Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, COD Modern Warfare 1-3, World at War and Black Ops 1-2 are games that I replay so many times

GoW trilogy and Batman trilogy never aged These are the only two franchises that I played every single install of

Bully is my favorite game of all time. I’ve bought it on my ps2, ps3, ps4, Xbox 360, and ps5. It truly is a timeless game. The first platinum trophy I ever earned. And it is one of the most fun platinum grinds.

I’m playing Bully on my ps5 at this moment, always takes me back to 2006 playing with my cousin whenever either of us would spend the night with each other, cause we both had the game.

There's still *some* good single player games but the heart and soul of the AAA industry is long gone.

The 360 era Assassins creed games, Halo 1-4, black ops 1-3 and OG old modern warfares, Prototype 1 and 2, the 360 Spider man games, Gears of war 1-3, and even the tie-in movie transformers games plus the Cybertron games, and way way more on the WII and PS2 oddly enough there’s even more on the Ds as well, I’d be here all day listing them LOL but basically 2/3 of my childhood memories are these games right here

I've got a pretty big list of single player games that I adore: - the Batman Arkhams - all GTAs from 3 to 5 - the Mass Effect trilogy - the Star Wars KOTORs - Persona from 3 to 5 - the Halo games from Bungie - the Resident Evils from 1 to 5 (remakes included) - Final Fantasy 7 and 10 - the Half-Lifes - The Witcher 3 - Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines - Devil May Cry from 3 to 5 - Prince of Persia from Sands of Time to The Two Thrones - Dragon Age Origins - RTS games that I like playing just for the campaigns alone: Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2, most of the Command & Conquers Of course I know many other single player games that are great, these are just the ones that I personally ain't getting tired of, I'm always up for a replay.

Single player games are simply put, better than multiplayer games. For one, while they do include micro transactions, these micro transactions are 95% for additional content (maps, extended story like side missions, characters), and don't have seasonal passes. Also you don't require connection to play and its all you, your own pacing, your own choices. Single player games - actually enjoy the game Multiplayer games (online specifically*) - either try to have fun but queue with tryhards or trolls, and get stressed about it, or become a sweatlord yourself killing fun altogether

Just replayed Metal Gear 2 and first time playing metal gear 3. What great games and stories. Everyone needs to go back and play MG2. So many things they talk about creepily fit perfect in modern times.

I feel like 2 player games should be OPTIONAL in a game mode, meaning it's not required to play the game but is just an optional gaming mode. The player should have the choice to play with another person or play in complete solitude. Giving players options can go a long way. This is one of the reasons I absolutely ADORE the Lego games, they give you the choice to play alone or with another player. A.I will take over for the other character if the player decides to play alone, but they are still very much playing by themselves as the A.I is just an extension of the game it's self.

Youre cheating yourself not playing arkham asylum, i know alotta people say "city does everything better then asylum" but trust me asylum isn't just watered down city, yes its smaller, yes its more simplified, but it still has its own unique feel to it, given its slower "clunkier" combat, plus the metroidvania feel to the whole thing, even with city being my first arkham game, asylum had me hooked, i'd honestly go as far to say i prefer it over city in a way But yeah my childhood game has gotta be dead space 2 and dark souls, they just dont miss, honorable mentions to sekiro and dmc5 (only honorable cuz they were more teen years then childhood, but regardless i remember feeling like a kid back then, at least compared to now, fuck i miss those days)

Arkham City was and still is my comfort game. When I was a kid I used to sit down all day and just finish arkham city then go and have a meal with my family. absolutely perfect game

My top 3 games from a kid that still hold up today prince of Persia warrior within which was my all time favourite game before it got replaced by red dead redemption two. Pokémon colosseum and gta 4. I wasn’t a huge gamer until my late teens I was born in 97 so I was already 15,16 when I got my Xbox 360 so I count up until 12.

I never got money to buy a PS4 and I could never save money to buy a PS5. My dearest PS3 is all I have since my PS2 doesn't work anymore. And ever since my sibling and I bought the PS3 in 2012, we've been playing the same games again and again. For me, some of those games are the entire greek saga of the God of War series. It was the first GoW that blew my mind when I first played it. I loved it so much it became one of my favorite videogames of all time and one of my favorite videogame series of all time. It hurts that though I bought GoW 2018 when it came out I could never play it because I don't have a PS4... Back to the PS3 games, when I got to buy all of them and play each one, whenever I want to play them again I just can't pick one of them at random and only one of them. I literally play all of them one after the other in chronological order. From Ascension all the way to GoW3. The gameplay, action, battles, puzzles aren't the only thing I enjoy about the games, Kratos' journey of vengeance and redemption/freedom is one I love so much that I need to play it fully and in order. No other series of games has me that crazy about chronological order. Except maybe my trilogy of Batman games. I've played Arkham Origins recently but haven't got the time to play Asylum and City. In part I think that those two have been hard for me to pick up since Kevin Conroy passed away... But I'm gonna play them again eventually. Batman has always been my favorite hero and I could never forget the feeling of amazement when I finished Asylum for the first time. City was even more impressive but I think the atmosphere is better in Asylum. City kind of overwhelmed me when I first played it xD And though Origins is not made by the same people, it is the prequel to Asylum and I love it for it. The game in general is amazing and I've always thought it deserves more recognition, and a remaster. Very underrated game. There are other games I play thousands of times again and again, but the GoW games and Batman games are the closest to my heart for sure.

Wow, when this video started mentioning Batman Arkham Asylum I was like "wait, childhood? Was this guy born yesterday". Then I look at the release date and it's a 2009 game... so, basically, I was a kid too, but for some reason that title feels 10 years "newer" than something like God Of War 2, a 2007 game. It is also hard to believe that God Of Wae 2 came out the same year as Crysis. In my memory those feel like two complety different stages of my life.

Single player games are better than ever. I can name 10 games from this year alone that are on par or better than these: momodora, yakuza: infinite wealth, tekken 8, p3r, elden ring’s dlc, dragon’s dogma 2 to name a few from the past few months.

If you enjoy combat in general, God Hand on PS2 is a certified classic. Do yourself a favor abd get it because the game is top tier
