translation , your video is funny , Egypt is a great place but it still needs work to get better like any other place , it has it flaws, still maybe the next time you visit it it'd be better , thanks ❤ ( the clothes shop part and 'dinner' were hilarious)
With regards to the idea about building monuments that will be visited by tourists thousands of years from now, there is actually such a project in Bavaria. It's called the Zeitpyramide (time pyramid in English) and it consists of concrete blocks that are added every 10 years. The first block was installed in 1993 and since then 3 more have been added. A total of 120 blocks are planned for the complete pyramid, which means that it will take 1200 years for it to be completed (by the year 3183). Whether or not it will attract as many tourists to rural Bavaria as the pyramids in Giza do is a different question entirely)
Nobody would care about rocks stacked into a pyramid shape in Germany. The interest in pyramids is because of their uses, especially the oldest pyramids that were used as power plants with chambers of chemicals that combined through shafts to create power for an ancient society before the modern Egyptians who had technology.
Omg!! Awesome, always love your content. I grew up in Cairo, Egypt (14yrs there) this made me laugh a lot🤣 and also miss it😭. Crossing the street is always fun, try driving as the traffic police wave you through the red lights. 🤣
My brain seems to be running low or a little out of order or I just was so fascinated by you running and screaming 😆 that I forgot about my english 😅 ... it just popped up in my mind: you screaming while running across the street! Ehm, ja, gosh... I am too tried today. 😉
Cool video, I love your humor😘 It would be cool if you made a video about Istanbul. If you decide to go, we will be happy to show you the nightlife of Istanbul, the Taksim district - there are many clubs there, and it's interesting to hang out in this area. And cheap, which is also nice)
Me as a Pakistani has obsession with Egypt.. 😩... After watching your video, i am not much disappointed 🤧😅 because i can undersrand their situation (Because my own country is going through the same situation).. May Allah give hidaya to our Political leadership..InshAllah one day i will visit this beautiful land... 🥰.. I will love to interact with Egyptian people more than to waste my time on attractions (Exception for Pyramids, Mosques and religious places)..
As a Christian I never understood why do you Muslims use "Allah" when speaking English instead of "God" which is the English word the Divinity. Is Allah a personal name? Isn't simply supposed to be the Arabic word for God which got transmitted into other languages spoken by Muslims? Is there a specific reason not to use "God"? For me as a non-native English speaker it's a weird concept. In Romanian we call Him "Dumnezeu" but we don't use that word when speaking English, of course
@@andreipop5805 well Briefly in our holy quran Our god was mentioned as "allah" a lot and in our book and religion god has so many names other than allan btw But this one is the most famous and used the most Actually god "Allah" has 100 names which was mentioned in our book so we as muslims ofc we like to call our god as "allah" as it is in our religion Not to mention that there is an example of another name like "al raheem" which means the merciful and etc
@@andreipop5805 God and Allah are not the same. God has needs but Allah doesn't. Also Allah is not an Arabic word. It's actually Aramaic word. Jesus also called Allah as the same name because he spoke Aramaic.
When I went to Cairo last year few things shocked me. 1 there is no traffic light, at the beginning didn't know how to cross street. 2 people jumping in/out from driving buses. 3 it's really hard find rubbish bins, when I arrived I looked for rubbish bin for my empty water bottle for 30min until I found out that they dont exist. But people were friendly to me. So I still enjoyed trip
As an Egyptian, we have customs and traditions that should really be modified 😅 And I liked the way you imitate the Egyptians and the way you show the video ❤✌🏼 I hope you are happy in Egypt 🥰❤
As an Egyptian who lives in Berlin I can see pigeons in Bahnhof as a wasted resources. When Germans see them they say it's sky rates but when I see them I fantasize about them as food stuffed with rice .
Man, you so funny, ❤️ For the mall you went to a local mall, it's a poor mall. If you want a good one go to "Mall of Egypt" or "Cairo festival city". Welcome to Egypt 🇪🇬❤️
I've been in Egypt 20 years ago when I was 17 and you made me nostalgic, cause it's exactly the experience I lived then 😄 except I don't think I had the chance of eating pigeon... or maybe I didn't realize it 🤔😅
i was wondering the same thing, my guess is that they want to show that this car was good taken care of because it was used in Germany, i don't think they have something like the TÜV in Egypt^^
that's literally me first day in Lisbon 😀 I was like "ohhh, they put cigarette butts between bricks to walls, that's why you don't see them around trash bins" 😀 I know it's pretty far from Egypt, but it took me also like 2 days to get used to that smell and garbage everywhere.....southern europe. 😀
I laughed too hard at your reaction to the Pigeon (rats with wings) dinner, tbh it did not look that good. I would pass on that, thanks.😂😂😂😂 Loved the video.
I'm Egyptian, you Killed me Man I couldn't stop laughing lol loooooool for an hour. for the The German license plates in Egypt we love and respect any motor or anything made in Germany but unfortunately it's so expensive and ya we are buying it from car accessory shops. for the cross walk don't judge this is normal at any crowded city but i think that the crosswalk at Alexandria steel work lol looool. for the pigeon thanks god you didn't try the other things lol loooooooooooool. i loved your video. enjoy and have a lot of fun.
Visited Cairo in December, can easily relate with your experience 😂. Did you get a chance to travel in the micro bus (old Volkswagen with German number plate)?
Everything seems so chaotic at the beginning but you'll slowly discover some sort of an organized pattern.. just go with flow and you'll find it so enjoyable , you're always welcome mein freund ;)
I think it's actually a pretty good idea to make entrance fees cheaper for natives. Chances are that visitors have more money to spend than the locals (usually, not every single person obviously).
I thought it would be more tourists at the Pyramids.... Looks cool, I was in Egypt 2013, Kings valley and Luxor. Very intense for tourists😁 but wow world's best, nothing beats the Old Egyptians' work. Marsa Alam has great snorkling reefs If you plan to chill
Sadly after the first gulf War tourism dropped off a lot and now since the other gulf war and Arab springs Egypts tourism industry is practically dead, unfortunately. 😪
Lmao the part crossing the street, I come from north Africa living in Europe right now & I'm crossing the roads so randomly I feel like a weirdo doing that because everyone's just standing waiting for ped green light 🤣
I'm german, and I still don't understand why adult pedestrians use the traffic light and wait. Just wait a few seconds until there's no cars, and just cross the street anywhere you want! It's legal too. The only exception would be inner cities, where there's ALWAYS cars.
@@allesdurchprobiert I was visiting friends and family in Germany 2 weeks ago and when I crossed after the cars had passed while the light was still red, I realised I was the only one doing that and I felt really out of place. In the UK, no-one waits for the invisible cars. Even police and parents with kids cross at red if there's nothing coming but I guess folks in Germany wait because they can be fined for crossing at a red light.
@@lazrseagull54 Yes, it's illegal when you are at the lights and just ignore them. But just 3m(?) before and behind the lights it's legal. So, just stay away from the traffic light a bit, if you want to cross. Of course they stared 😂 The other reason why they wait, is that the majority of germans just loooooove to be obedient and submit to authority. That cliché is real! Just look at what we have to say about the destruction of Nordstream 1+2. Nothing. Cause Uncle Sam doesn't even need lube when he fncks us in the ass. We still say thanks.
These prices for locals and foreigners drive me crazy whenever I go outside Europe. It's so discriminatory specially because I'm not from a rich country.
Any more updates on clubs / music / concerts in Berlin? Also thanks for sharing this video, always wanted to go to Egypt but heard so many bad reviews about how scamming is rampant there
Palace at 0:45 : imagine visiting Versailles Palace at the beginning of the 1980s 😉 Wasn't as damaged but it was abandoned as well, you wouldn't imagine it was the King's palace
i am from egypt. love your videos a lot! you are basically correct about the entire experience in egypt it is a hard life even for egyptians themselves😂😂 i going to move to germany very soon just working my german at the moment hope to see you soon one time✌️
