I was top 500 on Xbox One for sniping. I miss those days. I loved BF4, especially the metro map.

I still play this game pretty regularly. Has the most rewarding gunplay. BF1 and BF5 were just gimmicks with a price tag.

Sniping was beast in BF4, and by far my favorite sniping in any battlefield! All I did was play Recon (the SRR was my favorite sniper)

I've been playing bf4 actively again for a while now. It's awesome how active the servers still are on ps4. On a weekend there's 20+ conquest servers full with 5 people in queue.

8 years later and I still miss this game. Take me back to 2011-15

I guess no one remembers the ridiculous bullet spread of bf2 making it damn near storm trooper levels of difficulty where u have to be a seasoned vet to have positive accuracy

This was, in my opinion, DICE's last great Battlefield. Bf1 and Bf5 are enjoyable, but nothing compared to that of bf4 and even bf3. They need to make another bf4 or bf3 and get off this theme of WW1 or WW2.

Would love to see some more bf4 content every now and then!! Even if the clips weren't as good as you would like. Great vid anyways!

The Deagle was so awesome in BF4. Actually there was so many awesome weapons to choose from

the only issue with sniping on bf4 is on console if you just have a regular controller. the deadzone to shoot is so high, meaning you have to pull the triggers all the way down to shoot. i got really good at sniping on bf1 and bf5 from being able to flick shot with a light tap of the trigger and being able to pop in and out of cover while being able to quickly shoot and respond to the scene in front of me. but its still an awesome game and getting kills feels so rewarding

I wish I could find DECENT BF4 servers 6 years later. Apparently you can but for me on east coast USA, all I see is weird "Civil War US vs US" servers, a bunch of hardcore, 24/7 golmud or metro/locker, etc. Very little rush. Tons of servers that show up as full but when you open the server details, there's 2 people in them. And on and on. I've wanted to go back and play it a few times now and I've been able to find 1 or 2 fun games that usually last for a single map. I just want to play standard ranked conquest 32 or 64 player with a good ping and a decent map rotation whether it's standard or premium maps I don't really care. Harder than it seems for me lately. If anyone has any suggestions on good servers, feel free to let me know. My filters are as wide open as I can make them.

Sniping is fun if you get kills, but I always get 75% pistol kills if I snipe...

meanwhile in BF V...bullets just disappeared or beeing stopped by leaves, invisible walls, fences, flies, force, glass, wind, light...

The saddest thing is that i cant enjoy it the same as i enjoyed it back in 2014... Just feels depressing man i was so good and now im a bot

I want a sniping game that’s as realistic as possible and is like approved by actual snipers. It doesn’t even have to be very fast-paced. It can just be like the experience of a professional sniper or something where you hide in the grass. They can speed it up if they want.

6 years later and this game is still better than BF5. Let's keep Battlefield 4 alive as long as we can

tbf only one bug shit part of bf4 is just netcode, after all, like after the first 6 months they unfuck the game after release, the game run really smoothly.

I wish I had bf4 in its prime. I love the sniping in that game and I first got the game after BFV came out, I'm that late, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the game

This game was everything, man, it felt so satisfying- you earned every kill, no 360 No Scope.. or some asshole running & gunning; great team effort was needed.

I LOVED sniping in BF4, I should say counter-sniping because I’d pull out the 40x and hunt down recons using the range finder and kentucky windage to get that perfect shot. SO satisfying!

I really enjoyed BF4 Sniping. Not sure if I preferred it over BF3 or not. I think my longest headshot in BF4 was 1020ish meters. It was on a private Sniper only server so I didn't feel too bad about sitting at the edge of the map for a bit.

Recently threw down on some BF4 and I have to say, I missed it! Quick scoping was so easy on that game 😟

BF4 was an amazing time for me. There were so many ways to play, and sniping was my second favorite to medic. It took me a long time to get good with it, but after I nailed my first +1000m headshot, I was hooked.

Looks like the ability to hear and determine the direction of an enemy attack is a huge competitive advantage in BF games. Sucks for people with mono hearing.

When sniping was good and Battlefield in general was good.

When sniping had a PURPOUSE. In BFV all guns are snipers.

Just the UI alone is so much better, clean simple text without silly skulls. Having a dmage counter that puts the player damage at the top rather than the xp total

The pay off was immense! I didn't play it for 2 years and i picked it up again and the bullet drop and timing was still burned into my brain.

i was a ps4 and ps3 player but there was something in this game about sniping that every time it felt amazing...now on bf1 and bf5 its just stupid and ez...

the best part of BF4, on medium hardware (GTX970/1060 + 4960 i5 OC @4.2ghz) I can have it upscaled from 1080p x1.24-1.5 and it runs at 60-80fps still. I know only ReAl GamErs play in 200fps with a $2,000 rig, but for $750 or less, this game looks and runs better than any current shooter. God bless you BF4.

When sniping was hard... I first learned sniping on BF4 lol so that's why it's not that hard. Well, I'm not great, but I have a very high headshot rate. Nothing beats a well calculated 1-shot kill.

One thing I always thought was funny about everyone's raving for BF4 sniping is that the SRR was by far the most used rifle and has similarly high bullet velocity to BF1/V snipers (without the velocity dropping over time) and less bullet drop (gravity) on the bullets than BF1/V. Stupid thing was easy mode But then again I was a CS5 guy soooooo bias
