When Pneumonia Walks - Dr. Julie Philley 

I contracted walking pneumonia when I was walking through the hall of a hospital. What I remember about it was the urge to cough but nothing would come up. I also had severe lung pain and sore throat. I tried to wait it out but the pain persistently got worse. I went to a clinic to get the diagnosis. The doctor gave me an initial cephtriaxone shot, then seven days of Azithromycin, prednisone, and a inhaler. I must say that I was feeling better that same evening.

I get it every other year or sometimes every year. its brutal IT feels like your SLOWLY dying. Severe fatigue, body aches, STOMCH ACHE (no puking) copper or metal taste in lungs when you cough, dry cough and little mucus, swelling of my windpipe and sore throat, body aches, tingling skin, YOU THINK it starts to goes away after a few days and you think your getting better then over night its gets worse. its like your immune system gets stronger and fights it off but this bacteria also gets stronger and you get worse and worse. can last up to a month. tug of war between your immune and this bacteria. one more thing also confusion, disorientated, trouble concentrating.

I was a victim of pneumonia n it not easy

When I had walking pneumonia it lasted from December to February and I had a dry cough, soar throat, nausea, and my head felt like it was full of water and it was hard for me to move

I had this it really sucks it stayed around for weeks.

I went to the doctor today and I had a shot and guess what I got walking pneumonia 😫 I was scared I got a shot

I actually have a pneumonia I got diagnosed today I didn't know i even had it

I’m not sure what I have. I don’t feel terrible but I have a light cough and my chest is a little tight and I have the feeling of when you inhale water while your in the pool in my chest and sinuses.

when I Had Walking pneumonia and about five days later I ended up in Medical Intensive Care Unit at my local Hospital On A Ventilator Fighting For My Life

I had this and I lost my entire voice ( I literally had to whisper for u to hear me) lost like 30 pounds I had it for weeks to a month or 2 I was a sophomore and went to homecoming next thing u know I had it , wheezing, sore throat, coughing, common cold symptoms, was forced to go home and missed school for a week cus of it it’s no fun so I had it from October I wanna say to mid November

Definitely got to be careful with walking pneumonia and regular pneumonia. Walking pneumonia and regular pneumonia are not good at all.
