Mia don't worry what others have to say, you have way more than millions out there coukd ever dream of, TALLENT, LOOKS, PERSONALITY, and full on cuteness
Considering what that multi stringed electric violin will be worth when the maker retires, she has the golden fiddle. And the sound that comes out of it is a lot more valuable than gold.
It was absolutely amazing, but never forget, the internet is a lie. It was rehearsed, and they knew the person who asked them to play it. There is no need to make it seem on the spot. It was fantastic.
Honestly the only cover i think i've heard of devil went down to georgia. That takes real guts to even try such an epic classic, and i think this was an excellent live recording pulled off in one take.
Listen to the Levellers when they did it live. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pYYbc1IOBm0.html I was lucky enough to be there in Glastonbury and all over the UK when I used to follow them back in the day.
Their performance was awesome especially for just doing it on the spot. I also have to mention that violin is the coolest and craziest I have ever seen lol
When I first saw the violin I thought it was a flying-V of some sort, never having seen an electric violin like that. Then she put it on her shoulder, hit a few licks and took her hands off it..... and it just stayed there on her shoulder like a pet that really wants to please. And girl you can play! I'll B Bach... for more Also subscribed because you spread Happy.
I've never seen a 7-string violin before, so I had to look it up. It's a "Viper" model made by Wood Violins of Tucson, AZ. They come in 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-string versions. I'd love to hear what the lower strings sound like. Awesome playing!
Beautiful, brave and talented! Never be concerned with the opinions of others who are not also willing to step in your shoes and pull of something like that, AND keep going after a quick goof! You're a true star Mia!!! ❤🎉
One time, I went to a “dance” club and there was a guitar player in the restroom. I requested “hotel California “ and he started playing it. Half way through the song, people started to sing along and he’d looked worried. He kept on playing, they kept on singing, each verse got hurried more and more. By the end, he did the whole song, people were happy, and he was glad to be done with it. He was compensated very well also. Great times I tell you.
The guitar did not help. It just sounds off tempo, un melodic and did not match her pitch. And yes I’m a musician. However I still appreciate their bravery.
@@col2049 LOL, nope. I'm afraid I have a passport and populate the rest of the planet earth (hard to believe I know).... So non American here (Thank God).
Violins don't have 7 strings. Violins don't have frets on the fingerboard. It's a guitar being played with a bow. Just because you put it on your shoulder and stroke it with a bow doesn't make something a violin. If I took a violin, held it at my waist and played it with a pick would that make it a guitar? No.
I saw Charlie perform this live, he tore the snot out of the bow, he called a kid probably about 6 or 7 up from the front of the crowd and gifted him that bow right there in stage and just grabbed another out of a bucket full he had up on the stage.
It's a Wood Violin, Viper. Couldn't tell if hers is a 5, 6 or 7 string model though. They make some quality stuff. I'd like to have one myself, as I can't properly hold a fiddle anymore due to some neck/shoulder injuries. Super nice piece of kit, either way!
I’m a musician. Your voice is awesome. Brilliant interpretation too. You didn’t just try to replicate Daniels so straight up you get big points. Plus, I love your reimagining of the devil’s solo. Your friend on the guitar is great too, and he is right to get excited at the end of it, cos you both nailed it. Love ❤️ 👍
HOT, HOT, HHHHHHHHOT !! As a family of violin players 5 generations back. That new fangled violin is awesome. You have made me want to get out my old violin to see what is left as a grandma of 65. And introduce an up and coming violin playing granddaughter to a new style of violins.
I can't believe and don't understand why more people didn't stop to enjoy and be fascinated with all that talent! May be people are just to occupied with there cell phones.
watching her sing and playing was so nice. It made me smile just seeing her play. That is so nice to be able to see someone that puts a smile on your face when she plays. wow
I never heard the original song before, but this version is top notch anyway. This girl knows how to sing. In fact she does not sing : she talks, which is always the best way of singing.
Hopefully they also showed their appreciation. I've seen crowds enjoying free performances and wouldn't even tip as much as they would for getting a coffee.
This keeps popping up in my recommendations and I keep watching it. I love this song and I love the playing and the voice of Ms. Asano, what a charismatic performer.
Nice performance here. At this point, if people want to see this song performed live, it has to be with someone who was not the original singer, since Charlie Daniels is no longer around to perform it. He would have been proud of you though.
That was amazing fiddle playing and a very entertaining performance. The singing gave a great frame of reference for the tune and was just a super cute effort. Again the fiddle playing & guitar playing were awesome. Thanks for sharing this.👊👏👍
Bravisimo. Charlie Daniels, one of the best there ever was and he's smiling down on these two young musicians so proud of how wonderfully they resurrected one of his greatest hits. Great job and greatly to be applauded.
Mia, if you're ever in London drop me a line. We could do dinner. Not sure why you would, but I live in hope. I took my X to Vanessa Mae, when she was pregnant with our son. Wow! Wow! Wow! I just love the violin 😁🙏❤️🇬🇧
Living their best life! When you reach the twilight of your years, maybe sitting looking at the sun go down with a salt breeze coming in from the ocean, I see you looking back on your lives with a smile and not one shred of regret. Rock on!!
