I haven't played BF4. Why is the sniping better?

MJM no sweetspot and it's skill based sniping . Closerange 100% damage on all body parts. On distance only headshot oneshot.

BF3 sniping was the best though.

Chipsiffy False. Certain sniper rifles can not one hit head shot past 250+ meters. That just stupid. Other then that, bf 4 sniping is fun but not great.

I can never see BF4 as the best game simple because they fucked me over as a Knifer. That CK, which they never fucking fixed, was straight up BS. It rewarded bad players that was caught with their pants down. Seriously, seeing people 180 IN THE FUCKING ANIMATION caused me to hate BF4 for a long time.

The best change was slowering the ttks a bit so you don't get killed by your ennemy during the rechember animation or switch for ur secondary after hitting for 80. you have either to pick slower ttks like in bf1 or 1 hit kill snipers which is a really bad idea in a bf game, otherwise you make snipers completly underpowered like they were in bf4 (and that's the truth, even if u can do very good with a sniper in bf4, they are still extremmly underpowered and that's a fact). But you know the full auto noobs got used to see snipers extremly underpowered and now they think that it's just normal. The sweetspot is annoying but not gamebreaking, there are a lot of ppls able to go 70-5 at least with every class so it's always funny to see 1 kd noobs complaining about sweetspot, exposing your self to a sniper is a noob mistake anyways. Playing without sweetspot isn't really a big deal, i would be glad to sacrifice the sweetspot for no supress like in bf v. But noobs are thinking that because of the sweetspot mechanic you always get OHK which is absolutely not true, you get 90 hitmarkers very frequently and anyways, you don't go 140-10 because of the sweetspot mechanic trust me. No supress, no sweetspot, bigger hs hitboxes and higher bullet speed like in bf1 is the best balance imo. The sweetspot wasn't such a bad idea but just extremly poorly executed. I remember that arround when the game came out, shooting someone running sideways was always a 90 hitmarker if you were in your sweetspot, it was better like that imo, idk why they changed it. "i am litterally the best fps player in the world but my kd is only 0.5 because of the sweetspot mechanic diiiiiice plz" - a random salty bf noob that knows nothing about positionning but complains about everything.

untypebanal surRU-vid i dont think sweetspot was overpowered or gamrbreaking. Its just a dumb mechanic IMO. The recent rainbow scopeglint addition was helpful.

the idea wasn't really dumb, just how they made it, i am sry if i was a bit agressive lol, i was just a bit triggered by all those one kd noobs saying that sniping is ez mod, it's an insult to every good sniper players who trained hard to become killing machines

and not everyone is a god sniper in bf1, except if for you going 40-10 is being a god sniper

JSTIG 99 that's why I don't play bf1, players are the same skill with any class, it doesn't feel like battlefield at all, in 4, I'm a great medicine( 40+ revives on avg in conq lg) im a decent sniper, I can usually hit 500m+ shots fairly quickly (not sure if that's good on PC but on ps4 that's pretty icy) but I'm not the best mechanic, I just use rpg7 and I use mortar for the memes with a riot shield on support

I always prefered bf3 over bf4. Bf4 was just fugly imo

bc2 wasn't perfect it was almost too easy to snipe in that game

All games have a sweet spot. it's called the head. But joking aside I think BF1 would of been a lot better with no sweet spots. BF4 had way too slow velocity for the rounds. You could dodge a sniper shot a lot easier in that game but if you want to be a tdm asshole just use the scout elite and put a laser sight and reflex sight on it. Boom you have 1 hit kill sniper for really close ranges and a decent small game sniper. Hipfire on the scout elite was insane.

Solid Zack i snipe on console and the sweet spot should be removed, battlefield 1 is way too easy. i stopped playing the game in 2016 due to how easy it was

No Name im still playing it right now and I cant complain. It is strong I give it that but its definitely not overpowered and being able to sometimes still get a 1Hit Kill even tho you dont get the headshot is really satisfying. Sniping im Battlefield 3 & 4 was cool on long ranges but aggressive sniping was painful for me due to how often I missed the head and my target escaped I do hate that people set bullet damage to 200% tho to get always get the kill (thats when I use the cavalry to show them how wrong their decision was)
