Search for Uhuru YO Bro! Thank You for everything you do! thank you for your vlogs, thank you for giving me a birds eye view of the reality on the ground. I can’t wait until I have the opportunity to get over there and see it for myself. I’ve always wanted to go and visit and I really want to move there one day and you are showing me exactly what I need to see! not the 5star hotels and where white/ or affluent ppl be at you go in the hood with the common folk and me being from the hood here in USA (Philadelphia, PA) I really appreciate that. You have cleared up a lot of misconceptions Ignorant blacks have about the country no matter where we are in the world how long our ancestors have been away that continent is home and little do you know but your videos have helped me make my mind up as to Africa is where I need to be Africa was meant for me and I am meant for it. I work for an airline now and when I get the vacation time to use my traveling privileges I’m trying to make that my first stop. I want to say more but that’s it for now bro thank you though you are appreciated peace, love blessings and safe travels
I hope that one day you'll realize that yes, while Africans are friendly and hospitable, the realization should go more the other way round that Americans are not that hospitable and friendly or personable as people from around the world. I hope more of you guys travel so you can feel what it's like to "live" and not just exist
Search For Uhuru This is so beautiful, I am so happy you show this to the ignorant kind of "Americans" . How wonderful are your journeys, you are so lucky to have experienced this!!!

This video brought tears to my eyes, l am happy to see my people wherever they are and especially on the continent (the mother land) UNITED, I am hungry for unity amongst our people.
"I would rather save money so I can spend my money on experiences. I'm a simple guy"...y'all better take that and apply it! It's so much better to live a simple life. It truly is. The less "things" you attach yourself to the more power you have to never let little things effect you. Love life. Not things.
It's humbling to see how his host comes from such a humbe neighhood/ little luxury but they have so much love and are ready to share- this is priceless! We should be able to host the AAs who want to visit so that they don't spend a lot of money in hotels, make them feel at home so long as one is accepts your neighbourhood ( privileged or less privileged). Hating each other makes us worse than racists.
That is sweet. But you have to be careful with bringing strangers around your children. You don't know what their sexual deviances are. I would say 80 percent are normal and okay. Never leave your children alone with them.
We love black American, through social media we see your fight for equalityand respect in white America. We share your pain and we send our prayers everyday to you and your family and stay safe and wise dont do anything that Will put you in danger.
@@nofrownz I believe in the east side of Africa the Asians built a new city in trade for oil; homes are 70,000 or apartments...brand new not over populated as a matter of fact it only house 20,000 for now but built for 200,000.
@@nofrownz p.s. I wouldn't let anyone know how much money you have just like here in the USA, folks will loosen your pockets real quick if not take you life for a few dimes.
Thanks for saying that. Lots of Americans are under the impression Africans don't like us. Or Africans expelled certain groups from the country into slavery because of dislike. Its sad because we are family. Black Americans feel unwanted by both nations. Black Americans should learn to get back to their roots and culture. Learn the beauty of a place that forged our ancestors into the strong people that fought, worked and died for us to exist. Thanks. Be blessed
Wow I love your video! I'm an American, been living in Ghana for three years. Everything you say about the friendliness of the people and the simple lifestyle is spot-on. Love it here! God bless you in your travels bruh.
Ripley 1156 I'm a Peace Corps volunteer here. No I'm not here to make money for myself, but I've managed to teach my students at a deaf school how to make some money by selling batik fabric. The kids at my school are incredible. Knowing them and contributing to their lives is what I love about being here.
This is really good what you are doing bro. You are connecting the dots. Before you know African Americans will start buying houses and start living part time or full-time in Africa. I can't wait for God to bring you all back home. My heart beats for that day to come. God bless.
Peech Marie we love our African American and diasporan Bantu brothers and sisters even more- COME THRUU!😅ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gmze8ixxw_w.html
This is amazing. Please visit the whole African continent and show our African Americans relative their ancestry land Africa. Not only Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal or West Africa but the whole Africa. Great work.
Hisbeautiful Truth from one Jamaican to another, America is not altogether toxic or altogether artificial, we need to try and see the beauty in everything, or at least try to create beauty inspite of what is happening around us....who knows if repatriating to Africa or Jamaica may not be just as artificial and toxic!😣!
Africa Government is giving Blacks that move to Africa Free Rent and free car and lots and lots of food stamps 3000 a month all blacks just move to Africa
I love you brother we need genuine people that are coming to Africa with great love and humility. And yes those are misconceptions that we don’t like African Americans, We here that they don’t like Africans but we don’t worry about the few.
I love that you are living among real Africans (The locals). I always tell my Ghanaian friends that I have walked in places and communities in Ghana that most of them will not go to. I know the Mamobi area of Accra and have friends there. TRUE MAMOBI STORY TIME: One day, (before I learned to walk on some of the rough African roads. lol) I was walking on a dirt road with lots of pot holes in Mamobi. Well, I miss stepped and I fell down. I literally stopped traffic, that was how bad it was. LOL. The people were so concerned. A Ghanaian friend of mine that was with us asked another Ghanaian, a TOTAL stranger if I can come and use their shower to clean up. They without hesitation said yes. They allowed me to use their shower to clean up and take care of my knee. They did not want or even expect any money in return. How many Americans are going to let a total stranger come in and use their shower? None that I know of. Honestly, because of the criminal culture in America I probably wouldn't have allowed that. At the most Americans would probably pay for them to go somewhere else. Not in Africa. If most LOCAL and AVERAGE Ghanaians can help you, they will! Thanks for sharing. I probably know people that know Nana. Shalom.
Thank you so much brother, and I thank God that more African Americans are traveling to the continent to experience it for themselves. It drives me nuts everytime I hear the age old myths that Africans hate African Americans. It's just not true, we love you all. You know it's a strategy to further divide us. Must be something about us uniting that scares some folks a lot. Enjoy your travel around Africa and continue educating folks. Be blessed brother.
Impressed. This is the lifestyle of the working class Ghanaian. In American parlance, you went to the hood. We call the household that you were in - a family compound house. It is the traditional way of living with the extended family. Nowadays, in the cities, the apartments are rented out instead of it being a family compound. You should also do a video on middle class and upper class living. The Western media only showed the rural areas and the slums. That is why now, Africans like to promote the suburbs and planned communities.
queban11 How can you be sth else when there is evidence everywhere that you are an african? Go read about the Haitians or Afro Brazilians. In fact read about the Gullah's of south Carolina as they were able to keep there african heritage. Not that I care whether you want to be an african or not but just educate yourself to avoid embarassment.
If AAs are not African, can't they go and visit? Or you want them in "Israel" as "JEWS"? But that part too used to be Africa. Africa may not be the right name for our continent but for now, that's what Euros are calling it. As soon as we become strong with might, we can change it as we changed Rhodesia to Zimbabwe, Gold Coast to Ghana,Haut Volta to Burkina Faso ect, ect. And for your info, on the continent, people do not call themselves Africans, they refer to themselves as Yoruba,Evwhe,Ga,Asante, Fula,Igbo, Kusasi, Dangomba,Mende, Tutsi,Masai,Kikuyu ect, ect. .The same as in Europe. No European or even Asians call themselves as such, they're either German, English, Dutch, Japanese, Indonesian Indian ect, ect. Ignorant can be a bliss.
I studied abroad in Ghana last summer! The best experience ever! It’s definitely refreshing! I didn’t want to leave!! I enjoyed watching this! I wish I had some RedRed right now!
As an African-American man I have to say that's one of the reasons why I respect and honor Jamaican people y'all have so much Rich history you guys are the best and Bob Marley was the best to and by the way Wayne Wonders song No letting go is one of my favorite tracks LOL
The title of your video is right. They want us to dislike nd be against each other. I have a Nigerian friend nd she is one of the Most sweetest person I've known. Nd you are such a Beauutiful Brother!
Love this. My parents are from Cameroon but I was born here in the US. I’ve never been back but I hope to go this year. Africans and african Americans, we are all one people. More people need to be on this pan african wave.
Bro I have been watching your videos for awhile now. I just want to say I really appreciate how your bridge the gap between the motherland and America for blacks. It is very heartwarming to the love Africans have. It have led me to reach out to my African brethren here in the states and it been nothing but love. I networking with them as I have brothers from Nigeria, Guyanese, and many others. Keep up the good work my man. We will fix this unity gap and form a new community is my dream!
I wish you could speak to a bunch young African American kids and share your experiences and maybe take them on a trip change their outlook on the various countries and cultures of Africa. I hope to travel there someday. I will be moving it up on my bucket list. I think you are awesome. Keep up the good work.
Wow I'm longing so much to be there in Ghana. I had plans to go in two weeks but things fell through. Hopefully I will go soon. Thank you so much for this viedo. I can relate to you on how you feel about Africa.
I'm a African but I'm always mad with those guys who say we hate them, I mean how can we hate African Americans when we all have the same skin color some of you guys need to come to Africa and see for yourself
Anthony Flomo those that say that really hate themselves. Come to the Afrocentric areas in the u.s. get away from folks who live in heavily populated white areas.
This idea of Africans hating on Afro-Americans is ignorant at best. We feel your pain and everyday struggles you go through in the US. We welcome you to Sierra Leone. Africa is your home. You deserve it.
Nice video; thank you for sharing. I hope you also show the hospitality of us as African Americans by giving them a little something also (money) before leaving their home. They won't say it, but they expect something at least to show gratitude. Thanks.
Bible Reader the guy had a big flat screen tv, probably a smart tv. He seems pretty comfortable, I think he'd refuse the money. But he could definitely give money to some poor people in Ghana
@@lordshtee398 So what he has a flat screen tv? Do you think the fairy God mama brought the t.v. You just don't go live people's houses and not offer them something? He should not leave that house without offering them something. Even if they refuse, leave it with one of the women. Life ain't free. My people think of the money you would have spent having to live in a hotel. He is getting a real experience. You don't leave that house before givng them a token appreciation. It is disrespect and bad manners. Everybody hates a free loader. They absolutely expect it, though they want voice it to you. I would not go to anyone's house in the for a barbecue without bringing a bottle a wine or some beer.
Yo that guy that let him stay in his house he looks just like my cousin Quincy 😂😂😂😂every time I see videos like this about Africa especially West Africa it do something to my heart like I belong there in United States I feel like an outsider I think most African-Americans feel that way.
My friend Alfred is from Ghana. And i was blessed to have spend time with him for about a year. Like i said i met him when i was 18. Now im 40. And i will never forget the things he taught me about Africa. Thanks bro. He encouraged me to marry an African woman. Well im not married yet because i haven't met that African princess yet.
You should, nothing hard, do your research, choose a country, save a little and embark to what’s going to be the most memorable, enjoyable, educational, unforgettable and emotional experience you will ever experience. Every single country in Africa is special, the continent itself is breathtaking.
It really hurts when we see African Americans saying we hate them, where does that come from?, we celebrate African American cultures, personalities and empathize with them, how is it even possible to hate African Americans as an African person?
@@jaxthewolf4572 we have so many Africans people who WANT TO BE BLACK AMERICAN SO BADLY, I'm not talking about American citizenship, I'm talking about adopting lingo, fashion, music etc...maybe those Africans are from francophone countries because all English speaking African people really love black American people.
Come through Sir- the whole of Africa awaits the return of its blood brothers and sisters from the diaspora!ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gmze8ixxw_w.html
I am a african American and travelled through out Africa. The people are so friendly. I now live in kenya and I am not comming back. Only to visit . My wife is from Kenyan.
lance Kelley that’s not your motherland!! African Americans are from Ghana Cameroon Nigeria and Gambia. Ethiopians Somalians and Kenyans hardly look African. They are caucasian with a darker skin and curls.
I loved this!I’m from Botswana,a small beautiful country in Africa(the south ).My people are mostly known as the Khoisan,(or bushmen-as referred to by the white man). Love how you’re bringing light to the fact that Africa isn’t just Ghana,Nigeria or the east/west.We are a continent with different cultures ,diverse!
I have more African friends than "African American" ones...I've never experienced (nor have my children) this so-called "dislike" people keep talking about. But for those who have....I'd say "don't sweat it!" Most of us have plenty of "African Americans" (even family members) that don't like us!!! Some of us even have family that won't claim us!! So I wouldn't let anyones personal opinion dictate whether or not I claim & accept the culture of my ancestors.
Avi Satou Ndiaye youre a hundred percent right avi satou ndiaye i havent yet made the trip to the motherland but all the african people i meet in atlanta are the coolest i eat at a senegalese resturaunt every week and talk with the owner n his family he always say we are the same people being from louisiana i love gumbo now i love soupa kandja
Anthony Mcphail .....I'm so glad that you see "it!!!" We definitely are the same people!!! We still eat some of the same foods (soupa = gumbo), we still have some of the same traditions (respect for elders, although we are moving away from it), some of us still have our reddish/brown skintone (the red Fulani) & swear we're "Native American", LOL!!! Most of us don't know we're the same people because we don't know/mingle with Africans to see & feel our "sameness".....West African food is thee ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I encourage Black people to give the Asians back their rice!!!! Jollof rice is waaayyy better. Try yassa, chu, domoda.....They'd never go back to chinese!!!
Anthony Mcphail ...my people are from Louisiana as well..."De Quincy". When I found out my people were from the Songhai region, I chose a name to reflect that & legalized it. My "surname" is "Chachere"....strictly Louisiana, lol
Avi Satou Ndiaye your comment seems to be against so called African Americans. If so you are a part of the problem and a re divisive and brain washed by whites
Fredom....Read my comment in its entirety & let me know which part you viewed as being "against" African Americans....I am African American & definitely not against any of my people, wherever they might be. My comment was in response to those that say...."Africans don't like us". Speaking to those that say that...I'm saying that there are African Americans that may not like you but you don't let that dictate how you move about within America. If they feel that Africans don't like them, they should not let that deter them from experiencing Africa. But to each his own...you are entitled to your opinion.
I ❤️❤️❤️ my Ghanian brothers and sisters. This past summer 2019, I had the pleasure of taking my kids to Ghana. We had such an amazing experience in El-Mina & Cape Coast. Let me just say that, as soon as I got off that plane in Accra Ghana, I felt like I was home. The people are so warm and welcoming. When it was time for us to leave to come back to the US, my kids did not want to leave. We will definitely be going back.
I am Haitian and Dominican, born, raised, and living in America, but my man is a proud born n raised Ghanaian man. His family was MORE than hospitable and accepting from day ONE... ❤❤❤
I've been told by Africans that if you have $10,000 to invest in a business, you'll be set for life. Do more interviews and let us know the prices of things. Peace and blessings brother.
God Zilla ....Yes bro its true i started a Cosmetics Shop with 8.000$ aftre high school. ...Now i make atlest 800$ a month. ..which is a good amout in African. ..
God Zilla stay where you are we Don't want your poison $10.000,we don't want another Liberia or palestine and Israel sheat,Africa belong to native Africans ,if our ancestor let you go it mite be a reason, please don't come and bring us your western curse, you are not welcome.
a . j a e rigggght. It's sellout African Americans like you that have never stepped foot in Africa that say this. White man created a concept of Africa for you and you soak it up. Can't say I expect African Americans to care about Africa because damn near all of you are descendants of a white slaveowners. I keep getting reminded that African Americans are happy that slavery happened. Anything to get out of Africa to white man's land huh
Traveling is such an enriching experience. Just leave that american ignorance there and humble yourself and open your mind and you will have a beautiful time. ☺
Great video! You, Bomani, the eat, love and migrate sista, along with Wode Maya and others are doing fantastic work at promoting Africa. My wife, one of my children, a couple of cousins and I are going to Ghana in May 2020. I can’t wait to get there. The governments of Ghana and other places you guys have been probably don’t realize what an informal asset they have in young folks like you with a You-Tube channel.
I genuinely enjoyed watching this video. I want to go to Senegal in a couple of years. Knowing that you've been to Dakar, I'm definitely gonna be seeking your expertise on where to go and what to do when I get there.
Much respect I pray that we as Americans can show love towards one another as they show you there! Much respect for showing us how people really are in Africa may peace be with you 🕊
Dynasty's videos are unique in that he actually visits the places were your average everyday african dwells in. You show us their daily living conditions and consequently how welcoming and generous they are. Keep it up. Is Northern Nigeria |(Kano) or Gambia part of your future itenary?
I'd rather have these people situation and not have to work my burn off all the damn time in the states. More material more stress. Shoot ima about to sell my car and everything and dip. Great video! Keep it up breh
Hamguy Bacon If you do everything in life based upon gain, you will be a key candidate for receiving the mark of the beast. Many people want to flee Babylon for scriptural reasons, not always monetary. Ponder that for a while. Jeremiah 51:45, even instructs us to deliver ourselves out of her, so....
On my way to Ghana for the first time in my life, I'm super excited to be in touch with the motherland and where my ancestors hail from.i I watch all your videos to try and learn knowledge about AFRICA and I just want to shout out to you to keep bring theses most informative videos, I aspire to do what your doing opening up the eyes of our people. I can't thank you enough. Peace I send to you.
Wow. Thank you for a vacation view of your vacation. The market is fabulous. The women are so beautiFULL. The men are handsom. Thanks. Jennifer from Decatur GA USA
Search for Uhuru please help its luke im kidnapped here in this hell racist sick america. home home home.i feel like a slave who knows. there roots their culture home im trapped
I love this video also am new to your channel and only watch two of your videos which in my opinion need more views because you are a living example of ending those negative stereotypes that some if not most people in America believe in as well as in other places around the world.
Any Africa American that want to visit my Country Sierra Leone Contact me aconteh6@gmail.com U can stay with my family for free.am leaving in Atlanta Georgia stay bless.
Man, I can't wait! When I was in the military I visited places where the living standards were below what we think is satisfactory in America but I discovered quickly what we think is "necessary" is nothing more than Western thinking and one of the reasons this planet is in trouble. Our people have always had an incredibly symbiotic relationship with the earth and this is proof of this. I really can't wait to visit my ancestral home!
Mr. Alexander you are very right brother Europeans are a curse to this planet they even force the east to do like them now Africa is doing the same thing. They always talking about global warming and they the cause
You are very appreciative. My first trip out of the US was to Senegal and Gambia. I drank the water and was progressively sick nearly the entire 2 weeks. Had I not been sick and, if I were reminded of the LACK of amenities that that I'm use to. I too spent time in a regular compound; I wanted to however, I found the mosquitos, minimal electricity, no phone or readily available internet, cold or bucket showers a major inconvenience, primarily because I was sick. Two: the Senegalese men ripped me off on two occasions, and the Senegalese women(except the one that invited me to her home), at the Air France ticketing were extremely rude when they descovered my American-English accent. The refused to let me use their phone to call Delta (the parent company), after I missed my flight because the driver took our money but dropped us off 3 miles away from the airport with all of my luggage. Those ladies had no empathy. I sat in the airport for over 2 days because there wasn't ANY place to go...the airport was in the middle of NOWHERE! I am now willing to give other countries in Africa a chance.
Thanks brother Uhuru, always good to watch your educational videos. Africans loves you and respect you Because you do the same. If i may ask you, Which camera do you use ? i remember you said Sony a6000 was not so good.
It feels really good to know this, I’ve heard stories that some of our people from Africa didn’t care for us. I’m glad to see proof that this is not true.
I truly enjoyed the video. My family and I were able to experience Africa first hand a few months ago in Senegal. We got a lot of strange looks the whole time we were over there and not totally welcoming, but there were a few people that treated us decently. I think for the fact that they have more white French people come visit than AA is possibly what triggered the standoff attitudes. Fortunately, we were able to get a good tour guide throughout our time there. He introduced us to people in the community who then were a little more at ease with our presence.lol. I think if more AA visit these countries, it will dissolve some of the tension of AA versus Africans. This was our first trip to Africa, but definitely not our last. I encourage all AA to visit Africa just to get a taste of history.
erika well the thing is sometimes they think you are looking down on them . It’s very easy to spot foreigners. Just the way your clothes look, dressing style , iPhones, selfie sticks, etc so they spot out foreigners and they would want to be friends or talk but they see you as coming from a richer country etc and they look down on themselves. This sounds weird but you’ll have to break the ice. Americans carry a sense of pride and boldness that comes with being the number 1 country in the world and America is a country of mixed immigrants from different countries so there is an international awareness but many countries in Africa many people have never seen a white person in their life or African american
