I accidentally found your videos yesterday and have been watching them off and on all day today. After watching other towing videos, I find yours is far better than any of the others. You are kind to people and let them help if they ask. You don't cuss or yell when someone makes a mistake, you explain what they've done wrong and why it has to be done a certain way. Your trucks are much better than any of the other towing companies. You are a family business and you take your work seriously. You also take care of your safety and that of your crew. Keep up the good work.
As many things that I've watched this guy pull out or off the side of a road/highway I know he could've yanked that tuck outta there at night blind folded no problem for him......... So I'll just tell myself that he waited till morning so that the fans could see LOL. Thank you. 😇
I am 77 years young, grew old in a truck8ng family, sure enjoy Ron’s videos. Luckily I only had to experience one need for anyone like him. Truck and trailer. Went off on a strep curve, flipped, and plowed a farmer’s field for him. Driver came through it without a scratch. God bless you guys and keep you operating safely.
I love watching professionals at work. Everyone clearly knew their places, knew their equipment, knew their limits, knew their safety procedures, and knew when to listen to the boss. Great crew, great channel!
Hi Ron, Ray, Mike and Dad! ✋ TEAMwork is the best work. 👍 When the hook decides to hook a tree, that's when you repeat "I love my job!" as many times as is necessary. You make everything that you do seem easy. Stay safe and God bless.
Talk about teamwork, this is a prime example of how it works ! I can see you value all your employee's and they respect you in turn. God bless you and the whole team at Midwest Truck !
It’s a fun trick I do when people get all pissy on the road. It’s human nature to copy what another person does: Monkey see, Monkey do! I wave at them and give them a thumbs up with a big smile. They can’t help but wave back even though they are pissed off, which makes them even more mad! Now they are also wondering if they believe I was saying Hi back thinking they were being friendly while they were blowing their horn, flipping me off etc.
Thank you and your team for such dedication to the job. I just really enjoy watching you all solve a dangerous and difficult situation..stay safe. Blessings. 🙏👠👠
Ron, it is awesome to see your father out in the field helping you in the recovery of the truck, you guys are an awesome team together with Mike, 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You guys make a great team, y'all seem to work flawlessly together and it's a welcome relief to have someone with such a strong faith on RU-vid that it really allows me to enjoy your videos without having to hear a bunch of beeps due to profanity. Keep being awesome and God bless you and your crew and I pray y'all stay safe out there.
The best part I like about your company is that you've spared no expense on the right tools to get the job done right and safely the first time, and haven't gone the cheap route.. To have a company you can pass down to your kids means having to make sacrifices on that financial decision to do the job right.. Thank you for the videos you put out and being apart of my weekly life to enjoy your content.
It takes some talented sales and marketing to support that gear. These videos don't show the work that goes into keeping the big trucks profitable between emergency calls. They get used for unloading construction materials moving and positioning most things within the weight and height limits and some tow operators have contracts with forklift and heavy equipment companies.
You comment about getting in hurry reminds me of my dad he used to tell me the faster you go the farther behind you get. Good planning can save hours of work. Great job of removing that from a tricky location. 👍👍
@Packrat 1963 , so true young man, so true. I am in my 70's and I lost my Father at age 12. It sure is a lot of unanswered questions. The school of hard knocks
Your dad's a trooper! I'm around 20 years his junior, and I don't know if I could stand in one spot for that long these days. 👍 Man, that was a tough one! You guys did great as usual. I could see the difference in traffic that blocker truck has made with traffic. What a great addition to the fleet! Great stuff as always, Ron and crew. May God continue to bless you all.
With all the stress and what is going on in the world right now, its good to relax and watch a complicated recovery made to look easy by Ron Pratt and The Midwest Truck Crew! Ron, you guys keep up the great work and stay safe! When y'all folded up the job in part one I was like great call. A decision that not only made working conditions a whole lot safer for everyone involved but the video was much easier to see in the day light! :) Glad to hear the driver was ok. God Bless!
Ron very nice video thank you The people Put thumbs down Give Ron some credit for entertainment Come on people this gentleman is trying to do everybody a favor Produce some of the best videos God-bless to ron and his crew in the family
The rescue vehicle is so classy, I love it because it's great. and he is as polite as anything in the world, politeness is never a waste. people will be happy to help and cooperate with you comfortably because of your polite words.
Dad, Mike, Raymond and Ron great clean and safe job again guys. Love it, great work ethics and precise job execution. God has blessed and may He keep you all safe.
Great teamwork again Ron, I’m very impressed on how hard everyone works to achieve a safe working practice and a good end result, well done all of you.
I WAS a big fan of “Highway through Hell” until I found this channel. I like the real world of this channel with out all of the fake drama, just matter of fact. Like being there. And the written comments are just right! Nice job! And Blessings from the Lord to you and your work!
This is my first year watching your videos and find them really educational. Thanks for the narrative you provide while rigging up for recovery. Always will be a fan.
Love the final minutes of the mini slingshot trailer wheels riding up the slope to the road and the trailer was perfectly level with nearside wheels in the air, that must have taken some control on your part Ron absolute poetry. Best bit of the video. 🤩
What a job, Ron! It's a great crew you have in Andy, Mike and your Dad! Even so, a good leader, like yourself, readily admitting to the occasional error, makes your work and your crew even better! Thanks for the vids and God Bless!
I always thought towing is just hook and go. Never in a million years have I thought there's so much more work involve it's hard work and detailed job. I learned so much watching your vlog. Thank you so much ROAD ANGEL may God continue to watch over you all ROAD ANGELS 🙏♥️♥️ be safe and God bless you all young men hard at work to keep us safe.
I’ve been watching your videos here from Upstate New York since the beginning of your channel.... I’m a tow and recovery operator and EMS as well. state police enforce the heck out of the slow down and move over law!!! Undercover in state DOT trucks, and tow trucks and even in buses! Catching those distracted drivers! Your videos definitely open the public’s eyes how dangerous the job is!! Thank you for all you do sir! 🟡⚫️🟡⚫️🟡
In south australia if you dont slow down past a emergancy vehicle or at the scene of a MVA(motor vehicle accident) with crews on scene depending on your speed you could A.hurt yourself/someone else or worse. B. Cause a 2nd MVA bc car infront slowed C. Cost yourself your licence for upto 2 yrs D. Lose licence and car E. Lose licence.car and get a massive fine (last one i herd of was close to 3000aud) and the fool took it to court and claimed he wasnt speeding etc yet they got footage of multiple cop cars and even a news crew who pointed it at thing and police radar said he was going 95kph past speed limit on rd was 100kph but cop cars etc were placed 2km back so a car could of slowed to 25kph(or 40kph depending on the state) well before hitting the scene. The bloke lost and wound up costing him close to 25k
Good morning Ron from Midwest Truck. I am a really BIG fan of how you work with your crew and others and it seems like you are a really nice guy. You remind me of my dad he owns a towing company outside of Detroit, Mi called Dixon Towing he taught me how to greet people how to talk and how to work with others. But that peterbuilt you have is awesome stay blessed Mr. Ron and your crew be safe....
I think this is the first time i have seen Ron use the boom over the front of the cab on the Rotator. Good to see the whole crew and Rons dad .Stay safe and God Bless gentlemen.
That's ok Ron as I am sure that your a busy guy and I for one that I am sure greatfull that you find the time to upload any footage at all of your work particularly with the Tator 👏👏😍🙏🙋♂️🇦🇺
That was my favorite part of the whole job and the video!!! I know it was just an empty trailer, but it looked really cool, especially working over the nose of the Tator and working in tandem with another truck in front. Thanks for watching and God bless.
You certainly don't need a Peloton with as many trips you make up and down ditches, hills, etc. BTW, you guys earn every penny you get. You're the "unsung" emergency responders who don't get the recognition you deserve. My hat's off to you all. God Bless!
Great Job! you almost need a HEMTT wrecker, just back right down there and snatch it out with the lift. Saw looks like it could use a kiss with a file, used to work logging and the boss said that sharpening or replacing the chain is cheaper than the gas or electrons you'll waste. Every break I'll give each tooth a single lick. Love the ending, smile and wave boys, smile and wave.
Well done Ron on recovering that Pig Truck hope you didn't hurt yourself when you tripped all your Staff are brilliant even your Dad Stay Safe God Bless from JEAN Co.CLARE IRELAND
You my friend are a great boss you treat your employees with the up most respect and you lead by teaching not ordering them around thanks for all you do and as you like to say GOD BLESS
Lady's and Gentlemen: We're all in this together. Wash your hands. At least for 25 seconds. And enjoy great content, such as this channel on RU-vid. Best regards 👍 from Los Angeles California USA 🇺🇸. God bless. "We will get through this".
When I see and hear Ron work without swearing I stop to think of what the number of times I've sworn and hope nobodies keeping track.... Let's see... Learned to swear when I was about 6 and I'm 55 now...... Good day about 50 times...Bad day ???!!
Mike sure is one wiry and agile guy. And he is freaking everywhere on these recoveries. Your poor dad only got to play in traffic. Good to see Raymond again, it has been a while. That Western Star is one dependable rig. Not fancy but strong. Good thing you got to wait for daylight on that one. It was difficult enough when you could see what you were doing, in dark and fog....Yeah, no thanks.
What a difference that traffic truck makes all the time you could in the background the lane stayed clear great job as normal from all the team stay safe everyone loved the speeded up part looked like dad was doing a small jig lol
And just like that, The BIG pig limousines is back up on the road way. Something tells me that both of these units needed some extensive repairs. These trailers are NOT cheap. And it looked in decent shape even after the recovery. All thanks they Professionalism of Ron and his crew. Watching how they don't do anymore damage than ABSOLUTELY necessary to the customers equipment during recovery is amazing. You'd be surprised how this is NOT what you get from every Towing & Recovery Company.
Hi Ron. Another great video an so nice to see your dad working along side you an Mike all we needed was Talon there an have the old team out on a recovery. Hooking the tree was one in a million chance an you pulled it off without even knowing and was nice to see the traffic obeying the laws an slowing down and moving over and hats off to your dad for standing there keeping you all safe enabling you all the go home at the end of the recovery. As always Ron god bless you an your family an everyone at Midwest trucks stay safe and as always Ron #SLOWDOWNMOVEOVER!
What a teamwork, Ron's dad is so helpful , Ron respects and seeks advise from his fellow staff, and what a risky job, with no police or traffic officers on site.
He seems to be getting his enthusiasm better directed. Looks to be shaping up to be a pretty good operator. I remember when he was starting he was such an eager beaver he was almost in the way sometimes. Ron's done some great work with him.
Terrific video of some great teamwork. You can be very proud of how Ray and Mike are following your example and displaying real intelligence, stamina and positive attitudes. And your Dad just keeps on going! All in all, a very impressive story which has all the storytelling style of a professional documentary. God bless you all.
My father passed away 4yrs ago and I would give ANYTHING to be with him again. Please cherish every moment you have and thank you for sharing your family's life with us.
