She wants to go swimming, she forgets to bring swimwear. She mentions a feast, she forgets to bring food. How much longer will Shar keep making her forget even the simple things?
There’s an additional bit to this in the conversation the morning after the Nightfall Ritual (which is still bugged Larian!) > I dishonoured Selûne… I debased myself. “You certainly did. It was spectacular. Don’t worry, it gets easier and easier, the further you venture into darkness.”
I wonder- sometimes dataminable dialogue was actually cut and was never fully implemented or intended to be (aka non-canon but planned and scrapped, or similar). Could it be like that?
Honestly it should be an instant oath breaker where you were there in the shadowfell and you just let your goddess daughter get killed. I always had an idea in my head that my character would choose to sacrifice themselves to save Aylin. Some kind of line like kill me not her line. Then Shadowheart is conflicted AF because I always romance Shadowheart
i just remember i got to the point in act 3 with my evil chr and till that point i was loving beign evil and then shadowhearts questline and i was like?? no i cant do this this is just i mean there is fucked up then there is this..(i did maker her full on shar but i really regretted it) gg larian in every rpg where u can be evil there has never been a choice that i could do where i felt actively horrible for beign evil and ive played kotor 2 allright and in that game u can be the biggest fucking scumbag ever..
There’s edgy and then there’s some creep kink territory and this crosses the line for me. Especially when you know gods are real in Forgotten Realms. It’s basically like they threw someone’s blood on their parent’s camera at their front yard and now they’re doing it. Yeah, no, call the cops.
@@BlueFire015 Because there is morality and there is the alignment system. Simplest example is Fable 3. "Evil" choices save the kingdom, but ensure child labor, building of a brothel and draining a nearby lake. "Good" choices close down the factory, build an orphanage and keep the nearby lake...only to be devoured by shadow monsters.
@@SporeTres sometimes it is like that sure. But i like to imagine my evil chrs have atleast a shred of honour and decency and stick to punishing or killing ppl who annoy him or failed him, shar however she doesnt have any of my virtues
Thanks for uploading this because I wouldn't be able to enjoy it myself. The defacing of Sêlune's statue, Shadowheart saying thag this means nothing to her... in case any more people needed extra signs that this os her evil path 💀
The Halsin jump cut and sound effect was brilliant editing! Man this dialogue was so brilliant! I've not ever played as a Selunite in BG3..I'm well, too much on Shar's side of things in terms of preferred solo alignment in what I play. Plus I adore Shadowheart, so I appreciate you sharing some dialogue I'd genuinely have never likely seen otherwise
Talos the mighty! Talos the unerring! Talos the unassailable! To you we give praise! We are but maggots, writhing in our own corruption! While you have ascended from the mortality, and now walk among the stars! But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you." Aye, love. Love! Even as man, great Talos cherished us. For he saw in us, in each of us, the future of Skyrim! The future of Tamriel! And there it is, friends! The ugly truth! We are the children of man! Talos is the true god of man! Ascended from flesh, to rule the realm of spirit! The very idea is inconceivable to our Elven overlords! Sharing the heavens with us? With man? Ha! They can barely tolerate our presence on earth! Today, they take away your faith. But what of tomorrow? What then? Do the elves take your homes? Your businesses? Your children? Your very lives? And what does the Empire do? Nothing! Nay, worse than nothing! The Imperial machine enforces the will of the Thalmor! Against its own people! So rise up! Rise up, children of the Empire! Rise up, Stormcloaks! Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine! For we are the children of man! And we shall inherit both the heavens and the earth! And we, not the Elves or their toadies, will rule Skyrim! Forever! Terrible and powerful Talos! We, your unworthy servants, give praise! For only through your grace and benevolence may we truly reach enlightenment! And deserve our praise you do, for we are one! Ere you ascended and the Eight became Nine, you walked among us, great Talos, not as god, but as man! Trust in me, Whiterun! Trust in the words of Heimskr! For I am the chosen of Talos! I alone have been anointed by the Ninth to spread his holy word! I pray to Talos that RU-vid won't delete my comment.
Thanks! Not many players have a chance to see this, since playing a Selune's cleric and then push Shadowheart to Shar is rare. I wonder, what is happening with this relationship after a won battle, in the good ending and dialog with Shadowheart?
would be cool if there was an option to renounce selune and get the shar deity tag after being 'corrupted'. Kinda like how you can become a vampire if you ascend astarion.
Apologies to anyone who ended up with this scene and thus lost Baldur's Gate 3. Don't fret! It's not THAT hard of a game, you can try again and win next time!
@@vices_42 I don't really care. Stop making assumptions because you look dumb. But let me say: "Why do you care so much lmao? Its not your RU-vid channel"
