Como para olvidar ese despropósito que fue a hacer holanda a Sudáfrica Y lo peor es que si no es por medio pie de casillas podrían haber ganado esa final La mayor injusticia de la historia hubiera sido.
Karate was the Netherlands' tactic. And, while they almost got away with it completely, they did not win. They did not deserve to win. ESPAÑA was the best.
Yep, because he never said a single word or would act "crazy". He literatelly was top 2-3 strikers in the world during that era and best spanish striker in the history.
Correcto para mí villa ha sido el mejor delantero de la historia de España , me encantaba y da igual que equipo jugará te la metía por todos lados y de todos los colores
U ppl rlly like to make this type of comment lmao How, if he played it all, played in Barcelona and At Madrid. The comment of X is underrated its whats underrated.Villa was great and we spanish ppl know it.
DAVID VILLA was underrated by the media because he was an ASTURIANO and not a Catalán nor Madrileño. The fact is that he is the BEST Spain has ever had!
Xavi and Iniesta were the greatest players of that generation of Spain. Carry this team and every game they were dominant, the only problem was that they weren't that good after the age of 30 otherwise they would have taken 2 more Champions Leagues, 1 Euro and another World Cup easily. But what they did was also crazy. 2006 Champions League 2008 Euro 2009 Champions League 2010 World Cup 2011 Champions League 2012 Euro 2015 Champions League. The players who were also responsible for the era of Barcelona and when they retired also their era ended at least in the Champions League Messi alone could not even take one. Easily the best playmakers in history and it's not even close🐐🐐
It's a team effort and you can't single out just 2 players. All the players they had including those on the bench were world class. Cassilas, Ramos, Alonso, Puyol, Villa, Torres, Navas, Capdavila, Busquet, Silva, Mata, Albiol, Abeloa, Reina, Valdez, Llorente, Pedro, Fabregas etc. Some of them didn't even kick the ball the whole tournament. The bench alone can be another country's 1st 11. You can't have such talent and not win.
Not even close. Barcelona paved the way for more than half of the team. Spain back then used to play the very same Barça's game, you could even tell because of the rehearsed team plays, and in general, Guardiola's touch in every pass. Del Bosque did it really great, but he just had to let them play their game and do some actual team building so they can really play together.
When the Span'ish national team dominated the world, FC Barcelona dominated club-football worldwide. When the Women's Spanish national team won the WC, FC Barcelona Femeni won two back-to-back UWCLs , three victories in four consecutive finals Isn't that a pattern, kind of ?
14 years have passed since that unforgettable summer! Now that I'm older, despite knowing that I will relish that moment forever, I can't help but feel sorry for Paraguay. Spain was the best team in the world. They deserved to win. But, Paraguay rarely has teams as good as that one. And, to miss a penalty against eventual winners, Spain, had to have been heartbreaking to this day.
This spanish team has Captain of Real Madrid - Casillas Captain of Barcelona - Puyol, who wonderfully managed two young guns of that time and future of Spanish defense, Ramos and Pique. Best midfield of the world... Xavi, Iniesta, Xabi Alonso, Fabregas, Busquets, Mata, Silva
Are you sure??..Casillas saved Spain..barça? Alonso..key midfielder.. Barça too? Villa was Valencia then.. Arbeloa..also barça?, torres..barça??..ramos!!...??barça??
How? The first goal from paraguay was offside because Cardozo tried to play the ball, not allowing the defender to hit it. Back in the days, referees wouldnt give a sh*t about the goalkeeper moving forward in penalties. They started to pay more attention after this world cup. And do not forget the GIGANTIC penalty the paraguay goalkeeper did to Fabregas just after Xabi Alonso failed it. The only "rob" in favor of Spain was against Portugal because Xavi touched the ball getting Villa into offside. And dont forget Netherlands 23984239030909 kicks against Spain in the final :)) with the lovely De Jong karate kick to Xabi Alonso or the crazy hard tackles by van Bommel. Nobody still understand how they got into that game with 11 players for 100 minutes
