Espinoza is a hell of a fighter. After he was knocked down, he got injured in his right leg, but despite the pressure, dude was firing back. Congratulations to him. He got heart ❤
That was a comeback you could compare to the greatest in history. Micky Ward, Erik Morales, any of those legends. He was almost finished off-- almost couldn't stand up-- and he just never gave up.
I couldn’t believe what I was watching. He has a long way to go before he can considered a ‘great’ champion but that level of determination and relentless attack is the stuff of legends.
if a fighter gets knocked down and falls again during the count. by rules the fight should be stopped. its the reason why they didnt allow zab to beat the count against tsyzu
I don't agree with the outcome. Yes he got that last knockdown but through out the whole fight he was getting hit hard with clean shots. Ill admit,, The amount of gas and chin that kid has is incredible for his build and size
Fight of the year for me. Both fighters did great. Ebbs and flows throughout with elite technique shown from both. Espinoza being the taller fighter put more bodywork in throughout the fight which I believe was the difference and lead to that last round. The heart he showed getting up from that knockdown and withstanding heavy shots after was super impressive. I am a fan of both and look forward to seeing both again. Hopefully they take less punishment in fights going forward because fights like this are not sustainable apart from causing long term damage. Blessings 🙏🏾
@@josephmgomez3921 Simply that fight could have been suspended because Ramirez's father was dying but he neglected to fight and his physical form was not the best, but he was the best at all times, fighting against a 6.2-inch man, discrediting Ramirez is an act of cowardice and I see this a lot on the part of Mexicans.
@@jacobgarcia6452What a stupid and ridiculous comment. It's boxing! There are gloves! So if you change the rules of boxing, the Cuban might have had a chance? 😂😂
This was my fight of the year for 2023. It had everything. High output (over 1000 punches thrown by Rafa!!), momentum swings, knockdowns, little to no clinching and an upset to top it all off. Wonderful fight
I have watched it many times. Never give up no matter how hard and knocking you down the fight might be. Still, get up and leave everything out there. Heart of a champion
Wurd wat a dumm mex ahh can’t don’t no the flags & pr fighter have the will n warrior in them just like ya tomato can’t do tomato cans lol we ya biggest rival in boxing
I need to see this fight. I want Espinosa to become unified champ first so Inoue won’t have to fight too many fights to become undisputed at 126. This would give Inoue a higher chance of moving to 130 if he is undisputed by the time he’s 33.
@@Titus213-xc7pi Inoue is the biggest name below lightweight. And last time I check the Star calls the shots If he wants to fight in his home country infront of his people he has every right too
@@Titus213-xc7pi Inoue Is a 2 undisputed 4 weight world champion and you say he’s not chasing greatness? 🤡 you want Inoue to come to the states and get robbed If he doesn’t knock his opponent out.
now thats what im talking bout , no punk in neither of them , no running . Lets get in there and do what we came for 👊🏽👊🏽.. thats they way a champion supposed to get shit done
@@josephmgomez3921 I think that Naoya Inoue may have a tough time against Robeisy Ramirez but I think he will cream (that is to say win easily against) Rafael Espinoza
That shit wasnt even a come back he was just relentless kept coming forward with heart of a Mexican he made a mistake but still kept coming to whoop that ass
Let's put this fight in context. This is the best battle of wills and combination punching that I have seen since the first three fights between Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez. For those new to the sport of boxing, go to RU-vid and watch to understand what I'm talking about.
Espinosa is a tough fighter, he put up an incredible fight...but how did he even get this fight? I mean he's only fought cab drivers in Mexico before, and his next opponent is exactly the same fighter who has never fought normal opponents. Wbo is now replacing the Mexican title?
Tu mismo te das la respuesta, si llego a esta pelea por ganarle a taxistas, esos taxistas son buenos boxeadores, digo cada q ganan una pelea van subiendo el ranking.
@@Killa91115 Lol, I wrote about it explicitly, what are you reading into it? In both cases it was the know-names from Mexico that got a shot at the title.
Great comeback but not to win the fight…. Cuban kid won most rounds and they both scored a knock down, the most a draw for me but I’m not a judge respect to both good fighters 💪🏼👊🏼🙏🏼
This kid Espinoza broke Ramirez…. Ramirez will NEVER be the same .::: once a fighter voluntarily quits on himself they are never the same This so reminded me of cotto vs Margarito 1 - cotto being the smaller more skilled fighter and who’s just couldn’t keep the bigger Margarito off of him….
